FOOD Two Sushi Rolls Combo and Nigiri & Sushi Roll Combo: the lunch specials were pretty great deals overall! All the sushi was made fresh with good quality ingredients. No fishiness at all! Presentation was also great! VIBES The interior decorations are really cute! The seating consist of booth as well as chairs and bar seating. There is lots of lighting from the window, which gives it a natural feel. Also, the art is one piece with a combination of Japanese wooden vibes. SERVICE Service is great overall! They were quick to get our order and the food came out quickly. I went around the time that they had just recently opened and the fire alarm kept going off, but they were really nice and apologetic about it.

The newest Thai and Japanese fusion is open in the Sachse area. We had a fantastic lunch here at Yoko. Parking is ample, it's located next to the Premium liquor store off Bunker Hill. In fact, the entire strip is brand new. Interior: the ambiance is stunning. It feels like you've walked into a different city altogether as soon as you walk in. There's a bright, grandiose mural along the back wall that just draws your eyes towards it. What we got: a bit of everything. My combo shrimp, chicken, and beef pad Thai was good. I added chili oil on the side. My husband ordered tons of different sushi's, the sashimi was great. We visited during lunchtime but noticed that the happy hour had some interesting deals so we promised to come back to try the cocktails. Glad to see a new biz already so successful in the burbs!

I am glad I got to check out this new sushi spot! The reviews were spot on... and I have to agree with the other customers. This is a great spot. The decor is nice, service is speedy, and all the rolls I tried were delicious. To my surprise, probably my favorite roll was the Cajun roll. I will definitely be back again.

OBSESSED with this new restaurant! You have to try it. I highly recommend it for date night, family dinner, or happy hour with friends. It's located in a little shopping strip. The restaurant has very unique wall decor. The lighting is very warm. Our service was phenomenal. Our waitress took good care of us and kept our water glasses full and checked in with us throughout our meal to ensure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the spicy garlic edamame. It had loads of flavor. Miso soup came out at just the right temperature. Ginger salad was fresh and in a huge bowl! The Roll 78 was delicious. The spicy basil was okay. Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked. I wouldn't get that again. They have so many options on their menu. They also have a happy hour menu with specials. We look forward to going back.

My bf and I come here once a week and it never disappoints!! We always get the spicy pineapple fried rice and we add chicken sometimes shrimp and we make it extra spicy and we also get the Royce roll And what makes this roll sooo freaking good is that thin lemon slice on top makes every sushi bite delicious I also must add the ambience is great for date night & service is always amazing

Decided to try this new Asian fusion place. Was feeling like soup so got the tom yum soup. My husband ordered his go-to, massaman curry. Both were very thin and lacked much substance, disapointedly. His dish was also small compared to most other Thai restaurants. (We usually have leftovers when we get Thai.) Flavor & spices did not seem very authentic. Server was nice and asked for feedback. We shared, and she said she'd tell the chef. Decor in restaurant is also nice.

Pad See Ew- yellow curry- Tuna Roll! Everything was delicious. Service was amazing! Our first time, but we will be back!

Really enjoyed our meal here! We got the Pad Thai, crab rangoons, crispy shrimp roll, and crispy chicken garlic fried rice, everything was super tasty. My husband loves the sushi! The place has a fun vibe with cool decorations, and the staff was awesome -- super friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

OMG! Found a new sushi spot in Sachse! Ann & her husband, Phillip own the restaurant. She runs the restaurant and serves & Phillip makes the amazing sushi! The ambience is perfect, the decor, and vibe! Ann's personality is so sweet, and she provides excellent service. Right now they are waiting on their liquor license, so it's BYOB. And conveniently, there is a brand new liquor store, next door, to purchase a cold bottle of wine!! The crab rangoons were delicious for appetizer. I ordered the Sachse U sushi. So delicious. Salmon, ahi tuna, and crab. So fresh. My husband had crispy chicken and fried rice. So delicious. Everything was fantastic!! We will be back!! There is a private parking lot, too!

