We've been to Sushi Masa three times now and each visit has been consistently excellent. We always opt for the all-you-can-eat option, and it's been well worth it every time. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and comes out quickly, even when we order a variety of rolls and appetizers. The service has also been spot-on. Friendly, attentive, and efficient, never a long wait between rounds of food or for drink refills. We've always been seated right away, though to be fair, we usually eat on the earlier side. As we're heading out, we've noticed it does start to fill up, so if you're planning a later dinner, you might want to expect a wait as I'm not sure if they take reservations.

It was hard to get orders placed as the server was too busy with too many tables. Also, even though I read in other reviews the sashimi was fresh and offered in large slices, that was not my experience at all. And, be aware that if you want a booth, a huge sign tells you to ask while you are adding your name to the wait list, and even after doing so and waiting 30 minutes, I still only received a half booth.

This place is always so crowded and it's because the all you can eat deal is really well priced. The food is always good. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is honestly pretty large and accommodating for seating of any kind.

Thank you so much Sushi Masa! We had the most amazing dinner last visit, the best one we have ever had to date, everything was Perfection :)... Thank you for fixing/updating the small issues with the sushi bar/kitchen. Everything was super fresh this time and we just love love love the Zac Roll!! We are now calling it the "Zac the Wizard roll" bc it disappears like magic its so yummy! Poof! haha. We love the giant shrimp on the end, it's like two little green magic shrimp wizard gnomes. We love chomping those. Chomp Chomp Haha. The cucumber salad, nigiri & sashimi, the little love nuggets of yellowtail, were all super fresh & professionally presented. Well done! Everything was just incredibly fabulous! The new finish out, lighting, new dishes, love the seashell ones, everything is so amazing, very clean & very romantic for date night! The new vibe is our jam jam-bony! I have now added you to my Hometown Favorites list, and my Hometown treasures list. Congrats! Will return soon. xoxo Queen of Pirate'cola approved! Highly recommend.

A decent spot for hibachi and sushi rolls. The servers provided ample attention, in a typical diving setting. I've had better sushi, sure. But all in all, we enjoyed our visit and the kids are happy too - Win Win

Definitely gone downhill. Used to go about every month. Now it's once a year. After tonight, probably no more.

Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.

The Grouper Picatta was fresh and I would order it again and again!! It was the best fish I have had in a LONG time--and we live in South Florida surrounded by great seafood restaurants. Parking was close and easy to get a spot--this was a week day and they were packed! We went on their wine special day for 50% off--nice surprise.

We even talked to the manager, Nick, because we felt like Ricky deserved to be recognized. Ricky made the whole experience feel comfortable and genuine from the start. He was able to talk with my family in both Spanish and English, which honestly made everyone feel welcomed and included. He's very personable and easy to talk to, and you can tell he enjoys what he does. One thing we really appreciated was how attentive he was without being overbearing. He checked on us at all the right times, made sure everything was good, and never made us feel rushed or interrupted while we were enjoying our meal. He's also really knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations whenever we had questions. We've had Ricky as our server before, and he's honestly one of the reasons we keep coming back. The food is always delicious, but having great service like that makes the experience even better. Fish House is lucky to have someone like Ricky on the team.

Once we were seated, our server Rick was right there. He is pretty funny so ask for Rick on the weekends. He gave us some great ideas and we went with what he suggested. We had the Grits A Ya Ya and the Catfish Meuniere. The grits were probably some of the best we have had. They were creamy, smooth and cheesy all at the same time. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and made that dish rock. The catfish had a pecan crust and the sauce that was over it made it an amazing dish. For dessert, we had an amazing bread pudding and key lime pie. The only this about the desserts that need correcting is the green sauce on the key lime pie. It doesn't do anything for the pie . The manager Dean came over and apologized for the delay in getting our meals and we really appreciated that. He was really nice and made up for our delay in dinner. We will definitely be back and the views help make the dining experience even better.

What really sets Joe Patties apart is the quality. Nothing compares to the freshness of their fish and seafood. If you feel like you're paying a little more, just know that when you cook it properly at home, the quality more than justifies the price. One tip: if you're getting steamed shrimp, skip the pre-steamed option. Go to the counter, pick out the shrimp you want, and have them steam it fresh for you. Definitely grab one of their tubs of garlic butter and herbs and have them add half or the full amount depending on how much you're getting. I got the Argentine shrimp, about a pound and a half, and had them use half the butter. No one in my group expected it to be as good as it was. I set the plate down and it was gone in less than five minutes. I was lucky to even get three pieces for myself. We also purchased a whole grouper and had them fillet it for us. We seasoned it with their Everglades rub, and I have to admit it was probably the best grouper I've ever had in my life. The freshness makes all the difference. We grill often and have made grouper before, but it's usually been frozen, and it never comes out anywhere near this good.
