The food is always delicious and what we ordered. I have never eaten in while the restaurant was busy so I always feel like our table gets a lot of attention. Food comes out in perfect timing. This place was a little tricky to find but definitely worth going to!! The decor inside is unique and interesting. We had pretty good service and the food was REALLY good. We tried to be adventurous and try some new things and there were some that I wouldn't get BUT the rest was amazing!!! The Firecracker is a must try!! When we tried it, all my friend and I said was "wow"!! Rock n Roll was at the top! So many others too!!! The menu doesn't have a "ton" of options like other sushi places I've been too but you still have a very good selection! I'm sure u won't get bored! Also, they do have a $2 up charge for other certain items but honestly, you probably won't miss the. Came once before, half an hour after the time they're supposed to be open, however the staff was running late and had not yet opened the doors. Nice decor. Strikes me as a "hipster" sushi joint. The sushi is not bad but not great. It's a pretty cheap all you can eat, however with that amount of rice on the rolls and the select rolls that are featured in the "all you can eat" menu being deep fried, there's only so much you can eat. By far my favourite sushi in Windsor. Rolls are delicious and the portion sizes are generous. My wife and I have become regulars and we are never disappointed. I went to Sushi Bar today for the first time and can say it was absolutely awesome. They have an "all you can eat sushi " menu for 20$ which was fantastic. It included appetizers and most of the sushi rolls. There egg rolls are awesome and I would highly recommend them. The staff was very friendly and the place has a trendy feel. read more

Stopped in with a group of four for all you can eat on a Tuesday evening. It was decently busy, especially for a slightly out-of-the-way location. $20 dollars is reasonable for AYCE sushi around here for sure. The place is nicely decorated, and they do have a patio. On to the food: We ordered miso soups, gyoza and egg rolls, all were very tasty especially the egg rolls. Nice and delicate and not greasy, had some sweet sauce drizzled on. We ordered about 8 rolls total, all from the normal priced menu. Many other rolls and specials were $2 extra. The sushi was pretty tasty, especially for AYCE, a little bit salty at times, but if you like cream cheese you will love it. I described the menu as a little bit "mangiacake sushi" but regardless the chicken and waffles roll was tasty, all were really, just a little salty. I would like to go back to try their regular menu and experiment with their more traditional type rolls. Service was quick and friendly! Would rate it a 3.5, but having Sapporo on tap bumps it up to a 4! read more

Came here with my boyfriend the other day wasn't too pleased with the service or food. Service was super slow and there were only three other tables besides us. My boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki since he's not a fan of sushi really. The lettuce inside the roll tasted spoiled or rotten was really gross. And then we ordered the kingsville roll, the red peppers were too strong and took over the entire taste of the roll. The crispy calamari roll and salmon nigiri were really good though. I see a lot of nice reviews so maybe I came on a bad day? But overall the service and food weren't really worth my money and time. Don't know if I'll come back to this sushi place. read more

We have gotten food poisoning from this plave twice now! We used to come here all the time until we got sick. The first time we figured it was by accident or something so we went back and didn't get sick after that. Then we went again this past week and got super sick, worse than the first time. This place is my favourite sushi restaurant ! All of their food is excellent quality and fresh. My favourite roll is the "Golden Dragon" roll ... It's so good ! I usually only get water when I eat sushi and it's 20 dollars per person for all you can eat, but you won't be disappointed ! read more

Don't waist your time on the $20 AYCE! There are much better places in Windsor to go that charge the same price or maybe just a bit higher. This AYCE menu is MORE than limited - honestly it isn't even a menu. In addition there are more pieces of Sushi that you have to pay an extra $2 for just to order! The mentioned they are an arm of Koi Sushi. I have yet to visit Koi, and after my quick stop here I doubt I will. Why when I've been to places like Tenka, Hoi, Tenko, and the new one now at the old Montana's off Walker, Taka. Their menus are extensive with over 100 items on the menu. Not to mention items such as miso soup, beef broccoli, pad thai, teriyaki chicken. I know it's not sushi, but it's great when you can take friends and they benefit from the AYCE even if they don't care for sushi. Sorry - this place just doesn't pass the AYCE for me and that is what I was there for. read more

My sister and I went on Tuesday and a day later we were both sick with food poisoning! Needless to say we will never go back! YUCK!!

Awful service and terrible menu selection. I can easily say that I have never been more disappointed at a sushi restaurant before. Right from the beginning the staff failed to mention that for an All-You-Can-Eat menu, the next sushi roll cannot start being made until you table is cleared. So whether you order one at a time or 10 items at a time, you are bound to be waiting 10 minutes between rolls. I recently went with a friend to Sushi Bar for the second time to give the restaurant a second chance and we ordered off of the All-You-Can-Eat menu and were extremely disappointed. Again, we asked if the next roll could be brought out since the only roll the waitress brought on the table I disliked - the answer was no. I had to sit and watch my friend try to eat as fast as he can just so we could get the chef to start making our next sushi roll. After an hour at the restaurant (this was supposed to be a quick lunch hour visit) we had to stop the orders even though we were still hungry. We got served 4 small rolls and a salad in total. And we each paid 20$ for this lunch. That is the second time I tried this sushi bar. They also only have maki rolls and appetizers on the all you can eat menu - so no sashimi or sushi - for dinner as well. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Went to the restaurant and was disappointed. We had gone once before my spouse tried the chicken and waffles sushi and really enjoyed it so we thought we would try it out again. This time I had a small roll but found it so large it was difficult to eat in one bit . The rice was way to thick and it had very small portion of fish. My spouse ordered a speciality roll that was also more of a two biter. If you have to eat it a half at a time it will most likely fall apart and be a mess. My greatest disappointment came with the bill. We noticed the special roll was changed at $2.00 more then on the menu. We inquired and was told he had to raise the price (due to cost if the soft shell crab) and we must have gotten an old menu....seriously it was probably a quarter piece? The chef did not offer to correct the pricing since it was their error instead offering 10% off for cash , no debt but they do take credit cards. O.k so $2.00 discount and the $1.75 to take cash out ? It's not the money it's the point of making a customer happy or never seeing them again....guess this is good bye. Again very disappointed we live so close and could have frequented this place often. read more

Went with my wife for a quick dinner. The waitress was great. She was helpful and made sure got things the way we liked it. The calamari were great. The scallops work good. The rolls we very good. We didn't do the all you can eat, so it was a bit more expensive. The only reason I didn't give it it 5 stars was the sushi choices were very mainstream and didn't blow my mind. read more
