It was also ready in 15 minutes. Nice gentleman took my order and everything was included in my to-go order including my extra sauces. Oh my! This place is surprisingly good! I ordered the hibachi steak and chicken, and hibachi combination noodles. They are both exceptionally great similar to Beni Hana but take out. The rice was seasoned just right along with tender chicken breast. The noodles is legit and worth every penny. I pass this place everyday to work and had to finally try it. I was really excited to find a hibachi restaurant so close to my new place. The experience started as a positive one: my daughter and I entered the restaurant, the only customers at the time, and I was greeted politely, and I ordered my food. My toddler and I waited to be served, and over the course of what must have been 5-7 (maybe ten) minutes, four to five military service men came in and ordered at the counter the same way I had. Before too long, I started to see plates delivered from the kitchen to the cashier, and then, much to my surprise and astonishment, this lady, one by one, delivered food to EACH of these service men as my 4 year-old and I watched them be served. After she served the first or second customer that ordered AFTER me, I asked, "Are either of those mine?" to which she replied, "no, one minute." Then, she proceeded to serve ALL four or five of the other customers, and Another customer who walked in as the first men were being served (this customer, at least, was a call in order). Soon after, the restaurant cleared and there sat me and my daughter...waiting...just as we had before the slight influx of customers that came in after us. AFTER, the restaurant was clear, this woman only THEN advised me that my order was ready...to which I replied, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!You LITERALLY served everyone that came AFTER me, BEFORE ME!" She looked back at the cook, smirked, and then continued to bag up my food as though I was just meant to ACCEPT this BLATANT mistreatment and disregard/disrespect!!!! Suffice it to say, I IMMEDIATELY assumed this was RACIALLY MOTIVATED...because what OTHER reason makes sense?! (I'm a Melanated woman with a half-Asian daughter...perhaps that upset them?? IDK). She claimed it's because different cooks were working on my order but there's NO WAY that I'm eating ANYTHING prepared by someone that doesn't have enough respect for me to dignify me with prompt service! The place is cute and not the biggest but it is clean and nice. The cashier was nice and quick about business. The food is bomb!!! Oh my goodness. We found our new spot. We both got a hibachi entree. I got the scallops and he got the chicken/shrimp. The hibachi portions are nice because they're big! Overall for the price and quality of the food, it's great. Pleasantly surprised! Exceeded our expectations!! They are taking exemplary safety precautions due to Covid. The food was ready very fast and stayed hot. Great customer service. Excellent tasting food. Not too greasy and not too sweet. When you see hibachi and teriyaki comes with fried rice, don't expect fried rice like you might see at a Chinese restaurant with peas and carrots. It's more like sticky rice. It was very delicious. The portions were huge. It's a good value for what you pay. We will certainly have left overs for at least one more meal. If you get a hibachi or teriyaki entree, it comes with rice, it doesn't come with noodles. I'd recommend adding a side of noodles because they are freakin delicious! Today I went to Hibach Express for lunch. I called my order in. I ordered L8. chicken and shrimp and I payed for extra rice and veggies..guess what I didn't get..extra veggies. As I arrived I payed for my order..as I was waiting the manager came and fussed at the cook for putting extra veggies in my box..I am looking as he's (the manager) taking the veggies and the food off of my plate. After I payed for it and gave them an extra tip as well. I asked to make sure that my plate had what I ordered. As I arrived home and checked my plate he took the food off of my plate! How or why did you take the food off of my plate?!! I payed for that terrible customer service and I drove very far to come to your restaurant. Now I decided to call back to talk the manager as opened my plate. The lady on the phone who answered and took my order was very very rude! (normally it's a very sweet young lady..where is she;she is so pleasant.) any who as I called back and talked to the lady and I let her know that I wanted to speak to her boss..she says he's busy and hangs up on me!!! I called back I let her know how rude that was to hang up on a customer! she said what do you want?!? I said I would like to speak to your supervisor and not you. you just hung the phone up on me! finally the manager gets on the phone I explained the situation and he said she didn't charge me for the veggies..I said she didn't put the extra in there. he said next time I'll give you 10% off. So what did I pay extra for? This was a very terrible experience..especially since I come there quite frequently with my children and the young lady who is normally there is so friendly to my family and I.
