Something has changed. The fried rolls (fuji, ninja, etc) are much larger AND all rolls we ordered were covered in sauce, the same sauce, much more than just a decorative drizzle. It's still my favorite sushi place but I want the owner to know a change has been noticed and it's not a good change. read more

We tried Sushi House because it had popped up as a place recommended for me to try. We started with the edamame. Then we tried 3 sushi rolls: fried California, the cowboy, and the Texas. Met a friend for lunch. It's a cute place, nice decor, comfortable seating. The food was pretty good, but portions were off. The rice balls were impossible to eat without breaking them up into pieces. The rolls themselves had a few really big pieces as well, making it hard to eat without the rolls falling apart. The spicy crab salad was pretty good. The ocean roll was my favorite out of the two, the mango gave it a nice fresh crunch. The biggest downside was service. Our server was very out of place, as evidenced by the huge serving of wasabi when we asked for some wasabi because neither of our plates came with any, or any ginger. He was nice enough, but didn't seem familiar with theme or even being a server. But we didn't have huge issues, it was just an odd experience. It's not the best sushi I've had by car, but they do have a big selection of rolls and other items, and it's very reasonably priced. read more

The place was almost empty when we reached around 7pm. I was deciding between sashimi or teriyaki chicken and went with chicken. Decided to get prime tuna nigiri too. The tuna was stringy and I couldn't bite it apart. My husband got ramen. Was a red flag when the option was either chicken or shrimp but it was only $9. It tasted like a cheap packet of ramen. I decided to try Sushi House because of the assortments of salad available. This place seems to have the most out of all the sushi restaurants around Tulsa. I just love the special salads available at sushi restaurants and to me this is the main feature that separates them apart. Side note: My favorite salad is from Wasabi in San Antonio, TX called spicy sashimi avocado salad - my mouth just filled with saliva from just mentioning it. Anyway, Sushi House is not as big as I thought it would be. It's decent size, on the smaller scale in terms of sushi restaurants. A little short on staffs as hiring sign is posted outside but service was good nevertheless, a little delay during busy hours. Sushi House has the sashimi salad which I added avocado to it to make sashimi avocado salad. The salad comes with Ponzu sauce with is a sweet soy sauce. They give so little sauce and I had to ask for extra. The sashimi is cut in big chunks, good variety. However, because if the thick cut, some pieces taste fibrous which is not great for sashimi. I would prefer thinner cuts to avoid this fibrous meat. It's miles apart from the spicy sashimi avocado salad mentioned above but this is closest I could find around Tulsa. For the roll, I went with the one I feel is the most unique which is the Hawaiian roll which has mango slice in it. It does have raw white tuna which is great. The roll was good. I feel like when it comes to sushi, most places are similar and again it's the special salads that distinguish them apart. I would give Sushi House 3.5 stars for having many salad options and some unique sushi rolls. read more

Pretty good spot! IMO there are better places in broken arrow for sushi but there is nothing wrong with sushi house. The ambiance is clean, well decorated, great for lunch or dinner and the service was Wonderful. If you are debating trying it, just give it a shot. This place is not high end, but it has amazing and most importantly affordable sushi! Great choices, and deals on rolls, buy 4; get one free. My daughter and I can enjoy many different rolls and pay half the price of other sushi locations. The staff is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. All the rolls we have tried have been outstanding. There are also plenty of "normal" menu items to keep people who don't appreciate sushi happy (my wife). This keeps us coming back time and time again. This place is a Must try. read more

When you finally get your food it is good, if they get the order right. The service is non existent at this place. No drink refills unless you can find your waitress. Same excuse..."the kitchen is running behind". Forty-five minutea after ordering the appetizer never arrives and two of four meals is not what was ordered. This is a quality sushi restaurant. I had the Sashimi sampler, which was phenomenal. As I was ordering, I was thinking of getting a miso soup, but decided against it to save money. Lo and behold, they gave me a miso with my order! I ordered to-go by the way. My friend got some kind of jalapeno popper filled with crab, which looked tasty, but I didn't try any as I do not eat shellfish for religious reasons. So if you are in the Broken Arrow area, I would definitely recommend stopping by sushi house for some delicious sushi! I also want to add that as I was eating my meal across the street, I ran out of wasabi and ginger. I went back into the restaurant and the owner gladly gave me another wasabi and ginger without hassle. I hope to be able to go to Sushi House Broken Arrow again! read more

