It's teriyaki... it's not a cuisine you should ever give 4 or 5 stars to. For what it is, it is good...mediocre... but again, like every other teriyaki restaurant out there. They messed up my order and gave me teriyaki chicken instead of hot and spicy chicken... but again, that has no impact on the rating I gave. They have plenty of Sriracha and teriyaki sauce bottles to fix it. No harm, no foul... it was still good. I also had the egg rolls (more of a spring roll) crispy, cabbage heavy with a sweet dipping sauce... but at 3.95, it proved to be a fairly economical bite! It's a good stop. You know what you'll get... it may not be your first choice, but it works. The lady at the counter was friendly and accommodating.

Disappointing. I really wanted this place to be good, cause it's close to where I work. The "salad" (?) had been cooked, like cabbage. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Chicken was burnt and not very tasty, gyoza had a rather unpleasant taste, and rice was dry. The woman who took my order was very friendly though.

    Beef yakisoba.

Mad Hita is a small teriyaki restaurant next to the new Walmart store. They have beef, pork, chicken, vege, shrimp, salmon, tofu, ribs, rice, yakisoba, ramen, teriyaki, pot stickers, spring rolls. I had beef yakisoba and spring rolls. Yakisoba has lots of noodles and a little bit of beef. They mad it correctly with just enough sauce. The plate only had a hint of sauce and not dripping with excess.

All rice very little meet...tasteless fried rice.

Opted the chicken/beef combo for lunch. 2.25 extra for fried rice was a poor choice...fried rice is flavorless mix of frozen mixed vegetables and rice.... The chicken was dry The beef was ok.

    Chicken Katsu

the katsu was good it was warm and crispy. the teriyaki was amazing and i like the plates they were served on! the ambience is very cozy & nice the music isnt so loud you have to scream. and the staff is kind! i wish they did have some spicy mayo though it would've made my katsu a little better

a piece of food left on a table

Got some food to go today, Chicken Katsu. Had to drive back to work before I started eating it and noticed a thick black hair poking out of the breading. Gross, but whatever, pulled that out. Second piece also had black hair. Third piece I actually took a picture of it still in the chicken. Don't know how this thick black hair was not noticed before frying the chicken, as it was imbedded into the breading. Not sure why such a long hair or so many short hairs made it through a hair net, but gross. Didn't have time to drive back and didn't have time to get something else so I just pulled the hairs out, but I will not be returning to this location. I love the Mashita in King City, though.

    Chicken Teriyaki

The chicken for the katsu was very tasty -- it wasn't dry or pounded too thin and the breading was perfectly crispy. The teriyaki sauce was pretty good too. The rice was dry for our taste and the katsu sauce a tad ketchup-ish. Good prices, lots of seating, friendly staff, and our food came out in a timely manner.

It was busy as there were two servers but the service was a bit slow. Hope they can find some help or rest after the busy day! Mom and I each got two fried foods so we could share and have some for another meal, too. Ebi fry: always good, flakey, and it went well with the tartar-like sauce, tonkatsu: nice thick slices and the batter stayed onto the meat (unlike another place haha). Kaarage: the pieces were a lot bigger than the usual karaage at other places but still good and juicy. Assorted tempura: I liked the assortment as there were quite a lot of veggies and of course the shrimp! We also loved the croquettes as they're so soft and fluffy on the inside and the other side dish with a crunchy texture and the little fried squid (or octopus?) I wish I could order more of those! Can't forget the miso soup as it's not salty at all (unlike the other Japanese restaurants I've been to) and they had different types of tofu inside- delish!

I can definitely appreciate the effort it takes to make ramen, but it's not exactly a well-balanced, healthy dish, more like a hangover cure... With that being said! For me to give Lucky Ramen FIVE stars is a huge feat! My personal number 1 go-to is the Veggie Ramen w/kale noodles, spicy level 3. Dont knock it til you try it! The broth is the true definition of umami, it's savory, filled with enoki mushrooms, bok choy, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and a soft boiled egg. It's nothing short of filling! The kale noodles taste just like regular ramen noodles and to think that it has extra fiber, yes please. If the thought of a dish being vegetarian is a turn off for you, next best option is the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth is flavorful, rich, and they don't skimp on the meat and other ingredients either!
