The menu is full of great option, but please... take note of the card in plexi on the table - there is magic listed there. I won't bother telling you what we ate. Suffice it to say every bite was outstanding! As a Vegas local we are used to lots of Sushi choices and delicious fresh sushi. Having been to the Vegas west Sahara location we came for Social hour at the Cedar Park location expecting good sushi. Let me say we were not disappointed. Amy one of the owners was excited to have some Vegas folks in for a visit and we were excited to have some yummy sushi. It was fresh and well priced especially the sashimi. The sushi chefs were friendly and the menu is diverse with choices for all. Any west coaster should definitely come eat! AMAZING !!!! I just relocated from California, and I have been to several sushi places but this one by far was delicious. My 4 year old daughter (who is a picky eater) loved her food as well. The customer service was excellent, our friendly server was attentive and super nice. We were unfamiliar with some on the sushi and she was very helpful and detailed in explaining the different dishes. The food was to die for, it was like Las Vegas meets Austin. At the end of our meal, the sushi chef/owner made my daughter a bear out of oranges. She was very excited about that. When we were done with our meals, the owner Amy came out to introduce herself and ask us how our experience was. Not only were we very impressed, we felt extremely welcomed. First of all it was 3 people in our group and was during lunch time. There were only 2 other table before us when we got there. Our order took 30 min to come out. 1 of the order came real fast in 15 min and other 2 took 30 min. By the time rest of our order came out first person finished eating and had to see us eat the food. Restaurant should really train the cook/staff on basic rule try to send the order out together not 15 min apart. Also when my food finally came out the tonkatsu was wayyyyyy over cooked and was size was maybe about 2 inch x 4 inch. I sent it back and amazingly it came back in 5 min or so. I had to go back to work so I ate it in like a minute. And no one came to apologize or anything. I was very unhappy with the service and quality of the food. Unless you are going to eat sushi or roll only I would not recommend this place at all. For spending $50 for lunch for 3 I expected top service and food. I love Japanese food so I eat regularly at Japanese restaurant and this one is miss for me. I definitely will not go back unless they improve customer care and maybe get a new kitchen chef. read more

Nothing made me happier than Sushi Fever opening in Cedar Park and being every bit (maybe better) than the original Las Vegas location. Mr. Lee has done his family proud and after numerous meals with family,friends and clients I just had to review them. My favorite is the Screaming Orgasm (Salmon) as well as the Kiss My Bass and Sashimi Wrap to name just a few. Flat out the best rolls in town and the best Salmon I have had anywhere! read more

Ordered a couple of nigiri sushi and an entry. They brought entry first and sushi in the end and that's not right to me. The entry was not cooked right ( it was Katsu don and they had only a couple of thin sliced Katsu that were not deep fried, and the fried egg on top of it which is way different from how it supposed to be.) Come on people! You can do better cooking by yourself by watching Youtube videos or something! Lol will never come back I guess. read more

Have been here a handful of time now. Fresh, quality fish. Decent prices for sushi and for sushi in Cedar Park. Good drink selection. Some unique rolls. Good happy hour price and selections. Finally checked it out. Good Sushi is hard to come by around here. Sushi Fever was better than average, but nothing great, especially at the price point! I ordered a dinner and a roll. I haven't been this disappointed in Japanese food in quite some time. Service was slow and the sashimi was NOT fresh. The salmon was actually slimy and the texture of the maguro was simply wrong. The sushi itself was pretty meh and the katsudon was way too salty. Not sure what the hype is, but there are far better choices for Japanese food within a few miles of this place. read more

After seeing all the 4 to 5 star reviews, I was geared up for this place. I came for a take-out order for lunch and it was ok. Nothing spectacular, had the sushi lunch special with the candy roll. The presentation of the food was coarse and not appealing. I understand that this was carry out, but I have carried out from Soto's as well and they win this category hands down. I thought I would give them another try the next day and ordered the cooked foods in the bento boxes. I think the portions were small for the price and the flavor of the food was meh. The wait for the takeouts was rather long, considering i came in towards the end of the lunch specials. There were a couple of occupied tables, but definitely not crowded. The waiter that took my order was polite. I think I will stick to Soto's even though it's slightly pricier for the lunch and dinner items, the quality of their food is amazing! read more

