Next door is a cigar bar so I unfortunately you can smell the cigar smoke seeping through the ventilation, reason why we just went outside and he ate at the table . I first tried Sushi Song in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago and I was hooked! When I found out there was one coming to Deerfield Beach I didn't walk, I sped over to that location. The food is always delicious and fresh. I've order Gyoza, Edamame, Spicy Tuna Tartar, Tuna Tataki, Sake, Miso Tomyum, and random rolls. I haven't had any that disappointed me! My husband and I love love love sushi song we come here a bit too much lol. The sushi chefs are great at what they do, the rolls are always prepared so well. The service has always been so good quick and efficient. The edamame with side spicy mayo is our go to app to start and our favorite rolls are definitely surf and turf, spiderman, the show gun chris. BEST SUSHI PLACE!!! First off, shoutout to Chef Chris (pictured bottom left) for being the dopest chef in all of SoFlo! The service we received was top notch and the waitresses were so cool! Food and atmosphere were amazing and they made us feel right at home, even providing us a special cheesecake to celebrate my birthday weekend! This is one of the best sushi places in South Florida (in my not so humble opinion). Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is great. However this place is not very big, so on weekends you're going to have to wait. I don't think they take reservations. Not a great place to bring kids as it's a bit cozy in there and you're going to make everyone hate you. (Just being real guys, chill.). Like all good restaurants, there is no parking, and the place is only open after 5pm. I can walk there from my place, but you'd need to park in the building garage or public parking lots. If you do have a Deerfield Beach resident sticker/license plate on file or whatever they're doing this year- you can also park in the lot that's fairly close next to the fire station (it's usually full at that time but the residents spots are always empty). read more

I truly don't understand how this Sushi Song location doesn't have a better star rating. We came in for dinner after visiting one of the neighboring restaurants and waiting almost an hour for food and then having the waitress coming over to tell us that the kitchen forgot to make it. (Insert eye roll here!) We very promptly left and walked over to Sushi Song and were immediately greeted by the friendliest and most fun staff. (Shout out to Chris and Mike!) They weren't too busy and we were able to order right away since we were a bit hangry. I ordered a simple salmon and tuna roll and my friends and I shared the surf and turf roll that had the most delicious piece of steak on top. It was SO GOOD we ordered a second one! Chef Chris came to our table for the full experience to sear the steak for us (gotta get that IG content) which was so fun! You can write on the walls (nothing inappropriate of course) and they have a pretty decent selection of sake as well. I consider myself a sushi snob and the rolls were great but the service really made our experience. I would definitely come back to this location if I'm in the area again for some delicious sushi and a good time with this amazing staff. read more

The server came to take our drink order and recommended the Sparkling Sake. We loved it! It was strong, yet smooth on the pallet. For starters I ordered the Miso soup (Soybean broth with Tofu, seaweed and scallops) it was absolutely delicious. Then I ordered a Dragon roll w/o cucumbers topped with fresh wasabi and ginger. We enjoyed every bite. It is in a great location within walking distance of Deerfield beach, residential communities, hotels, an ice cream parlor, retail stores, and other shops. Sushi Song is by Deerfield Beach and is a small restaurant with one worker and one sushi chef. The dragon roll was good and we had a lot of pieces. My favorite part of the meal would have to be the dumplings and the shrimp shumai. It was steamed instead of fried (what I usually prefer) and the sauce was sweet and flavorful. The miso soup seemed to be microwaved, but honestly the back didn't look like it had much. I feel like there wasn't a big kitchen in the back for pots and pans. Ordered a roll topped with salmon but when I got there at 1:30 am and went to pay for the up charge (as it said to do on the website) they told me the salmon was already put away and they didn't know if I'd want to pay extra. What did they expect me to get to the restaurant and be like "oof $5 extra for salmon no way." Everyone that would order salmon on top of a roll knows that it costs extra. So now I just have to eat a plain California roll and plain shrimp tempura roll. Waste of money and time. What sushi restaurant doesn't understand top with salmon and then refuses to fulfill it when you go out of your way as some stupid hour of the night to get it. This is my second time eating here and it's some of the worst sushi I've ever had. Something about it just the taste is not there.
