Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately the service and cleanliness were both concerning. We experienced multiple order errors, including items that were brought incorrectly and never corrected after we requested them again. Drink refills were difficult to obtain, dirty plates were not cleared from the table, and overall service was poor throughout our meal. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also a concern. Upon arriving at opening time for dinner, the women's restroom had no soap available for handwashing, the wall soap dispenser was broken, the paper towel dispenser was broken and sitting on the counter, and the restroom appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Several chairs in the dining area were sticky and transferred residue onto our hands when moved. Additionally, we observed a child behind the sushi counter and in the kitchen area throughout most of our visit performing various tasks, which raised concerns for several members of our party. I'm not a fan of the all you can eat sushi concept because I never really seem to get my money's worth as I am more a small portions kind of eater. I had a variety of sushi pieces, some crab rangoon, and some Chinese noodles. Everything was okay - it wasn't the best sushi I've ever had, but it wasn't terrible either. I'd put it on par with grocery store sushi (and sometimes the Harris Teeter folks do better I would say). My oldest didn't get nearly the price we paid for him as he only ate a handful of steamed shrimp. You order from the menu and servers bring the food and clear as you finish. It is hard to know what to choose from the menu but once you find what you like they can keep it coming. All the appetizers were fried because it tasted like everything was frozen. Hibachi beef was okay. Definitely do not get the sushi as all of the fish tasted frozen or lower quality. As a person who is trying to find the sushi I enjoy, this was a perfect place. The low cost allowed me to try so many options and share with family. The non sushi options we tried were the crab Rangoon, spring rolls and fried rice. All of which was pretty tasty. We tried about 8 different rolls from the menu. This included the dragon roll, veggie roll, California roll, shrimp tempura, monkey roll, and a few others. The dragon roll was the clear winner of group and we were pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of the monkey roll. Overall a cleanly place but the menus were a bit sticky. Visited Sushi King today when it opened at 5:00pm. Great timing as it was empty and service was quick. Our waitress was initially very sweet, but as we kept ordering, she became a bit rude with some of her comments: "wow, you're really hungry?!" "You want more?!" and getting our follow up orders incorrect. Food quality was good and the flavor was typical of Sushi King. I gave a lower rating because of our server's comments and reactions to our ordering. Also, after asking for our check, we asked for an additional menu item found on the children's menu. This year my husband chose to try this restaurant. I looked at the reviews prior and it was hard to read some of them. I needed up reporting some of them since it clearly was written by a disgruntled employee. I then saw reviews about people stating they felt ill after they ate. In the end as I normally do I try to go in giving them a chance regardless of what the reviews say, it's only fair. When we arrived we were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress brought us our drinks then took our orders. It was a rare moment that we were not attended too. The food came out pretty quick. My husband enjoy all his sushi. Not major complaints. He referred it to as unlimited grocery store sushi. Dessert is very limited here, atleast when we went. There is an icecream machine but the chocolate side was done. There are cups as well but it was the very small paper bathroom cups. I felt that was a joke honestly. Right next to a storage facility and is kinda awkward to get to on the opposite side of the road. The rolls were kinda small and loosely packed but can't complain because it's AYCE and if you are really craving more...just order more! There's a cold bar with seaweed salad, crab salad, kimchi, etc. A dessert bar with mixed fruits, cheesecake, chocolate and an ice cream machine! We were welcomed at the entrance and taken to a table, given drink and food menus and told we can help ourselves to anything that was already out in the salad bar. This included a range of items, from seaweed, cucumber, kani, squid salad, slices of black pepper tuna and salmon sashimi rolls. Order as much as you can eat from the menus - the chef's special rolls are my personal favorite, but beware, do not over order as you may be charged for what you don't eat! On top of all the greatness that comes in the shape of food, they also offer military discount. 10% discount is greatly appreciated. Please note, there is an 18% service charge is added to your bill if your party is 6 or more. The staff here are lovely and so helpful, attentive and very sweet. I couldn't operate the ice cream machine for some reason so one of the chefs came over without me asking for help and helped me out. As an all-you-can-eat with such a low price, it was an easy decision to at least check the place out. They have quite the selection of items from their menu and a few buffet style choices. I'd personally suggest ordering two items initially and placing your next order upon delivery if you intend to continue eating. The food comes out quickly and in smaller portions to give you the opportunity to try a variety of things - without overstuffing yourself or leaving a bunch of waste. The staff has always been friendly and continues to check on you while your eating to ensure you're satisfied and see if you need to order more. We've mostly chosen items from the menu, and have always been pleased with our selections. My only suggestion would be to brighten up the place. It feels a tad bit dreary - like it's about to close. My husband and I eat got a Las Vegas Roll (super good) and some sort of hibachi (he actually got 2 hibachi steaks and I got a teriyaki shrimp).
