I've been 4 times now. Each time was better than the time before. Feels like they really hit their stride now. I'd recommend ordering off of the specials board. I loved everything I tried(spanish mackerel, amberjack/kanpachi, barracuda - which I never had and now it might be my favorite). Get an Echigo beer too! read more

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The food itself was very basic -- nothing memorable, nothing that stood out. But what really ruined the visit was the service. The staff weren't outright rude, but they might as well have been, because they completely ignored us most of the time. It felt like we weren't even there. Getting anyone's attention was a struggle, and waiting for simple things like water or placing an order took way too long. For the prices they charge, the least they could do is provide decent service and halfway decent food. Unfortunately, Sushi Mamba failed on both. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

A new sushi place in town! Super fresh. All the rolls were delicious and a few had a nice kick to it. The guys were super friendly and nice. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance . Amazing! Let's talk about QUALITY sushi!! This sushi place is hands down the best I've ever been to and I've eaten a lot of sushi. The menu is unique and creative. Who can say they have had asparagus or garlic chips in or on top of a roll? I can! Because they have that here. The service is fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. Also for us health paranoid peeps who are conscious of where their food comes from... this restaurant tells you if the fish is farm raised or wild caught. I mean never have I ever been to a sushi restaurant who openly shares where their fish comes from. Also! Also! One of my biggest peeves with restaurants is their water. Can we give a big 5 stars for having filtered water!! I cannot stand drinking unfiltered water at restaurants like cmon. This restaurant has filtered water. Ummm... thank you!! Also! Definitely a must for sushi lovers!!! They have all the favorites + a unique specially menu that had me in awe! We tried the mamba and chingon rolls and were very impressed! The beers were cold, the dessert was delish and the fish was fresh. The waiter was really attentive, informative and friendly!! The atmosphere was modern and creative, definitely was a VIBE. I wish I was able to talk about their food but we left before ordering after 30 minutes of waiting. We went there on a Weekday around 2 PM. There was only one other table and it took 10 minutes to get our water. Our 2 year old son was hungry and after waiting 30 minutes for the server to take our order we walked out. I've been in the restaurant industry for years and would understand if they were super busy. The other table had just gotten their food and we were the only ones waiting. I hate to leave a bad review but hope this makes them more attentive. We live close and we were excited to try the food but that was super disappointing and would be the last place we would go now. read more

Came in on a Friday night, about 1.5 hours before closing. Small, cute, cozy spot. We sat in the back corner, and really felt forgotten about TBH. I feel like if customers are at the bar, you're out of sight=out of mind to the server. I think they need to have 2 people always rotating. I had to flag them down for everything lol. Overall, food was ok, I wish there were photos on the menu for the sushi. I'll likely try it again, but not too soon. Still seems new-needs to work out the kinks. I wish them the best! read more

The Menu was great with classic dishes with some fused with a hint of Mexican flare! Had a couple bottles of saki, great ! Well done !! Is all I can say !!! It was about 2:00 and wife says well I know you not cooking tonight, let's see how it travels ! So we ordered Salmon, eel, yellowtail and tuna. I noticed on the menu they had Vegetable fried rice, really, it was great, plenty of veggies. Finally I saw, are you ready? Churros and ice cream !! At a Sushi bar ! We asked ... Tom and Mike how they were? They replied , great, family recipe !!! Needless to say, we have a new favorite sushi bar, even better it's 5 minutes away ! came in around 6 pm, was seated very quickly and Juliette quickly got us waters and started with our appetizers. the food came quickly and everything was delicious. i ordered the 24k roll and the pork belly fried rice. the pork had a smokey sweet flavor and the roll was creamy with a slight kick of heat. the music in here is very vibey, playing classic rock. sitting here eating and observing the sushi chef having casual conversation with the guests at the bar. welcoming environment. food is reasonable priced and delicious. service is kind and fast would definitely come back read more
