Place is very clean, food was hot and fresh and prob one of the best All You Can Eat sushi/hibachi spot. Nice size portions and the prices are decent for the amount of food you can get. $24.99 per adult 12 years and older. $14.99 for kids 12 and under. The buffet lunch is $15.99, so that's about $20 per person with tax and tips included. Unlike Lin Buffet, this is table service all-you-can-eat! Service was excellent. We ordered three times. It's a bit of a learning process if it's your first time here because you have no idea how much food each order comes with. Hibachi comes with a full plate. Sushi comes with one single (tiny) piece. Gyoza comes with four dumplings. Spring rolls come in twos. A sushi roll is one roll cut into 6-8 pieces. Oh, it's not on the menu, but you do get a cup of ice cream as dessert! With a 20 min wait, like all knowledgeable restaurant goers, you review the menu prior to be seated. BEWARE !! ONLY TAKE OUT Menu is available and all pricing is ONLY for TAKE OUT. We get seated in order three rolls and an order of edamame.. Edamame comes out, 2 of the 3 rolls 5 min later and the 3rd most expensive roll 10 min after first two. We're wondering why the portions are so small but hey every restaurant is different. Time to check out and I see $24.99 x2 for all you can eat sushi bar. Although the menu lists prices for individual items, surprise! It's ONLY all-you-can-eat. This critical detail is revealed exclusively via a handwritten sign at the front that looks like it was completed during a fourth-grade arts-and-crafts break. Now, no one has stated it's ONLY ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi. Even when we pointed to specific items on the take out menu to order, no clarification was offered while waiting. However, after reading reviews regarding very questionable business practices ( I.e... if you have a group of people, if ONE person gets the buffet EVERYONE is charged the buffet price. Stopped in on the recommendation of my coworker who is also a fan of sushi and lives close to the area. Its a smaller restaurant located at the end of the shopping plaza behind Carrabba's on the Carlisle Pike. We've never been to an all you can eat sushi place aside from the rotating sushi bar Kura in DC so we didn't know what to expect. Went in around 12:30pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately with a friendly waitress who explained how it all worked. She took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. We ordered 2 rolls each time which seemed like a good pace so you don't over eat. There is a charge for excessive left over food so only order what you can eat. (But it is unlimited so its not an issue to keep ordering) Food was brought out at a good pace so we didn't feel rushed and our waitress checked back each time we were done to see if we wanted more or if we needed anything. Food wise its a step above buffet sushi but a step lower than a sit down fancy sushi restaurant. Portions are smaller but you can sample a lot more without breaking your wallet. They also have hibachi entrees, appetizers and salads if raw fish isn't your thing, all included in the price. Lunch is only served week days Mon-Fri so we had the dinner menu which was a slight price increase but more selections. We plan on going back in the future to try more rolls and the hibachi offerings read more

The place used to be Outback Steakhouse. Actually it appears that the booths and tables are being used as is since Sushi Heaven took over. We were seated near the corner in the back, so we basically toured the entire restaurant. Somehow the place looks bigger than I had expected. There are just 2 prices you can spend per person: $15.99 for a weekday lunch buffet or $23.99 for dinner or weekend buffet. This review is for the former. Unlike most buffets where you go get your own food, this is table service where the wait staff takes your individual orders as many times as required until you're full and done. I appreciate and prefer it this way for a number of reasons. First, you feel you're being served. Second, food presentation is better. Finally, food somehow tastes better because you are somehow less of a glutton with table service. As mentioned, orders are tracked per individual. So if I order 3 different sushi and my wife orders 4 other sushi, the orders would come in 2 plates for these 2 combinations of sushi and I would know which plate is mine. It also appears that all dishes are made to order. So spring rolls were piping hot, and so were the hibachi steaks. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the food and experience. Interesting sort of buffet where you don't go get food, but place as many orders as you wish. They offer a variety of foods from sushi to hibachi, along with a selection of desserts and such. It sounds cumbersome, but the service is fast, efficient, and friendly enough. Be warned, however, that they do have a policy to prevent food waste stuck right to the tables -- they charge extra if you order food you don't eat so they can keep waste costs down -- but some folks are still inclined to argue about it with the staff. I've heard the location used to be an Outback, and the prior use is still evident in the decore. It's a no-frills sort of place but isn't uncomfortable and is quite clean for the volume of patrons they serve. It's a solid place to get some food for a fixed price. So the other day (recently) we had dinner here. There was a young man that was a server that was coughing all over the food he was serving. I saw him, get the food carry it and cough on it. Of the many things we ordered to try, the best was the crab rangoon- the filling was yummy and the skins were super thin and crispy. We ordered 3-4 times until we couldn't eat any more. The spring rolls and fried dumplings were directly off from the fryer and the steak directly from the hibachi. I hate to drop this but our last visit was meh at best. We dropped in to pick up gift cards for Christmas, decided to get lunch while there, and almost changed our minds about the gift cards. The service was slow. We were given wrong dishes (even though we only ordered 1-2 things at a time and she entered it directly into her tablet). The rolls were actually pretty sloppy and much smaller than in the past. The fish often was warm and made me wonder how long it sat out. The super fresh fish flavor you expect from sushi just wasn't there. The wasabi tasted like cleanser. Not at all like normal wasabi. I refused to eat it because of the smell. Hubby tried and eventually stopped. When we wanted to order more, we had to flag down our server. We ordered things only 1-2 at a time to make sure we didn't waste food by over ordering. We often saw them all standing around talking at one of their server stations. What should have been a nice light and quick lunch took a very long time. There is no way we could have done this on a work lunch break. Thank goodness we both had the day off. I'm not sure what changed but I'm not nearly as impressed as I was the first few times I went. Maybe it's because this was the first time we went for lunch. I don't know. We went ahead and purchased the gift cards for our kids ($50 each so they can bring a guest for dinner) but it was really a hard decision. For the actual raw fish, we know the movie Finding Nemo, but this is a spin off story called FINDING TUNA. The raw fish was sliced so thin in these rolls, not to mention questionable (odd colors and textures), I would barely call these tuna cuc avodado rolls, just veggie rolls. This is a consistent issue with most of the rolls. The best thing on the AYCE menu was definitely the yellowtail tuna appetizer which I ordered at least 6 times. The place is pretty big as sushi restaurants go. So the wait was zero and you weren't sitting on top of the person next to you. But...the rolls lacked any kind of pizzazz. They were all pretty safe and standard offerings. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality but again nothing that would draw me back when I come back in town. There were many rolls to choose from but nothing that would wow you in my opinion. Also the other items offered on the all you can eat were plentiful.
