I've tried really hard to catch this place on a good day and haven't been able to. The service leaves a lot to be desired, typically I have to flag down a server if I need water or to order something, and the belts aren't well maintained to ensure quality. There's either less than 10 plates on the belt or dozens, and if I sit there for an hour or so, not a single plate is inspected or removed allowing the sushi to become room temperature. With the mix of items available, at least 60-70% of the plates will be some weird fruit sushi or grapes. And if it's not something weird in the rolls like peanuts or fruit, it's filled with cream cheese. Today, the worst offense was how oily every plate was, the soy sauce tray bowls were greasy from not being cleaned properly and the salmon was oily from what I presume was unthawing. When I had touched the salmon, my fingers had a heavy slime on them and, while I chose to eat it, a fishy residue remained in my mouth and on my lips until I washed it off. With that, my stomach is almost always queasy after visiting. I know the prices are great, but this quality of sushi is bound to get someone sick and I would not recommend coming here at all. read more

Really great spot for some quick casual sushi. Been coming here since it opened and moved across town about a year ago. We stopped by today and were really happy. Clean, friendly attentive staff, and good pricing (large Kirins are only $8!). There are several 4 person booths available as well as individual seating all around the belt. The sushi on the line is fresh and varied. They didn't have a plain tuna roll on the line but they were quick to make when asked. It was a very pleasant meal. read more

Similar to when I am craving a terrible for me but emotionally satisfying midnight taco, I'd been craving conveyor belt sushi so I stopped in sushi Hana after doing some holiday errands. After my first three plates of very basic sushi rolls that were all very similar to each other, I realized I had been romanticizing this type of sushi similar to an ex boyfriend. The space and time allowed me to recall just good memories and feelings. But then, I quickly remembered why we broke up quickly after reuniting and indeed confirmed it was a break up for a reason. All the rolls on the belt and the plate basically were fake crab, tiny pieces of either salmon or tuna, and maybe a piece of shrimp or cream cheese. Seriously I would wager at least 75% of the offering had these. The variance of either sauce or baked or not baked being small wild cards but still not an interesting enough menu to return. Disappointments aside, not all was lost today. They quickly made me two orders of seared salmon. Portion of fish was not huge but also not the smallest. They make a roll that has no rice. As a former Keto and now lower carb dieter, this was appreciated. I think it's called the fresh roll, which is rolled in thinly sliced cucumber instead of nori and rice. I would suggest asking for light sauce because the tops of each roll were smothered in way too much sweet mayo stuff. I scooped most off with a chopstick. If the idea of sushi but with less commitment and expense if the most important than this place can help with those. If quality or variety of creative combinations or ingredients is more important than splurge on the 20 dollar rolls elsewhere. This is fake sushi but still has a few okay dishes. read more

It's disappointing that if I want my order right, I have to come in. You can never go wrong with a fairly priced, decently tasting conveyor belt sushi. It's nice for a quick meal and satisfies the sushi craving. The prime time to go is during lunch hours, there was so much sushi on the belt. Their fish quality is pretty good for the price but the rice was just okay today. I really do like conveyor belt sushi, but the quality for this one was sub-par. They weren't too busy and there were lots of options around the belt, but the waitress only came around once to offer drinks and I was waiting for someone to come to take an order from the menu. Hubby and I went for lunch for the first time today. It was an impromptu decision so we didn't really know what we were getting other than hubby wanted sushi. Overall, I'd say the food and service is average. We enjoyed several plates, including fried fish collar that was delicious, and a solid bowl of udon soup. It satisfied the sushi craving, but there's nothing impressive. This is the kind of sushi place you hit up when you want things to be casual, quick and easy; not the place you go to for ambience or dining experience. If I had a friend along who was a sushi noob, had dietary restrictions, or would have a lot of questions, I would not take them here (not enough server support for such things). I appreciated being able to watch the team prepare sushi as I was eating. Everything was fresh while we were there (peak lunch time on a Sunday). Servers could offer more guidance or suggestions, but in these Covid days, finding that level of service is hard anywhere. Glad I know about Sushi Hana now. I've been going to the one by Washington square for years now and I'm so glad that they opened up another location in Tualatin. This sushi bar is a fantastic place to grab a quick bite or just to simply enjoy good & affordable sushi. It's happy hour all day, every day so each colored plate are only $1.85 (green plates are $1.35). Can't complain about that! When I come in, I just usually get stuff off the conveyor belt (best time to come is right when they open, since they are all freshly made and there's a better variety) but you also can order if you don't see anything you like. A conveyor belt that I actually semi-enjoy? What kind of spell did Hana put on me? Sushi Hana is a no frill sushi place that serves your average sushi. I like this place slightly better than others because I actually see the rotation of sushi plates. Goodbye old and stale sushi :) The fact that the place doesn't seat a whole bunch, the conveyor belt is nicely purposed to give fresh plates. One aspect that I appreciate is how their rice is made. The proportion isn't over filling that you're full on rice. The consistency is also nice as I don't have that sticky vinegar taste in my mouth. Overall, sushi is really on par. Every day is happy hour whatever the heck that means. But apparently there's only two prices, $1.80 or $2.10. So you're looking at an average of $1.95 per plate which isn't too shabby. read more

Clean enough with plenty of options on the conveyer. They used to be cheap, but now the pricing is very "fishy" (could not leave that pun hanging). The cheap plates are 2.75 and expensive plates are 3.25. The salmon slices were way thicker than the thin tuna, and spicy salmon had 4 pieces while the similarly sized spicy tuna had 3, probably due to the market prices, but lots of the options didn't make sense for the pricing. Went into this restaurant yesterday to pick up food which I ordered online. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon, and there were four diners eating in. I stood in the front of the restaurant for 10 minutes before anybody acknowledged my presence. Instead of waiting any longer, I gave them my name and said I was there to pick up my order. The "hostess" said the order was "almost ready". The staff walked around that restaurant really slowly, I have never seen anybody move so damned slowly as I saw the chefs and waiters in that restaurant move last night. They strolled around as if they had no sense of urgency whatsoever and didn't give a damn about my time. 20 minutes AFTER they told me my order was "almost ready", I finally had my food.
