This place is oddly shaped and makes it difficult to receive help if you come in a group and get sat at a booth. When you walk in you see the front desk, to your left there is a long narrow walk way with the bar seating to your left and then you turn left and that's where two or three booths are. At the booth we were seated at you lose sight of the front desk area. Once we got initial drinks ordered and brought to us we never saw the waitress again. Three times my sister's boyfriend had to go find our waitress to get more water, to order dishes not on the belt and to get our check since they have to count plates. The conveyor belt was 75% empty. It was crazy to me how there was almost nothing on it and there was only one gentleman working on making more sushi. It got busier as we left but we got there just before six and only a handful of people were there at the time. The sushi was not pricey but it was more expensive than most the conveyor belt spots around us. And considering the poor service and lack of options or ability to order more, it felt like a poor experience over all. read more

Ordered a salmon nigiri and it was still frozen!! I also ordered what i believe was an unagi roll and the eel sauce was thick and pasty it just wasn't appealing. Service was mid, the lady who gave me my order i asked her what was on top of the unagi roll and she said eel sauce and then rolled her eyes at me. I was on contract at an office right next to this spot and a work buddy kept insisting that we give it a go. First I tried the take out which was okay. Like, I could eat it but seriously for the prices they are charging it seemed less ok. The next visit, I actually went inside and was just flat out angry. There were three staff members we could see and there were two other customers besides us. This totaled four people eating. The staff ignored us for almost the entire hour we were there. This was bad enough but then the sushi chef started mopping up everything in his area with bleach. I know that it's a go round but there were five plates which looked like they were rotating all day long. Apparently there is no one to get me a refill of lemonade, let alone some food I actually want to eat. And now i am inhaling bleach....okay, thanks bye. We love O'Sushi! The owners remember our names even though we only get to come in every couple of months. The service is quick, friendly, and consistent. We went last week (August 2024) and they'd changed their system a bit - hot rolls have to be ordered instead of readily available on the belt, which I can appreciate in order to make sure it's hot when you eat it - just be prepared to wait a little longer for those rolls. When we went last week, we were the only people there, but the time before that, there wasn't an open spot in the whole place! Prices are super reasonable, the sushi is fresh and so good, and the owners and staff are delightful. I am definitely coming back to O'Sushi again. The price I paid compared to the amount of food, which was good, is amazing. I compared the California Roll of this place to several other places, one other sushi track and two actual sushi restaurants. I was surprised that the California Roll from O'sushi was actually the best and beat out the finer dining sushi restaurants. I got the California Roll 3 pc $2.35, Oregon Roll 4pc $2.65, Tokyo Roll 4pc $2.65, Red Dragon 4pc $2.95, and Salmon roll 6pc $2.35. The California Roll was my favorite at this restaurant because they actually had masago around the outside of the California Roll. The other places opted for sesame seeds. The roll was on the bigger side with a good ratio between rice and filling. The imitation crab had good flavor. The Red Dragon was my favorite out of all the rolls. We were on the last part of a 5hr drive and super hungry. We found this place on our route and stopped in. The lack of customers at 4:30pm on a weekday should have been the first indication, but we gave it a try anyway. The belt was full of food and only one other party in the restaurant. I pulled my first selection, a dynamite roll (supposed to be hot/warm), and it had clearly been sitting at the least but very likely microwaved. I could see by the color of the sauce and the opaque color the rice was taking on. When I asked for a fresh one, they said they'd warm it up for me. When I told them I didn't want it reheated and that I'd like a fresh one, it was clearly a chore they weren't willing to take on for me. They said there are plenty on the belt and they made it all fresh for "the dinner hour". The hamachi was super fishy according to my husband. RED FLAG. The peanuts on the sweet chilli roll we're soggy because the sauce had sat on it so long that it wasn't even visible anymore, save the chilli flakes. The rolls with avocado thinly sliced and laid over the roll were oxidizing amd turning brown. Every hot/warm dish was either cold or already had been microwaved. I watched a guy in the back come out and collect the spring rolls, take them back, warm them up and put them back on the belt. I won't be taking my chances here and recommend the same to everyone reading this. The edamame was fine. Cold, but fine. My husband had no complaints on the salmon but the red tuna looked old and dried. The rice on the reheated plates was crunchy and the attitude of the "service staff" was not customer focused, that's apparent. Almost $100 for about 5 plates each after tip. (4-9 every day) This is the usual sushi bar with a conveyor that allows you to pick "anything you want", however this is still a business and it shows in the selection available to you. The price structure is simple: All yellow plates cost $1.60 USD and the rest cost $2.10. Yellow plates had edamame or seaweed or something really really inexpensive. To be fair and honest, I haven't tried ordering from the menu but I don't have high expectations after tasting the sushi from the conveyor. The service is good, nothing extraordinary and that's somewhat expected if you are sitting at the bar. The selection is not so great but maybe because we arrived (unknowingly) during Happy Hour, where ALL plates cost $1.60. The other plates didn't have a great selection and some included options not so Japanese such as small cheesecake slices or other small fried sweet bread. The owner of this restaurant made my husband pay for his entire meal with absolutely no refund until threatened with leaving a bad review. Had to try on multiple occasions (lunchtime) just to ensure it wasn't an off day, but everything was consistently bad. I've never seen so many employees appearing to work, while almost no dishes are produced and the quality of what does come out is borderline inedible. Cold and mushy hot food, dry rice, texture-less and poorly made rolls, pathetic fish quality (even with low expectations), and just about any other complaint. As of options for Sushi places, this is a decent choice. I have mixed feelings when it comes to Kaiten belts, but my fiancee loves them as we grew up with these in Asia. The service is pretty average with limited hospitality, but still checking in on you once in a while. The price, especially for happy hour, is almost unrivaled as even the most expensive plates are $1.85. The menu is typical of most Japanese restaurants ranging from the basic nigiri all the way up to their own custom rolls. Personally I have some food preferences, and I would've appreciated an ingredients list under the custom rolls to show me what I was getting. Some of the hot appetizers like Gyoza and Spring rolls do circle on the Kaiten belt, but keeping them in plastic covers can turn them a little soft. I would recommend ordering these fresh as they come out much better. For the price of each plate the quality and size of fish is very reasonable. One of the interesting rolls that I have found included Mango and Strawberry which I surprisingly enjoyed. read more

