Ginger chicken

I recently ate at Bluefin with my family and had a great experience. The staff was very attentive and there was plenty of seating available. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp spring rolls which were so tasty with the peanut sauce. For the entree, we shared a chicken pad Thai, ginger chicken, and a sushi roll. Between 3 people, we had left overs! My favorites were the pad Thai and the sushi (the Parkland roll). Also, if you are a Thai tea fan I absolutely recommend ordering it here! It is delicious. This wasn't my first time and definitely won't be my last, as I've always enjoyed the food and ambiance at Bluefin.

New item on menu...Sesame Chicken with jasmine rice and steamed veggie! And, of course, a chilled glass of Kim Crawford.

New item on the Bluefin menu!!!! My husband ordered his usual, Sushi Appetizer and hot saki...he loves it and never changes! There are so many things that I love, including the chicken satay, sushi rolls (so fresh) and a glass of Kim Crawford in a chilled glass! Tonight, however, Jo mentioned that there are new items...so, I just had to try the new sesame chicken dinner...SO GLAD I DiD...it is delicious! It comes with jasmine rice and steamed vegetable. If you are looking for a Parkland restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly and very helpful staff, and delicious food...run, don't walk, to Bluefin!!!

As someone who was raised in Parkland and comes back to visit for my parents, Bluefin has always been a Parkland staple for me. It's always a familiar spot and service is always consistent. We were seated right away and orders placed immediately. Food and drinks came out promptly as well. We were stuffed eating these dishes (I was pleasantly surprised by how much they gave especially for the more affordable rolls like the salmon skin roll), and I was happy to see they serve tempura ice cream since that's my mom and I's favorite dessert at Asian fusion restaurants. I'll be coming back next time i'm in town!

After years of quiet consistency, Bluefin Parkland has officially entered a bold new phase under the ownership of Tim Sathonpanich. A familiar face to loyal diners, Tim spent 15 years orchestrating the front of house -- and now he's brought that same care and commitment to the entire operation. With a refreshed team that includes three full-time sushi chefs led by the exceptionally talented Chef Tony, Bluefin is evolving with purpose. Chef Tony, who previously sharpened his skills at Tee Jay Thai Sushi in Fort Lauderdale, brings a modern, art-forward approach to the sushi counter. His sashimi creations are a visual and textural delight -- one standout featured ruby slices of tuna and salmon wrapped around jicama, topped with avocado, black tobiko, and a delicate creamy drizzle over a chili-spiked ponzu. Another dish layered salmon sashimi with crispy shallots, roe, and scallion over a citrusy ponzu, while a third boldly mixed hamachi and conch, with bamboo shoots and jalapeño that delivered serious heat and brightness. Tony's plating is precise but never pretentious -- this is art you want to devour. Not to be outshined, the hot kitchen came through with two showstoppers. The shrimp in red curry was rich and aromatic, the sauce complex and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and spice. And then there was the whole fried snapper -- golden, crisp, and majestically plated with sautéed vegetables and a chili dipping sauce on the side. It's one of those dishes that makes a statement before the first bite, and it absolutely delivers. Big changes are still to come: a new, streamlined menu is in the works to make the experience more approachable, along with a rotating specials board to highlight seasonal creativity. And while nothing is official yet, let's just say a Happy Hour is being strongly encouraged -- so keep your eyes peeled. Bluefin has always had a loyal following in Parkland, and under Tim's stewardship, it's poised to win over an entirely new generation of diners. If you haven't been in a while, now's the time.

For the money, you get so much more for the same from other more national chain sushi bars. new chef and has stepped up their game of that was possible! Hidden gem

Kampachi, bluefin tuna, ikura over squid, salmon, surf clam with red tobiko & wasabi tobiko, o-toro, striped bass, ama ebi.

Tim, the former manager is back as the new owner. Alex, the former sushi chef is now back at the helm of the sushi bar. We could not be happier! Great selection of high quality fish is what it's all about. They do wonderful Thai food as well, but honestly we struggle to not get our sashimi fix every time we come here. Absolutely stunning!

I love bluefin! I've been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. The staff is super nice and attentive and the food is super yummy with nice portion sizes. Can't recommend enough. My only complaint is that they don't have yum yum sauce, but their spicy mayo is basically their version of it (not spicy actually) lol. Their wine pours are basically 2 glasses in 1 also so that's a win!

Boca Raton can be... polite…read more Safe. Predictable. A place where flavor sometimes shows up wearing loafers. And then there's Chow Thai Cuisine, which kicks the door in and reminds you that spice is not a suggestion -- it's a lifestyle. Let's begin with the Tom Kha Gai. This soup isn't comfort. It's therapy with a PhD. Coconut milk silky enough to calm your nervous system. Galangal and lemongrass punching through like they have something to prove. Lime snapping you back to attention. It's hot, bright, layered -- the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-sentence and just nod. Fire. Absolute fire. Then came the Spicy Virgin Chicken -- and whoever named it that undersold it. This thing was off the chain. Bold heat. Real heat. Not Florida "mild but we call it spicy." The kind of balanced burn that builds instead of bludgeons. Flavor first. Heat second. Respect maintained. You can tell when a kitchen knows what it's doing. This one does. And here's the real test -- the only test that matters: Would we come back? Not "maybe." Not "if we're in the area." Not "with a coupon." Yes. Without hesitation. The Thai tea deserves its own paragraph. Creamy, sweet, but with this subtle floral undertone that sneaks in at the end like a quiet encore. It doesn't scream. It lingers. It knows exactly what it's doing. Now the tragedy. I didn't order the spring rolls. Why? Because I ran out of stomach. Which is both a failure and a victory -- because now I have a reason to return. And I will. The decor? Unexpectedly transportive. You walk in and it feels like you left Boca for a minute. Warm lighting, layered textures, a quiet otherworldly vibe. Not cheesy. Not forced. Just enough to shift your mood. Some restaurants serve food. Chow Thai serves intention.

Looks like there may be new owners bc the regulars, according to my friend, were not there to greet us. We go a table in the corner and the server took our drink order immediately. The decor is and pleasing to the eye. You walk into a delicious smell of curry. I was really excited to have the salad with the peanut dressing. The top layer was great but it was all water underneath. Either they washed the lettuce and it was dripping into the dressing or the dressing was watered down. I was starving so I ate it. We both had the chicken pad Thai. I had mild and my friend had the 3 star. This pad Thai had to have been made with pure sugar be I aww it was easy too Sweet to eat and the noodles were all struck together like they had been sitting out. To boot, I had about 4 little pieces of chicken on this dish (they charge extra for the chicken BTW). I love pad Thai and this was a no go. My friend stated that they must have changed the chef bc she was not pleased with her order either. It was too much sweet mixed with hot. The lunch prices are good and o just wish the food matched. This is a thumbs down for me. I love to support local business but won't be back unless I see something different. I am always willing to give a business the benefit of the doubt but when a regular patron says they've changed completely, there has to be a reason.
