They were ok, only came with 5 pieces And ordered 3 orders of California roles. Each were cut into 8 pieces. You could get this anywhere and not know the difference seriously. We searched for the best sushi in the area and found Dada Sushi--and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. We sat at the bar, which made the whole experience even better--we got to watch all the beautifully crafted rolls come out and chat with the chef, who gave us great recommendations. One thing that really stood out is how customizable everything is. I've never been to a sushi spot where it felt this easy (and encouraged) to build your own roll. We ordered the beef teriyaki roll, tuna lovers roll, and a custom shrimp tempura roll with cream cheese inside, deep fried, topped with avocado and spicy tuna--so good. It's not strictly traditional if that's what you're after, but it's incredibly creative and thoughtfully put together. Both were delicious but would have preferred the corn tortilla to be fried. Service was ok; we had to ask for wasabi and ginger; teriyaki sauce and napkins. The atmosphere was really nice. Anyway, this is the go to place in the Temecula Valley for sushi. Specialty is Blue Fin Tuna, the Chutoro tonight was to die for. I also love their seared hamachi and spicy tuna with crispy rice. The rolls are fabulous including the Ono Lovers Roll and Ocean Lobster Roll. I wish they had a Wagyu Beef roll but beggars can't be choosers ;-) Bento Boxes are great, love their seared love the miso soup. Sitting at bar is fun, sushi chefs are top notch and will give you the off menu stuff. A great neighborhood sushi joint! Corkage is $15 and they have my favorite sale by the bottle: Kikushui. Ordered from Uber Eats on 11/1/25. Food arrived pretty quickly with plenty of side sauces, ginger and wasabi. We got the Mama Fe, Yuzu Salmon, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, and Sunday morning rolls. We liked the Sunday morning roll the most. The tuna, salmon, albacore, avocado and asparagus combo was pretty unique and so were the toppings (Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, Special Baked Sauce). The staff was very friendly, and even though the place was packed, the service was impeccable. I ordered their ocean lobster roll, and to my surprise, there were huge chunks of lobster in the roll. It had a nice helping of spicy tuna on top. This restaurant is a must try. The karaage was probably the least traditional I've ever seen, more akin to popcorn chicken you'd see at a boba shop than the crispy breaded karaage I've seen elsewhere where. The service was nice a little rushed to take our order but im sure they were just making sure we were taken care of. We ordered baked mussels....THEY WERE THE BEST IVE EVER TASTED! Definitely a different take on them. It's good order it. I also ordered the Alaskan i loved the freshness and buttery salmon, yuzu salmon was delicious the inside tempura salmon and avocado was amazing , then I ordered Imperial and they did it right the eel was delish and they didnt over saturate any of the sushi with sauce so the fish was still tasted and appreciated. Ok then why did I give a 4 it wasn't because of food at all because im coming back to get more sushi thats for sure! It was two things when we got the menu the whole menu prices were blackened! No prices was known for anything which threw me off. Obviously they have to be getting new menus right? Sushi is great. Everything else like donburi, ramen, etc expect middle of the road. Its a sushi place primarily. I wouldn't go here for other things. Service can be slow sometimes when it's busy but not egregiously so. They are fair, give extra when something else has gone wrong, kind, make ordering easy and food is good and displayed great. It seems its korean & japanese restaurant though but thats pretty typical for a lot of Japanese restaurants here. Sushi is 11/10. Quality fish they get is amazing, the crispyness of eel topping is always stellar, I fall in love everytime. Let's just say that my kids have enthusiastically proclaimed this our new "sushi spot", effectively replacing Hana Sushi in their eyes. From the garlic edamame, miso soup, to my Salmon Carpaccio and the kids' California rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed every sip and bite. My favorite in particular was the miso. My daughters favorite as well. I am a big fan of my dishes being packed with savory flavor and that soup did not disappoint. My salmon carpaccio was beautifully prepared and presented. I loved the taste as well. Very hard to always like as I have tried this in different restaurants. But it was good here! You can't tell from the dish -but they placed the pieces of salmon on a halved peeled orange. And while I don't typically like sweet in my non dessert dishes, I was pleasantly surprised by my ability to see past that on this dish and enjoyed the oranges in carpaccio sauce as well. This is probably the best sushi bar in Murrieta/Temecula. The restaurant has a wide variety of fish that you don't normally see in this area, which makes for a more authentic experience. I recommend sitting at the bar and ordering from their special menu which can be seen on the blackboard to the right of the bar. As I said, there are a wide variety of choices. During my last few visits, I've ordered items such as Kinmedei, Aji, Toro, Uni, Hotate, and more. The Kinmedei is especially good, and you can't really beat the taste of Hokkaido Uni, which as many have already said, taste like the ocean. Most of these are a bit on the pricey side though. The Aji and Hotate are around 8.00 each for two pieces of nigiri, and the other items are easily twice as much. One item though, however, that wasn't worth the price were the Kumamoto oysters, which weren't served as they were, but instead loaded with soy sauce and other seasonings. It still tasted good, but I prefer my oysters more pure/ fresh. I should have probably made that clear though when I ordered. Anyway, this is an overall great sushi bar. The sushi chefs are all very knowledgeable and have decent skill at the craft. I recommend sitting at the bar so that you can talk to them and learn more about the fish and technique involved. I don't think you'd be disappointed. ^*They also have an Omakase which I've been meaning to try. Apparently there are 21 courses involved, which seems well worth the 100+ price tag. We tried a variety of sushi, sashimi, oysters, Japanese beers, and house cold sake, all of which were delicious. Our server, Eugene, took great care of us; he was friendly and helpful with his recommendations. The restaurant reminded me of a local sushi place in Japan. They have a sushi bar where you can sit at the counter and watch the sushi chef create their masterpieces. We loved the restaurant so much that we returned for lunch a second time. Our server, Desiree, was wonderful; she ensured our orders were correct and answered all our questions. They also have great lunch specials, and all their beers are imported from Japan! We sat with a toddler, and our server was so kind and patient with her. She even went out of her way to give her a piece for training chopsticks since my niece wanted to be like the grownups and use them. We ordered chicken karaage and edamame as appetizers, and both were very yummy. My sister got a very flavorful ramen and a side of vegetable tempura that was light and crispy. The rest of us got sushi, and I wish I could remember the exact rolls we all got because I would recommend them again. The staff sat our party of three at a cozy booth, they were very kind and attentive during our entire meal. Our miso was piping hot along with our green tea,m. Our appetizer was the baked mussels. Hot with a cream cheese sauce, they were a great addition. For our main course ordered their 24 pc sashimi platter to share. Fresh and tasty with a variety flavors, it was perfect. The salmon and bluefin were my favorites from this plate. Pleasantly full and satisfied with our meal, I ordered some Japanese cheese cake to take home. The green tea cheese cake was delicious. This place is so good! Three of my favorite rolls: Harley, Double Ebi, and yuzu salmon. Everything has been fresh every time we have dined here, the beek teriyaki is tender, thinly sliced and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The chicken and beef teriyaki with rice is a fave for kiddos. Comes with 2 gyoza, very delish. The ginger is fresh and amazing. Kirin light beer is really good, and tried a new Canmak rice beer, also delish. Their green tea is smooth.
