This place was great. The staff was extra friendly and accommodating. The margaritas were delicious and strong. They had a great variety of dishes on the menu and all the food was fresh and well made. There are only 2 reasons I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars...my brother has been wanting to try the swordfish (which we heard a lot of great things about) but they were out and the service was a tad bit slow. Other than that this place is amazing and I would definitely recommend it!

My second time here I gotta say I love it with not many options to find good restaurant besides Susana's is a must try while being in rosarito,

One of my favorite restaurants in Baja. GREAT location in downtown Rosarito Beach.....with a WONDERFUL patio outside to sit at (if you choose) this place is a gem. I've probably eaten here 10 times in the last 10 years and it is consistently just a great dinner with terrific service. My personal favorite is the Filet Mignon. Yummy.

Wonderful meal. Loved the blue cheese salad with walnuts & green apple. We wanted to return before we left but did not have the time as a storm front was coming in & we needed to get back to San Diego for Thanksgiving.

Right off the bat, they brought out complimentary, tiny cinnamon rolls with our coffee, which was a great touch. The food portions are huge and fantastic value for around $25 to $30 total for two people: The Louisiana: Packed with biscuits and gravy, a sausage patty, potatoes, and pancakes. Tons of food and really tasty. French Toast: Ordered by my wife, and it was delicious. The highlight of the visit was our waiter. He carried himself with the posture and formal Spanish vocabulary of a high-end, fine-dining maître d'. It made for a hilariously memorable experience because he had a bit of a "Soup Nazi" vibe, very prim, proper, and mildly irritated by our imperfect Spanish and extra requests. When my wife asked to skip the bacon, he firmly let us know, "It comes with bacon, you will have the bacon!" and when I asked for ketchup after the food arrived, I definitely caught a subtle eye-roll! That said, it was all in good fun. Once the meal was served, he was attentive, boxed up our leftovers, and provided great service. We tipped him well and enjoyed the experience. Note on Location: The current listing on Yelp seems to show their older address further south. They are actually right in the heart of the action in Rosarito, roughly across the street from El Nido.

Nice, airy dining room with lots of fresh air as the dining room flows to the outdoor patio. We started with the Pull Apart Parker Rolls which were freshly baked & served with soft butter. Sooo yummy! I had the butternut squash risotto & added shrimp. It was perfectly cooked & shrimp were tender. My friends both had the scallops entree & I had a bite of the scallops which was tender too. We were too full to attempt dessert but maybe next time.

But my sweetie was in the mood for the buffet so we came here. On a weekday morning, it was a 30 minute wait for a table outside. I didn't mind terribly as I squeezed in a beach walk. But the food is not necessarily worth waiting for if you don't want a buffet. My sweetie loved the fresh fruit of all kinds and thought he got his money worth. The things I liked best were the custom-made omelette that you can order that's included with the buffet. I also liked the watermelon and the juice of the day, which was cucumber lime. The coffee was also very good. The croissants were not very good. The scrambled eggs were OK. You could add on made to order mini pancakes for three dollars. They were actually delicious, but it took a good half hour for them to come. If you really want a buffet and the price does not scare you, you will definitely find something to eat here and the patio is pleasant. But otherwise I don't particularly recommend the Veranda for breakfast. ENO is tasty, cheaper, and faster, even if it's mostly pastries and coffee.

So my experience is based on my limited exposure to this type of dining. The ambiance is very cool, outdoor in the middle of vineyard. We were there in late July, so it was a little warm but bearable. The staff were professional and very attentive, we enjoyed a variety of menu items to really explore the menu. We had the oysters, the pig, the cod, and the ribeye. Everything was delicious, we tasted a variety of wines for which i do not remember the names, but they were primarily from the neighboring winery. Overall I was pleased and I would return again, but maybe after I have saved some more money LOL.

We received an appetizer for the table from the chef to start off our feast. The Blood Clam aguachiles were amazing and a must order. It is not your typical agauachiles. The clams were chopped up with made it a perfect dish to share for all of us. It was excellent. We moved on to a very delicious salad that was not on the menu but we asked for a house salad that we can all share. It was packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, beets and radishes. We moved on to our main course and the ribe eye was seasoned and cooked to perfection, enough to share for about 4 people. We ordered 2 but we could have easily had just 1. The oven roasted Curvina with vegetables as also very tasty. It was not my favorite but when you have rib eye cooked the way it was, we didn't need the fish. We topped off the night with dessert a frambuesa with vanilla ice cream.
