5 Stars - Truly Exceptional Customer Service at Sprouts Farmers Market on Sheldon Street! I had the most outstanding shopping experience at the Sprouts Farmers Market located at 174 E. Sheldon St. in Prescott, Arizona. This store truly stands out for its commitment to customer service, and I couldn't be more impressed. Katie in the Bulk department was fantastic. When I asked her where I could find paper plates, she didn't just point or give directions -- she personally walked me right over to the aisle, showed me the exact section, and kindly asked if these were what I was looking for. Her helpful, proactive attitude made a simple request feel genuinely cared for. Diane at the checkout was equally wonderful. She was friendly, efficient, warm, and engaging the entire time. She made the checkout process smooth and pleasant, and she was very, very helpful with any questions I had. But what really blew me away was Jacob's service. I asked him where the bulk spring water was, and he immediately said "Follow me," took my cart with my permission, and wheeled it straight into the back warehouse area. He returned with exactly three cases of Sprouts spring water already loaded in my cart -- precisely what I needed. I've shopped at many supermarkets over the years and received good service, but never have I experienced someone going to that level of initiative and care. It left me completely blown away and overwhelmingly appreciative. I was so impressed with the entire team that I made a point to track down the manager, Jay, just to tell him how exceptional his staff is. It's obvious that Jay runs this store with a strong focus on excellence in customer service, and every employee reflects that commitment. I like the large selection of ready to go meals at Sprouts, including a lot of healthy options. I grabbed the salmon with green beans and sweet potatoes which also had a teriyaki type sauce. The sauce was a bit sweet but the salmon and veggies were perfectly cooked and made for a quick, healthy meal on the go. They have a lot of salads, bowls and sandwiches and many heat and eat items. read more

April 10, 2026. Very poor quality produce. Honeycrisp apples were tasteless and not sweet. They were not juicy either. Raspberries purchased on the 8th - 2 days ago were moldy!! I used to go to the sprouts store in Prescott Valley, the clerks, and the vitamin department were very well informed and provided me with the news I needed to know regarding the vitamins I wanted to take or was taking. They used to inform me when the cells were coming up and how to look up things myself on the Internet. I went in there last Saturday to get a few groceries at enhance my vitamin shelf, in this nutty blonde was trying to help me find a vitamin that I was looking for. But all she could do is talk to me about her own problems and her darn cat. I'm not a cat person. I like dogs only wanted to hear the information I was in there for not her life story about her and her cat. A 15 minute trip took me an hour to get out of her grips. I'd rather go to another store or even the sprouts store in Prescott then listen to her crap. read more

Since I begin working 0.3 miles from this Sprouts I have been here every day for lunch. Sprouts has a variety of grab and go or made to order, soups and sandwiches for between $5-6 bucks. The options are healthy and not hard on your wallet. I also shop here regularly for groceries as they have a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, vegetarian/vegan options. The staff have been very friendly, accommodating, and helpful every time I've come to this location. While this isn't the closest location to my home I will continue to shop here during the week. read more

Went to this sprouts location just of Sheldon to see if I could get a sandwich platter for my daughters classroom today since they are having a valentine's day celebration in class. Tim helped me out a whole lot this morning and within a short period of time the platter was ready to go and everything was perfect! Also, every time I go in there for anything in the pharmacy, Stephanie has the right answers! She has so much knowledge! It's just so amazing. Sprouts is a great market with a good selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and center aisle products. They specialize in organic and higher quality products versus the standard grocery stores. For those familiar with Foodland stores this is similar but smaller scale and not as extensive of a selection. I do use this store for the unique items. It is bigger than Trader Joe's and a different selection. I use both just depends on my grocery list. I highly recommend in absence of Foodland!!! read more

