On one visit, the edamame tasted like soap, which made it inedible. However, one thing has consistently bothered me. Every time I pick up my order, the manager comments on or complains that I ordered through DoorDash. As a customer, that makes me feel uncomfortable. Instead of feeling appreciated for supporting the business, I leave feeling guilty for how I chose to place my order. I understand that third-party delivery services charge restaurants fees, but that's an issue between the restaurant and the delivery platform--not the customer. Sushi is good here, we had crazy shrimp roll and a monster roll delivered. Wasabi was only included with crazy shrimp roll and they only sent 2 tiny packets of soy sauce. The rolls were great, especially the crazy shrimp roll. However, if we didn't have our own wasabi and sou sauce the meal would have been ruined. Presentation was also very poor. Because of the COVID I got desperate and ordered take out sushi... So don't expect the greatest sushi here, but if you want some cheap and fast sushi then this place will do the job. I ordered a variety of rolls so here is my quick little thoughts on each one. Chef's Batter Tuna Roll -The fried batter was crispy and not greasy, so thumbs up for that. I just didn't like the cooked tuna so I would retry it with a different fish. Salmon roll -Its a simple roll but probably my favorite. The quality of the salmon was good and the veggies had a good crunch. Ell roll -the texture of the eel was a little too soft and mushy. I prefer the eel to be tougher so I wouldn't order this again. Crab roll -this was my least favorite roll. The roll was very bland and none of the flavors really stood out for me. Each sushi comes with a side of pickled ginger and some wasabi. I attached pictures below of each roll so you can get an idea of what it looks like. The recommendation: I would say the sushi here is a little better than the sushi from the grocery store but that's about it. If you're on a budget and just want some inexpensive sushi than this place is good for that, but you get what you pay. Tonight was my first experience with Sushi Go. Got home from work expecting to make a meal at home, but my husband was stuck late at work, so I opted for delivery. I'm an avid sushi fan, and also lazy (especially after a hard days work) so Sushi Go is perfect for me! Since moving to Rowlett in February, I haven't really had luck finding a dependable sushi restaurant. Very happy with this one. Called in my order at 8:00pm (cucumber roll, salmon roll, miso soup, and side salad). The gentleman taking my order was kind and courteous. Took my order and estimated about 30 minutes for delivery. I actually anticipated it being longer because of heavy rain and crazy drivers. 15 minutes after placing my order, the delivery driver was knocking at my door. He was very friendly and immediately complimented my pug who excitedly ran to the doorway. Not only did he bring me sushi, but happily gave my dog ear rubs and made sure he didn't zoom out of the door (which he attempts frequently). Despite the rain and colder weather, he was personable and took the time to make my delivery a memorable one (most other delivery drivers hand over food, take cash, and zoom off). The food: both rolls exceeded expectation. The salmon portion was huge. Both salmon and cucumber were fresh. Good rice to filling ratio. The salad was your typical Japanese restaurant house salad, but with dressing on the side (so as not to make the lettuce soggy). The miso soup was flavorful with chopped onion, seaweed, and spices. Most miso soup orders I've had are delivered as a simple, cloudy broth. This one was perfect for a rainy night inside. Overall, I'm very happy with finding this gem. A restaurant is not only about the food, but about the service as well. Sushi Go has both of these things perfected. I will definitely eat here again. Great price! read more

So, long story short, a group of friends and I really wanted sushi and placed an order for Sushi Go after being told they had really good sushi. Unfortunately, after placing the order on Uber eats (don't recommend) we realized it was placed for not Arlington (where we were), but Rowlett! Uber eats does not go easy on you when you make a mistake so we thought our only option was to make the hour and a half drive out to get our sushi. Once we arrived, we found out Uber eats had cancelled our order because we took too long to get it, it was out of our hands and there was nothing the restaurant could do. So naturally, we placed another order of the exact same thing, since they had gone through the trouble of making the $150 order and we just drove so far in traffic. I want to be so clear when I say, the staff at Sushi Go in Arlington we're very helpful and the staff at Sushi Go in Rowlett went ABOVE & BEYOND. They were helpful and considerate of our situation, they tried to help us find a solution and in the end, gave us 3 free drinks for all our troubles. They made a difficult situation better and got our entire (definitely not small) order 100% correct. That is SO rare when you place a big order. Randy has amazing sushi making skills and Lexi has a very sweet customer service attitude that shows they're happy to serve. Both are very welcoming! My favorite things to order are their spicy ramen, shrimp tempura, red dragon and golden california roll. They recently added a mochi dessert that satisfied my sweet tooth, (the one I ordered was the strawberry bing soo) which was light, fluffy and had several types of textures that worked together to make the dessert well rounded (there was mini mochi balls, Oreo cereal, and Frosted Flakes in mine). My daughter ordered the Oreo one and she can't stop talking about it. I'm not really a soda guy but I love peaches and they have a Japanese peach soda that is very crispy and refreshing, goes well with anything I eat here and I enjoy this drink so much I often come by for just the drink if I'm in the area. My daughter loves the Remu soda that tastes like bubblegum. The interior is decorated in a simple yet elegant way and the aesthetics make it that much more enjoyable to stick around. All seaweed was tough to chew. The place is completely empty. House salad $3 was shredded iceberg lettuce with 4 tiny slices of avocado. The prices are higher than many other sushi restaurants in Rockwall for the quality of sushi. The sales receipt does not show itemized menu items. The edamame was the best thing ordered.
