This place is tiny and almost hidden. However the service is super fast and friendly! If you get the waiter with 2 earrings in each side. He is freaking awesome. My food came out 13 minutes flat. The Thai food and sushi are both very good. Pad kee Mao, Tom yum soup and pad Thai are very delicious. The pink lady and the mango tango are our favorite rolls. Portions are good and prices aren't bad. Will definitely keep coming back. read more

My favorite sushi place!! Dangerous because it's right down the road from where I live, but it's so dang good!! The senator roll is my all time favorite, hard to beat! My husband and I have tried some other dishes, like pad Thai, and don't think that they are very good. So I wouldn't recommend getting anything other than sushi or appetizers, but the sushi is phenomenal! Staff is always kind and helpful! read more

Amazing food, good service and friendly atmosphere, but you wouldn't know from the outside We will be coming back My daughter is very discerning with milk teas, and she was so impressed with the Thai tea and I tried a new beer, Kirin Ichiban, which I really liked (kind of like a lager) We started with green salad & ginger dressing, dim sum samples, crab rangoon and Tom kha soup (coconut). It's unassuming from the outside because it shares a parking lot with a smoke shop and it's a 30 second walk from a Mapco, but the cozy well designed interior was a precursor to well thought out and executed sushi. The American sushi experience is somewhat muted and homogenous, and Shushi Thai isn't much different in that aspect, but the staff was incredibly nice and their menu was well executed. We ordered goyza, the New Yorker (sushi), and the dirty old man (sushi). The goyza was crispy and tender. Both our sushi rolls were delicious. It would be our go to spot if we were locals! read more

Ambiance is casual and intimate. It's the perfect spot for a date night or dinner with friends. We were seated immediately and our food came out quick. The food was phenomenal. Delicious. I love everything about this place. Their spice level is good, their Thai tea and coffee is amazing, and their sushi is mouthwatering. I have gone here constantly with my parents from out of town and also brought up food for my sister in Clarksville. We always get the pad see ew, sunrise roll, pad Thai, and salmon sashimi. I only wish I can get just nigiri or sashimi individually but the meals for the sashimi are such a good deal. read more

This was my second visit to Sushi Thai in Hermitage since they opened in late 2019 and they are great! This is the fourth sushi restaurant in this storefront so we have been getting sushi here for over 20 years. The first owners were Jack and Kate. Wonderful people, my favorite sushi restaurant ever. The second and third owners were forgettable. This new owner, the 4th, Is off to a great start. I hope they are successful and stay here a long time. Very good sushi at reasonable prices. Unlike past owners, the new owners are keeping the restaurant clean and they are very friendly and welcoming. This time, we got a to go order of tuna roll, salmon roll, JB roll (which was kind of like a Philly roll), and the Triple Crown roll. I tried their Tonkatsu ramen, and I think it's personal taste -- the broth tasted more miso style than pork bone. Price was a little high than what I'd like to pay for lunch, but it was something I had not tried before. I probably won't order it again, but that does not mean I would not go back and try something else! Very quaint spot, the service was fantastic. Me and my lady went Saturday because we were craving sushi. Had to get on Yelp and found Sushi Thai. The pictures of the food and insider the establishment were very clean and food looked amazing. We gave it a shit and were highly pleased. We got the Walk Me Roll. A order of Combination Fried Rice and a medium Chicken Pad See Ew. Everything was freshly cooked and great taste. If you pass this place you may not notice it, but it is worth your effort to seek it out. A very warm, modern interior sets a nice ambience. It is small but very intimate while still being comfortable. Service is attentive and courteous. Menu is varied with some unique twists on some classics. We are so lucky to be within a short drive of quality sushi and Thai food! This is our go to spot and can't recommend enough to friends and family who visit. The staff is always so friendly and food service decently quick! We tend to get Pad See Ew and a few sushi rolls or plates. Reasonably priced for sushi but as with most places it can get costly if you get a lot of sushi. read more

I absolutely ADORE this place. I've lived in Nashville all my life but just moved to Hermitage and it is the most perfect Sushi/Thai/Vietnamese food place I've ever been to. I come here all the time with my boyfriend and they never cease to amaze me and make me the most beautiful sushi rolls that are also VERY reasonably priced! On the way to the Nashville airport we stopped for lunch after reading Yelp reviews. We were impressed the moment we walked in with the decor and cleanliness. The service was excellent even though it was right up 12 noon the height of the lunch rush. The Basil rolls were the the best my wife and I had ever had. The two sushi rolls were excellent. Ok. We discovered this place 2 weeks ago. This is the 4th time we have visited since then. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the location is close enough that we can have a casual lunch or dinner just because. Favorites include the Tuna Tataki, any roll on the menu, the noodle dishes and the Thai Ginger dish with Pork. This is definitely a wonderful gem in Hermitage. Whether you're passing through (the location is just off the interstate) or you live around the corner, it is worth the stop. read more

The sushi was amazing. We shared a JB Roll and a crunchy shrimp roll and it was so good. Some of the best sushi I've tasted. The Tom Kha shrimp was even better. It had so much flavor. Honestly the best Tom Kha I've had in nashville i think. The curry was okay. It was lacking just a little in flavor and texture for what I feel I usually get from other places currys. But everything else was so wonderful I cant give this place a four stars. The inside of the restaurant was also super lovely and warm feeling and I think will make a wonderful date location.