The service and food have seriously went downhill. When they first opened, rolls on the conveyer were good and appeared fresh. Today the rolls were warm and didn't seem recently made. I did pick a few good rolls and was happy with my selection. Until I had a spider join me from the conveyer. He crawled towards me and and when I mentioned it to the staff, she simply grabbed a napkin, reached over my sushi rolls, and squashed the spider. Balled the napkin up and acted like it was business as usual. I immediately asked for the bill and several uneaten rolls on the plates. There was no I'm sorry or let me make you some fresh rolls. However, if you're looking for fresh and fast sushi that won't leave a burning hole in your wallet, then you're at the right place! The unagi (my favorite) is delicious! Yes it's small, but it beats the $2 unagi plate at Sushiland by a long shot and it doesn't have the small bones in it like the aforementioned plate. O'Sushi also makes a variety of unique rolls. If you don't see anything you want on the conveyor belt, just order off the menu to the people working behind the bar, and they'll get it out to you really quick. There's usually a long line waiting to get in during peak lunch hours, so try and come during the off-hours. They currently aren't open for lunch on the weekends, what a bummer :( read more

I come here often and if you want somewhere with reliable hours this is NOT your place they frequently close and aren't open on the weekends crazy enough. I don't ever write reviews but I am frustrated because I have come here many times when it says they are open but they just leave signs saying they will be closed for a week or two at a time. I have been to a few conveyer belt sushi places and I have to say this one was different in a good way! There was a lot of seating all along the sushi belt, and definitely a lot of choices! They come at $1.85 a plate usually unless it's a specialty which obviously would be different in price. Each plate usually comes with 4 pieces, and the slightly bigger rolls are 3 pieces (super awesome for only $2!) The best part is that you get to try lots of different rolls as opposed to a regular sushi restaurant where you order a whole roll and you have to commit to it, you know? They also had a dessert section too. Had the cream puffs! Good stuff! The only thing was that some of the rolled that were fried were a little soggy and not crunchy, but I mean other than that, all the rolls seemed very fresh! We stopped in on a Sunday. It was very busy and we were greeted with warm friendly smiles, and pointed to a clean table. The restaurant is modern, clean and well decorated. The sushi, however, was not good. First, they're producing it in such mass quantities they've got them double and triple stacked on the belt. We were seated in clear sight of the food preparation area, where we saw trays of cut fish sitting out for twenty minutes. The salmon nigiri we pulled off the belt was warm and literally sweating. There's also a high use of a sweet brown sauce (like a sweet oyster sauce) that I found completely unpalatable. This is a great lil conveyor belt sushi place! There were quite a bit of options on the belt, and the place was about full for a Tuesday afternoon, looked like everyone was in their sushi zone, happily content on what sushi was available, as the plates were flying off the conveyor into ones hands quickly, good sign! It's perfect for a quick bite and no ordering required. Though I did order two of their Vegas Rolls, took like one sec for them to fry em up and serve them to me, yay! They were amazing and not greasy tasting at all. Please don't think I'm not cool cause it seems like a lot of sushi rolls I like have imitation crab meat in them...stop judging me. If I had it my way I would and could eat REAL crab every day of my life. But that is not real life and would be cost me my whole 401k in a month, so forget it. The sushi rolls here are comparable to any other conveyor belt sushi place. I like it wayyy better then Hot Pot, a little more better then Sushi Town, and a little less then Sushi Zen. I was in by myself one late afternoon for lunch. 3:45 to be exact. It was not crowded. The belt was half empty. Three sushi chefs were making stuff behind the counter. They weren't putting whatever they were making on the belt. Happy hour ( all plates $1 in February after 5 until 6 I think) hadn't started. Maybe they were getting ready? I found things to eat. One lonely plate of salmon went by, I snagged that. I got a plate of tempura ( two shrimp, a broccoli florette, a carrot slice and a zucchini slice). It was cold. The server brought me warm dipping sauce which was nice. I also got a rainbow roll ( 3 pieces), a California roll, and another dude asked for calamari so when they brought his out plus more I got a fresh warm one. It tasted quite good. My hot tea was very nice. I was offered a refill. No sushi chef asked me if I wanted anything until near the end ( I think it goes better if you sit right in front of them). My plates were $1.75 because it wasn't happy hour. I liked my sushi rolls. Order the hot things special so they are hot. You will have to ask for things, I saw no inari or sunomono on the belt.