I went here for my birthday dinner with family and got: Royce roll (9/10) Flower roll (8.5/10) Roll 78 (7/10) Poke Bowl (8.5/10 I wish it was bigger) Crispy Chicken with Garlic Fried Rice (7/10) The fish was very fresh and the chicken was fried great, I wish the garlic fried rice was a tad saltier though. The service was great! My server, Athena, was so kind to us and recommended us the Royce and flower which were great. She even gave us free cheesecake for my birthday! The ambiance and decor is great too! I'm too shy to take pictures of the setting, so just trust me.

We saw that it recently opened and went in for dinner on easter Sunday. Everything tasted great. I'm most excited for higher quality nigiri more local to Sachse/Wylie. I generally drive to Plano or Dallas for high quality nigiri. I tried seared salmon, trio seared scallops, and sweet shrimp. It was deliciousss. The price points for majority of the items were pretty reasonable too; especially for appetizers, traditional/basic rolls, and nigiri.

Really disappointed the last three times we have eaten here especially tonight! They served my husband's entree first. Then ten min later, my daughter's roll came out and then My rolls were served 20 min later!!! When I asked about my food, our female server says it was because of all the "to go" orders. Seriously???? You have a great business with good food yet you prioritize "to go " orders over your dine in customers. This will be the demise of your restaurant! Choose one ! To go orders or dine in but you trying to juggle both is not working and what we experience the last 3 visits is that you are not succeeding. We will not be returning most likely because we want to eat as a family at the same time. You have so much potential to be great. But tonight fell really short. Crab Rangoon's were not good and dry and we do not recommend. Cowboy roll was good except for two pieces that were beef fat instead of beef meat.

We had been wanting to try Rumdoul for a while, so it felt like a double treat! Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

Ordered the fried squid and the regular portion of chicken Pad Thai level 2 spice, which came with an egg roll. If you're going to come here for lunch, and don't like eating left over, I recommend getting the lunch portion of chicken pad Thai. The lunch portion comes with a small cute salad, egg roll, and a good portion of chicken pad Thai with the bean sprouts on the side. The fried squid we got was very soggy which was a little disappointing. Then it got more disappointing when whad more fried onions and carrots compared to the amount of fried squid on the serving plate. The chicken pad Thai was ok in my opinion. Not sure what everyone's raving about because my noodles were all over cooked so it was a little difficult to enjoy. I may need to come back here one more time to see if anything changed and to bump up my rating or to see if the food usually like this.

This was recommended by some locals in the park when we were trying to figure out what our next move would be, and we thought -- why not? My husband and I got the soft spring rolls with shrimp and the corn fritters to start, and then we split two entrees: the khao man gai (Thailand's version of Hainanese chicken rice) and the khao soi (yellow curry noodles) with tofu. The fritters were pretty dry/mostly batter, mostly just a vehicle for the sauce they came with. The spring rolls were very loosely packed, so every bite we lost some of the filling to the plate and had to sop it up with our hands. The peanut sauce that came with it was also pretty tasty, though! The khao soi was quite delicious and definitely packed a lot of flavor and heat (we requested level 2 spicy), but it was honestly pretty small portion-wise for an entree, and there weren't a lot of noodles. The tofu was excellent, however. And the chicken breast on top of the khao man gai was super dry and disappointing (I would've vasty preferred dark meat chicken with skin still attached), but the bed of aromatic and flavorful rice is probably one of the best I've ever had. They have the khao man gai rice available as a side and I'd recommend that to anyone who comes here, because it was incredible. The flavorful khao man gai sauce was the only reason we were able to finish the super dry protein on top of the dish. The friend we were with got the pork pad see ew and found the protein there to be pretty tough and dry as well, though the noodles were good. This place is pretty far away from us so we would not go out of our way to return, but if you find yourself in the area and craving Thai, definitely give the khao man gai rice a try.
