I've been in the area for a couple of years now and have finally found my new go-to salon! As a…read morenewcomer, it was a little daunting trying to find the right hairdresser, but my experience with Salon JaDor has been amazing from the very first phone call. The woman who took my appointment was so friendly and thoughtful. After hearing about my hair type, she recommended Dora, an experienced stylist who she felt would be a perfect fit. That was so appreciated, and it showed me the salon truly cares about its clients. When I met Dora, we instantly clicked. It felt like we had known each other for years, and our conversation flowed so easily. It's a rare and wonderful thing to find a hairdresser you connect with on that level. She made me feel so comfortable and we talked about anything and everything. The salon itself is beautiful--newly remodeled and much larger than my old one. I love the layout; there are spots for clients to chat, but the chairs are also spaced out enough for a sense of privacy. Dora is not only a fantastic stylist but also a great person. She listened to all my stories and even offered some great advice. She also suggested darkening my hair a bit, which has made my eyes pop. It's a great example of her expertise and creativity--my previous hairdresser, who was an expert in her own right, never even mentioned a change like that. Dora, thank you for your incredible attention to detail, your listening ear, and for being such a wonderful person. I'm so grateful to have found you! Danielle M.

I went in for a cut and glaze. I always get a glaze on my hair that costs around $30. When I got home and looked at the receipt I saw I was charged $78. So I called and asked how much they charge for a glaze, the women said $26. So I told her I was over charged. Then she asked me if it was put on in the chair or by the sink. I said chair and she said oh that's different that's 78, if it's by the sink it's a toner. I replied okay I asked for a glaze which is always done on the chair for 20 minutes I didn't get permanent color. She then told me to call back when the managers in from vacation next week. If I asked for a glaze and she herself said it's $26 then why is she comparing toner/highlights and permanent color Update: received a phone call from the "manager" I was told that a tinted glaze is 78 ( I've been getting tinted glazed for 5 years and have never been charged more then $30 anywhere). So I basically got a glaze for the price of a full head dye. Also she was harping on arguing with me that she never told me it would be $26 for a glaze. she did tell me $26 but she was adamant about arguing with me that she didn't. Which is hilarious because she wants to pretend I'm lying but if she was a good "manager" or even good employee she wouldn't hide the price from customers, so either way her argument made no sense. A good manager would fix the problem at hand instead of wanting to argue about nothing. I was told a glaze is when foils are done ?? That is not a glaze, a glaze coats your hair. I get them every month, this salon has it's gown definition of a glaze I guess. I NEVER put permanent dye on my hair which is why I get a glaze. So basically this salon took it upon themselves to dye my hair even though I asked for a glaze which they obviously don't know the definition of. If you want a mediocre haircut by people who con you by overcharging then go to Regis.

I just came home from this salon with ORANGE hair! I was under impression that this salon had semi…read moreprofessional employees. I was wrong. Reason for my visit was to get rid of old, red hair color and go back to my natural dark blond. I explained the reason to the girl at the reception very clearly. She never introduced herself, and turned out she was the one doing my hair. I was persuaded to go with the highlights instead which will make my hair less damaged than stripping the color. I was suppose to have blond hair after that with the darker streaks in it. NOT ORANGE. Not to mention skin on my head is burning from the amount of chemicals that were put on it. To top that off, I was told over the phone that the redo policy apparently can be bend in whatever way they want and the manager is not available and if I want to have blond hair I need to pay them more money!!!! Unbelievable, never had been in situation like that and obviously I will never ever go back there again.
