I really wanted to like this place, but I left disappointed. We ordered the $72 sushi deluxe, and it just didn't feel like a $72 meal. The sashimi portions were unusually thin and oddly shaped--some pieces looked more like narrow strips than the generous cuts you'd expect. It gave me the impression that the fish was sliced as thinly as possible to create more pieces. The fish tasted okay, but the portion sizes simply didn't justify the price. The presentation was also underwhelming. There was no garnish or attention to detail, making the platter look very basic for what we paid. The piece by the fork for reference, maybe because it's a Friday night, last run? And they just scraped whatever left and gave it to us? We also ordered the pho, and unfortunately it wasn't much to write home about either. The noodles weren't fully cooked. Maybe I should have just ordered the Thai dishes, but if you're going to offer sushi on the menu, it should be held to the same standard. Customers shouldn't have to guess which parts of the menu are worth ordering. Overall, I don't mind paying premium prices for quality food, but I do expect the quality, portions, and presentation to match the price. Unfortunately, this experience didn't deliver. This is a neighborhood treasure! Everything on the expansive pan-Asian menu is a delight. The spring rolls are crisp, the sushi is fresh and the noodles are saucy. They don't even state how many pieces come with the order. I ordered an avocado and Masago (salmon roe) sushi", expecting a roll because that's what I everywhere else calls it, but instead i got 2 pieces each of nigiri. The Masago was spoiled and had to be thrown away. I was extremely disappointed. I paid to have it delivered to my house, too. Was expecting dinner and instead i got a snack. We stopped here for quick lunch and all I can say is wow. This is a diamond in the rough. Everything was excellent. I got spicy edamame, crab Rangoon, and sushi. Hands down the best edamame and crab Rangoon I have ever had. I've never been to a place that did anything other than steam the edamame but here they cooked in a spicy sauce and it's a game changer. Finally a good Thai restaurant close by and honestly this is the best lad na I've had! The flat noodles had the perfect "wok hei" and the gravy was the right consistency and flavor. My husband got the green curry and wow! It was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. We also saw how fresh their sashimi grade fish was and can't wait to come back and try it! The chef was the sweetest man and came and talked to us for a bit during our dinner. 5/5 for customer service! The restaurant space is super clean and inviting. I just happened to be driving thru the area, found this place on Yelp, and grabbed some food to go. Wow. What a treat. Everything was quite delicious and clearly very fresh. I had a roll that was generously filled and made with care. Nicely balanced. The other part of my lunch was the best Tom Kha soup with chicken I've had anywhere. It had big slices of onions that added crunch and sweetness but was balanced by fresh lime juice that added twang and depth. Finally, I got a meat pad Thai for later, but went ahead and tried a few bites. Also, really subtle flavors and lots of layers. Chicken and beef was plentiful and tender. Super tasty. I'm upset that I waited so long to try this place! It's ducked off in the parking lot next to Kroger and a little Caesars with a cute ambiance and small business feel. Big flavors though ‍ I went 3 times in two weeks! The first time I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and gyoza (I got gyoza every time, it was delicious). The second time I got the curry fried rice without raisins, and the last time I got pad thai and the chicken fried rice for my friend. My favorites were the rice dishes, and clearly the gyoza, as they're so full of flavor and filling. The portions are pretty good though I'd like to see what the lunch portions are like. I absolutely recommend this eatery! The prices are very reasonable as well. I can't wait to go back again and try something else off the menu, I'd like to try some of their drinks as well. I vacationed in Thailand for several weeks earlier this year and ate a lot of Thai food while I was there. In town for the weekend and came here. I was skeptical from a couple of reviews and it being in a plaza but gave it a chance. The fish so very very fresh and I am a picky one. There was a misunderstanding on how I wanted my roll modified and the old man said no problem at all- no attitude just happy to serve me. Given this is at 930pm. Just the nicest people and very good food! I must say I'm presently surprised and really cheered up my day. I'm not the easiest person especially when it comes to sushi to please but it was very very good and reasonable. Good service and great food doesn't come often. read more

We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I've been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I'd say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it's stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions. We ate in the restaurant. Very clean and attractive. I completely recommend it! We really enjoyed the place, the people, AND the food. Try it! read more