I love this store. In fact I hate shopping everywhere else except for trader joes. But this sprouts is great and their staff is great too. One day I forgot a bag of groceries at the checkout which i had already paid for. The next time I came in I went to the same cashier (Katjia) and told her what happened and she remembered me and had written it down and gave me the items back that I had forgotten. It was almost 30 dollars worth of groceries and now days that's alot of money with everything being so expensive. But, I could not believe she remembered. Shes wonderful! Wow....I'm jealous. The Sprouts in Prescott Valley can't even compare to this store. So yeah... it just opened a month ago. Everything is new and fresh but it's also bigger and has more to offer. It just felt more "Open." Room to breathe and more to explore. All the shelves were well stocked. I just wasn't prepared to go grocery shopping at that time. So as I'm reading the other Yelp reviews I see I am not the only person who encountered rude staff working here. I get it, I understand it's a Saturday night and you probably have better places to be when you close in five minutes but I witnessed one other customer and myself being stalked by the employees as we are trying to hurry and gather things and then being told well we close in two minutes. I wasn't even able to get my chocolate covered almonds which I could not find because I was told " we are already closed. I'm surprised to read so many reviews saying the staff is rude. The guys at the meat / fish counter are always friendly and helpful. I've also stopped employees who are stocking and asked about the availability and location of a particular product - not in their section - and was treated professionally. Yes, the checkers aren't super friendly, but they are never rude. On the bright side, I love their veggies, sushi and shrimp. They also have a very good selection on non dairy "ice cream". I've tried the make up and that's a no-go. But, they have essential oils that are great. read more

I love Sprouts for all of the fresh food and beverages they offer. It is nice to have one right next to the hotel. I always like to have a few snacks in my room and a little something when I get up in the morning. The staff always ask if I need help finding anything. On this occasion I was looking for something sweet and some local beer. We found these little 2 bite sized beignets filled with jam to have in the morning. They had a nice selection of beers. The one thing they didn't have was a good selection of soft drinks to choose from. read more

The service in the deli is poor in general, however, I went in to order a gluten-free sandwich and the bread was placed on the cutting board where they had just been making gluten sandwiches. I told them I had an allergy and asked if they would put the liner down first, The one they use to wrap the sandwich at the end. They took offense to this and and were not willing to accommodate so I left without a sandwich. They put the gluten-free bread slices back into the gluten-free bag even after having it come in contact with gluten. No reason for me to go back to Sprouts. Don't offer a gluten-free sandwich if staff are not trained on how to properly handle it. very simple change your gloves and use a liner that's all it would've taken. read more

Today the male cashier at Sprouts charged me $30 for one English cucumber. I was securing my bags and putting them in my cart so I was not watching him ring up my purchases. I checked my receipt after putting away my groceries and called the store. I was told to bring in the receipt and they would do a refund. There was not a line when I first checked out but I stood in line to get my refund. I then had to pay for my one cucumber. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! I am a loyal Sprouts fan so I was excited to see them in Prescott. I made sure to make a stop and buy some snacks for our hotel room while we were in town for the week. This Sprouts had the same layout as other Sprouts, but it seemed to be very new. Overall great store, great staff. Pros: Great layout, items, hours, ambience, etc. Fresh produce, clean store and enjoy shopping here for groceries. Cons: I'm always surprised by the lack of friendly or helpful customer service on the floor and sometimes at the register. (Deli is great!) Asking recently where something was in produce, to employee working in produce (and I understand they are busy, but this is only one example) they make no eye contact and quickly say "next to the radishes"...so now I go look for the radishes...to locate the item I'm trying to find. Checking out, I don't mind the longer wait times, but then I better get my groceries loaded in my cart, otherwise the next customer's bags are now piling up next to mine. read more

This Sprouts is fantastic; just what we need in Prescott. Especially after that Haggen debacle, and having my wallet burgled by Whole Foods. Since the store is so close I can stop by frequently for smaller purchases; better for freshness. The beef I've purchased has been much better quality that Fry's or Safeway. Their chicken and wild caught sockeye salmon have been superior too. The grass-fed ground beef is great and fairly priced. They also have a leg up on the competition with their meat counter service. All stores are helpful but Sprouts staff seem to know more about their products and are especially attentive. The produce is better than Fry's and far cheaper; even though Fry's corporate dropped local prices 2 weeks before Sprouts opened. (Shows their pricing was opportunistic to begin with.) The bulk section puts everyone else to shame. The chili spiced peanuts are killer! Lastly, checkout is super fast and friendly. I've never had a wait like other stores even though they are busy. The storw snd bathrooms are always clean. And there is always staff nearby to answer a question or help. (Pay attention Fry's and Safeway! And don't bother Walmart, there's nothing you can do.) There are a couple cons, depending on your shopping habits. Their canned and dry grocery section are smaller and pricier. But focuses on smaller "natural" type brands. The frozen food section is similarly. Lastly, I don't receive good knowledgeable service in their large Vitamin & Suppliment section. (What's up with that.?) But that is a company- wide problem in my experience; the same is true in PV & Phoenix. Oh, and as a comment on the one-star caninaphobe Yelper... I'm at thus store several times a week, since opening day, and I have never seen a dog in the store. Soooooo....
