I came here bc it had a good reviews and I got the Beef Teriyaki Entree. It was ok - I liked the variety of veggies. But the service was awful. I came in around 9PM on a Tuesday, and they're supposed to be open until 10PM but it didn't seem like it. I've never been so passive aggressively run out of a place. I ordered a miso soup to start, then got an entree that came with soup and rice, and she brought me a second soup with my meal without asking.. so I technically was charged for a miso soup that I didn't drink lol. The manager kept pacing around the restaurant floor making the guests uncomfortable. The manager kept asking my table and other tables if we were ready for the bill when we clearly weren't and made us feel rushed to finish the meal, pay and leave. I felt unwelcome and watched the entire time I was there. The food was very expensive but was quite poor in quality. I definitely would never recommend this place to anyone I cared about. Even the water had a funny taste, which concerned me greatly. I didn't eat very much and couldn't wait to leave. Here's to praying I don't get food poisoning tonight . read more

3 stars for the price, 4 stars for food quality. There is too much black pepper and sesame oil in chicken udon, which turned out to be great for us who just finished 4 hours cycling on Pelee Island. Also too much sesame oil in seaweed salad. Seacliff roll is a bit heavily because of the peanut butter. read more

i love this place! There's very few sushi places in Leamington/Kingsville so this is my to go place when I have a sushi craving. The maki rolls are great and the soups are flavorful and not overly salty like alot of other AYCE places I've been to. I would recommend the lunch buffet since it is alot cheaper than dinner. For dinner, I always enjoy the bento boxes! They're filling and yummy! read more

One of my top sushi places in leamington. Food comes out quick, services is friendly, and I've always had a great experience. All-you-can-eat prices are comparable with places around this area so can't complain there. My only con is that they do not give you paper to write your order like other places do. The waitress comes by and you narrate to her what you would like which sometimes get confusing. All in all, still one of my favourite places in leamington/kingsville. read more

Living in Vancouver you get used to loads of good sushi restaurants, this place puts some Vancouver places to shame. Sake Sushi was very clean, the rolls were tasty and nicely arranged, the miso soup was good, anything deep dried was crunchy, not soggy and they had dessert included on the AYCE menu. When the hunger for sushi hits, we love that this place is so close to home! We also love that you pay one price and order small portions of what everyone at your table loves. The presentation of each roll and sushi order shows that the chef really enjoys what they are doing - serving sushi is an art and they have a few artists working here! Our servers have always been very friendly and quick to refill drinks, take orders and clear our table. We usually come here with our young son (who loves a few of the cooked items). We do our best to contain the mess he makes, (he's under 2), they are always very willing to offer an extra hand or napkin or direct us to the change area in the bathroom. Very thoughtful. The food is fresh, the sushi is great, the rolls don't fall apart, and the selection is great! The dinner menu has a few more options. There are also a few 'non sushi type items' they ones we have tried have been pretty good! This restaurant is great the sushi is so delicious. Their sashimi is so soft and a little slippery. It's like a salmon noodle. I love letting them slip inside me so I can taste all the flavour. Wakame salad is also my favourite salad. The mango maki is also very good I love the yellow mango sauce it's succulent. read more

Been three times already. If the quality keeps up - we got a real winner! I'm super impressed. REALLY impressed. Martin the manager/host is awesome. Don't go here by yourself, they will not take you seriously. It wasn't a busy night, i waited at the door for 15-20 minutes , and when i got a table i waited another 10 minutes and eventually just got up and got a menu off the counter. As far as all you can eat sushi goes in Windsor, Sake Sushi is definitely at the top. In comparison to some places like Hoi, Sake's fast, more comfortable an intimate seating, and a great menu!! As a Sashimi lover, I know you can't get amazing Sashimi from all you can eat joints but as for being a student on a budget just trying to fill my stomach, Sake is always my go to! We recently ate here with a large party and it was great. The service was fast and friendly, and the menu was very robust even for an AYCE sushi place. I thought the cuts of fish used in the sashimi and nigiri were fresh tasting and nicely portioned without being to little, which I find often happens with AYCE places. This is the best all-you-can-eat Japanese place that I've been to. Some of the all-you-can eat Japanese restaurants popping up lately have been somewhat sub-par, but here this was not the case. I've had better sushi before (although we didn't try a lot of the rolls), but the majority of the items we had were fantastic. If you go, definitely get these: Bacon asparagus roll (crispy and delicious) Rock shrimp (I think I could have eaten nothing but this and had a good meal) General tao chicken Vocado roll (Don't be put off by the corn, it works great) These are also quite good: Golden fish Beef teriyaki Salmon rose The one thing I didn't care for was the Mango Chicken, but I was probably getting a bit full of battered and deep-fried foods at that point, and that particular dish was a bit dry. A lot of stuff here is deep fried even if it doesn't say so on the menu. It's all very good but it might get a bit excessive. (With that in mind, I was expecting the Tempura Ice Cream to be actually fried, but it was just pressed in tempura bits. Oh well.) Also,one of the chefs/cooks came out and talked to us, and he was very pleasant and appreciative. For $21 all-you-can-eat this is a great choice! read more

I recently went for dinner at Sake Sushi. I have been a regular at this location as it is typically very good. However this last time they were quite busy. I understand that service can be a bit slower in times like these as I have worked in the restaurant industry for quite some time. The issue that I have is when you not once but twice ask your server after 45 minutes of waiting for two Dynamite rolls whether or not they will be coming anytime soon and the server continuously tells you they're on the way, they are just busy without checking. Finally at the third request they asked the sushi maker. The man shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't have our order. I was very upset. I will not be going back to Sake Sushi anytime in the near future as I believe this is extremely poor customer service and was managed very in efficiently. To top it off there was no compensation or even in a discount of any kind offered or given at the time of our disgruntled departure. read more