This is my 4th time eating as Sushi Fever and will definitely be the last. Tonight I went with my daughter as a special treat for her. When we were seated we were told Christopher would be our waiter. He briskly came and took our drink order, and tried to rush off but I had to stop him and tell him that we'd like the miso soup and enamame to start. Christopher comes back fairly quickly with the drinks but is off before I notice that there is no sugar condiments on the table for my tea. I had to hunt him down after waiting quite a while to ask him to bring the sugar. Then- 17 minutes pass. I'm not even kidding. This place isn't that big, and it was not at maximum capacity. 17 minutes and I counted passed before Christopher comes back to tell me our rolls will be out shortly. The then AGAIN tries to run off so each time I've had to stop him with his back turned to me. This time I kindly reminded him that we also ordered soup and enamame and I still needed sugar. He does, but just about rolls his eyes and walks away. I was actually surprised when he cam back a few minutes later with the soups. When he did come back he flopped the soups on the table so roughly they spilled quite a bit. He walks away. It was almost so offensive that I wanted to call him out and ask if maybe we didn't something wrong. And I am not the confrontational type. We wait again for 12 minutes, the rolls finally come out. (this is 36 minutes after we sat down, I was texting my husband at the time so I was able to keep track of time). With the food also came the heavily heavily salted enamame. we tried mixing it up but it was too much. I ordered two spicy tuna rolls, a california for my daughter and a fried roll that I can't remember the name of. The california roll was fine, but the spicy tuna rolls were tiny and made up of mostly rice, and a chunk of avocado with a smear of tuna. The tuna had zero flavor and tasted like maybe they just sprinkled cayenne on it and called it a day. I love sushi. And will eat it until i'm horrifically stuffed. We didn't even get close to finishing the spicy tuna it was terrible. Can I also mention that I had to flag down our waiter for the little dipping bowls for the soy sauce. Because he never brought those! After we decided we'd had enough. On came the last lap of our battle with SF. Waiting for our waiter to bring the check. He never did. Actually. We never saw him again after I asked him to bring the dipping bowls. We waited, and I'm not even remotely kidding almost 20 minutes for someone. There was a nice lady who worked there who was crazy busy filling to-go orders, and one other waiter. My daughter was having fun playing the staring contest with me so I figured we'd wait it out. Finally- one of the sushi Chefs saw me constantly looking for someone that he went and got the lady from the back for us! Anyway- I hate that not only was our server terrible, but the food has gone downhill. read more

I've been here for lunch twice now. I would say its your pretty standard sushi place. They do get pretty busy during lunch so it does take a bit longer. They also didn't have a changing table in their restroom which was a bit disappointing for moms with little ones. read more

We received very bad customer treatment. We wouldn't recommend. The food in this place is good. But the customer treatment depends on pure luck. We have been to this place several times because of the quality and today finally decided it was our last time because of service. We called and ordered food by phone, because we wanted to save time. When we arrived we had to deal with inexperienced hostess wearing glasses who lacks manners: The order did not come out correctly. We asked for no cucumbers (my boyfriend is strongly allergic to it) - cucumbers were inside the food. We asked to redo the order. They didn`t remake the roll. Instead, they picked out cucumbers from rolls and gave it back to us. Some were still inside. The hostess said - it's avocado. They finally went to remake the order after my boyfriend said that he was allergic to cucumbers. Then hostess starts to chat on the phone before the conversation is finished. We ordered chirashi (chef put a lot less fish than usual, probably because they were asked to make the food way too quickly) and it came with white rice. It would have been cheaper to order the sushi a la carte and at least I get to choose what fish I get. When we asked for brown rice on the chirashi, the hostess asked us to pay another $3 for it. We had already paid $9 for brown rice total because we told them to make everything in brown rice. It was also missing the miso soup that came with it. The hostess does not think anything can be her fault, and did not seem to care about fixing the problems. It took 30 minutes longer for the order, and the rice got very stale like groceries sushi. read more

We live in the neighborhood next to Sushi Fever and have been wanting to try it since it opened. Prior to our visit I read all the glowing reviews which left me expecting...more...from our visit to Sushi Fever. We arrived at 5:30 on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was mostly empty -- there were only a few other tables. The waitress was kind and quickly took and delivered our drink orders. That was the only time during our dining experience that anything was done quickly. Our appetizer (the gyoza) came out at the same time as our rolls and it was lukewarm. You could tell that it was sitting in the kitchen for a while before our waitress picked it up and brought it to us. Other than the temperature the gyoza did taste good. For our rolls we got the philly roll and the shrimp tempura. The philly roll was good, although I feel like there was way too much rice and not enough of the other (good) ingredients. The shrimp tempura roll was just OK. It was kind of bland. Both of these rolls were on happy hour, so I am willing to return and try their specialty, non happy hour items and revise my rating if warranted. Honestly, though, I believe happy hour items should not be of a lesser quality. Lesser quantity? Sure. Quality? No. We were approached by the manager (owner?) and she offered a sincere apology for the slow service. They DID get busy and full all at once about 10 minutes after we arrived which could attribute to their slowness, but we were literally there for over an hour just to eat two rolls and an appetizer. Most of that time was spent waiting... waiting for our food and waiting for our check and NOT eating. I'll give it another shot but honestly it was just okay. read more

Me and a group of co-workers went here during our lunch hour on Tuesday. When we were seated it took about 5 mins before a server came to our table. From the time we order our food we noticed that the table that ordered a few minutes before us sitting beside us was able to receive their food and finish eating before we even got our food. Since we were on our lunch hour we had to request to have prepared to-go instead of dining in. Even after the request it still took another 15 mins to get our food. The people there didn't seem urgent to get the food out for us and the manager didn't seem apologetic at all after being spoken to about the situation. To sum it up, we sat down at 1:25 and didn't receive our food to go until 2:16 and we were late back to work. I'm all about service on top of good food and because of this I will never return back, didn't leave a good first impression at all. I wouldn't recommend coming here during your lunch hour. read more
