First time in Temecula! We stayed out here for the weekend and on our way home we wanted to try a non all you can eat sushi spot. We have littles and they love sushi but not for a crazy price. The prices and portions were perfect! They don't over charge for tiny portions like other sushi spots do. Service was amazing. Attentive. Polite. Absolutely amazing! The Golden Cali roll was SO good, and the Sunset roll is a must-order. I also loved the Salmon Crispy Rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and tasted great even as takeout. I was on a mini getaway with my mom and decided to stop by here. We arrived a bit after they had opened and there was only like two other groups seated. We were seated right away and the staff were super nice. I got 4 pieces of nigiri, which were the yellowtail, salmon, Toro, and seared scallop. I think this is one of those spots that aren't super expensive, but their fish is super fresh and delicious. My mom got the udon with tempura and she is normally a hard critic, but she actually enjoyed her meal. I also tried some and thought it was pretty good, as well. Dined here yesterday with a good friend of mine. I've been wanting to try out Hana Sushi after seeing their ads on Instagram and reading about their specials showing their Rolls in the photos. We had 2 of their tasty Lunch Specials, Green Tea & Miso Soup. This used to be the same place as Hana's Sushi but must have recently changed owners maybe??It USED to be our favorite sushi spot close to home. But no longer! So disappointed. We came for Father's Day lunch. There were just a couple of customers at the sushi bar. That should've been our first clue! This place is usually packed. Then we noticed the menu was different and missing all the best rolls. Clue number two but we just figured they were trying new things. Finally the rolls came out... what a disaster. My Mexican roll had four huge pieces instead of the normal "sharable" eight pieces. Not to mention that the huge pieces were not fun to eat. All the other rolls came out the same- four huge pieces. Impeccable service, very friendly and accommodating, the smell, and the ambience was exactly what you want when you walk into a new restaurant for the first time. The mother and son duo who work there are extremely friendly and obviously filled with good energy and spirit, I highly recommend this business as me and my family got our dinner there from Mother's Day this year and we are all very pleased. This place used to be hana sushi. I never really liked hana sushi, but this place has decent sushi. They are very expensive. I believe it's 45$ That is my only issue here. The rolls come in 8 pieces. I would order 2 rolls and im so full! Appetizers were tasty. My favorite was the oyster. Service is good and fast. I like the inside esthetically. Amazing experience! The food was so delicious! The sashimi (we got bluefin, salmon, and yellowtail) was fresh and the pieces were pretty large, and the nigiri had a good amount of fish to rice ratio. Husband and I came here for dinner. Wasn't our original plan but everywhere else we tried to go to was so busy and we were starving so we decided to give this place a try. I was surprised it wasn't busy for a Saturday night but after having a feast, I was even more surprised it wasn't busy because the sushi here is absolutely phenomenal! We decided to do the all you can eat sushi option. Our waiter was patient and helpful explaining to us how it worked, going over the menu, and cost. $44.99 for all you can eat at the time of this review being written. Steal of a deal! We ordered 5 rolls and some nigiri rolls and an oyster. While everything we ate was excellent I will list the rolls from least favorite ( let me reiterate, still very good ) to favorite. Tuna Tower: Stacked with sushi rice, crab meat, thick pieces of avocado, and topped with thick chucks of spicy tuna. It's a big one but you won't feel heavy with this. Protein Roll: No rice. Crab meat, avocado, salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. It's wrapped in soy paper and drenched with sauce, no soy sauce needed. Hummingbird: this was a crazy roll! Shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, topped with spicy tuna and eel sauce! Lots of flavor. Now it's a tie between the Tuna Lover and the Pokémon Roll. Both of these rolls are refreshing and light regardless it having rice. Big chunks of meat. This sushi spot does an excellent job with the rice to fish ratio. Excellent taste, great presentation, helpful and attentive service. It's close to home so we will definitely be back :) read more

If you're looking for a nice atmosphere, fresh delicious sushi that is presented amazing! I got their pick 2 meal and got Cali roll, rice, teriyaki and salad and miso and it was amazingly delicious! We tried this restaurant after my son, visiting from rural Oregon, spotted it and wanted to give it a try. We arrived for dinner, around 6pm, and were seated promptly (actually we picked our own booth). The AYCE price was/is about $5 more than we are used to paying at our go-to sushi restaurant, but we opted for it anyhow. I have mixed bag of opinions about this place, but plan to return to verify my 4 star rating (good) as to whether it deserves the 5 (great). Service was okay+, but we had to flag down the waiter to refill our drinks a couple of times. All of the sushi we ordered came out fresh, with minimal rice. The cuts of fish were thicker and longer than what we have been getting at the other place recently; a big plus there! The only piece I felt might be on the not-so-fresh side was the octopus nigiri, as it was tough to chew. We selected a few different rolls, a couple that were unique to me. A couple were fantastic and a couple were just okay (edible), but that is subjective and was the first time ordering those combos. I will definitely try a few others on our next trip here. We also tried the baked lobster pop (unknown if "real" lobster is used) and fried calamari, both of which were good+ with a couple of the fried calamari slightly on the tough side. I truly do plan to return to try this place out again, because as I intimated above - the jury is still out. read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday around 6PM. I was starving, we were seated right away. Place was clean, and not cramped. We placed our order and everything started coming out pretty quick.