It's so good it has California roll with scallops, mussels, imitation crab, shrimp, octopus, masago, crawfish, mushroom, green onion, baked sauce. It comes warm and is one of my favorites. After looking over some Yelp! reviews in the Tulsa metro we decided on this venue. We were not disappointed! This is a smaller locally owned operation and it shows. There isn't anything fancy about the parking lot, the building or décor when you go inside. I am okay that. When you first walk in there is a small podium and we were promptly greeted and seated and the hostess, also our server, quickly got us our drinks. Customer service here was spot on. Like really, the nice lady taking care of us did a great job! They offer quiet a few specialty type sushi rolls here which I like. They all have cheesy names like the Tulsa, Texas, Tiger and so on. To be expected right? Well, they have a deal if you buy at least 3 rolls they will give you their Fuji roll. Deep fried roll with amazing cream cheese flavor! If you spend up to $60 they will give you a lobster roll. I didn't order enough to enjoy the lobster roll, but the Fuji roll was rather tasty! So overall, great place to visit, delicious food, rather reasonable prices and excellent service. I would like to give this spot 5 stars but the interior was a tad dingy, not horrible, but not great. This is really the only thing that kept it from getting all 5. A solid 4.5 really. Check this place out. I think you'll enjoy it!!!! read more

When my husband and I first pulled up we thought the place was closed. All the windows were boarded up and hand written notes on pieces of paper were all over the building as if the place was abandoned. (Later realized the boards on the windows are to keep the sun out of the restaurant and keep it cool inside) I wanted to leave but my husband decided to get out of the car and check. The door was open so we stayed and went in for lunch. The inside is decorated quite nicely with a simple Asian feel. There are paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling, Asian pictures and newspaper clippings of the business along the walls, lots of tables and the usual sushi bar set up with seating to get a close up of your food being made. The waitress we had was very attentive and did her job nicely refilling drinks and checking on us during our time there. We started with the gyoza appetizer while we took our time looking at the menu (the menu and sushi roll choices are pretty large) it didn't take to long to come out and when it did it was hot and the dipping sauce that came with it was very tasty and flavorful. When we finally made up our minds on what rolls to order (see pics and names) we actually ordered enough to receive our choice of the free fugi roll or the lobster roll. We chose the lobster roll. Hello, lobster, enough said. It was quite tasty, a little fishy because of the lobster but very good none the less. I could also tell it was real meat not that imitation crab you get at some places. We were pleased with our choice and would order it again. While we were waiting for our rolls to be made we got a hold of the waitress to order something else to drink since the water tasted funny. You could tell it was tap water because it had a faint aftertaste to it. My husband got a sweet tea which he really liked and I ordered a bottle of blue moon, my orange slice came on a separate plate (how cute). It was good and cold. Our order arrived and we dug in, trying all the different rolls. Some we liked and some we really liked. The rolls were all pretty small, but made well and had good flavor. We usually go to Sushi Train where we are used to bigger rolls so we are a little spoiled when it comes to that :) but the sushi was still good and if we are on that side of town would definitely pop in there again. The waitress tended to us periodically and made sure all was well with us from the beginning to the end. We left full and satisfied and were not disappointed with the meal we had at the Sushi House! doesn't respect it's staff. the waitresses are not getting the tips you give them, the tips get pooled together and the rest of the workers who make above minimum wage get 30% of the waiting staffs tips. on top of that the waiting staff gets very little respect and aren't treated fairly. not to mention the handling of food is not done well; workers touch food with their bare hands, most don't even have a food handlers permit. also half of the time the sushi rolls are falling apart and you can't even eat them. this place does not care about you or it's workers, all the owner cares about is making a buck by any means. read more

Excellent restaurant! This is the only sushi place my best friend and I truly enjoy eating at. Their rolls are superb, their soy sauce is homemade (regular soy sauce just doesn't cut it anymore) you get a free Fuji roll when your table orders three rolls or places an order of $60, you can make reservations (which is a great idea because the restaurant is packed, especially on weekends), and they have been most careful/compliant with the COVID regulations (they ask that you use hand sanitizer before you enter the restaurant and they also provide hand sanitizer at every table, plus they practice social distance). The service is always attentive and friendly. We always order the Crab Cakes as our appetizer - their homemade sauce is perfect for them. The Texas, Ocean, French Kiss, Eldorado, Miracle, and Fuji rolls are our favorite. The only thing that we don't like is their soda fountain as it's unbalanced and the drinks are terrible, but we don't go there for the drinks anyway. Sushi House definitely has the best sushi in the BA/Tulsa area. read more
