Ordered some take out here on an early Friday night. Took a recommendation from the hostess and order two special hand rolls, and the Tom Nom Thai Beef Salad. The rolls were creative and fresh. And the beef salad was as good as I make it! The bathrooms were clean and the service was good. I will definitely return! read more

Food 4 - Service 0. Great sushi but poor service. Grub hub and Waiter is hurting a lot of the businesses in the area. Also so many to-go orders taking the staffs time. If the patrons present at the restaurant had priority this would improve their experience tremendously. Last couple visits it has been a 45 minutes to over an hour wait before entree was served. Drinks become empty, patience get shorter. No one should have to be asked for a refill - just refill the drink. Early weekday lunch at the sushi bar is a good experience. I used to bring my family here on a regular basis until we had a really bad experience once and stopped coming altogether. My son and I had to pass through Warner Robins last weekend, however, and I'd promised him sushi, so we decided to give it another try. We arrived on a Saturday at 5:30 and were the only customers.I found that odd, but its also refreshing to dine out on a weekend and not have to wait for a table. Our appetizers came out perfectly. The fried tofu has changed shape, but that perfect creamy texture is still there. The sauce makes it ideal. The Sunomono was also perfect. Just the right amount of vegetables and dressing. Everything was chilled and crisp as it should be. I have no complaint with the dragon roll and eel roll. One thing I can say for Sushi Thai, they're fairly consistent with their sushi. The spicy crab roll was pretty bland this go round though. My only real complaint with this visit was that we ordered a California roll as well as it never arrived. There was so much food that I didn't even remember we'd ordered it until after we'd arrived home. No biggie, it just seems like with us being the only people in the restaurant, they wouldn't have a hard time getting everything correct. Our waiter was polite and prompt. I did notice the young girl who made our visit such a nightmare last time (Very rude and had no qualms yelling at a waiter in front of diners) was still working there, so I'm not sure if I'm willing to make the drive back anytime soon. but my son had fun and the food was good so that's all that matters. read more

This is not my first time visiting this place. The last time I was in this restaurant it was couple years ago, I ordered me a sushi and I was not happy about it the rice was spoiled and from then I did not went to visit. As far as my visit yesterday 1/24/21 with a friend, this time I ordered my favorite food which is Phad Thai and I was so disappointed I know my food. My issue is they have decided to refuse service to anyone who doesn't wear a mask. While eating do you not take off you mask? The second is they do offer masks there. I ordered the "Bruce Lee Roll" which I found to be delicious but they cut each roll so thin. We also tried the Hibachi chicken and order a bento box that had California rolls and pad Thai which was very dry and had no flavor. The hibachi proportions were very small for the price you pay. Wow...we have this in middle GA?! Poke bowls are all of a craze right now especially coming in from NorCal and I was surprised that this place actually served it. I must say I was impressed with how fresh the tuna and the vegetables were in the bowl- the serving portion definitely fills you up. Another menu item hat got me excited was the salmon skin roll- it was amazing! I like how they have an variety of sushi and nigiri items...mostly not a fan of Japanese/Thai restaurants but since this is the trend in the area- I must say, they are doing something right in my book. Very disappointed in our first experience here. I placed an order earlier in the day to be picked up later in the evening (trying to coordinate grocery pickup and getting kids too). I received a text a few minutes after the order was submitted saying it's ready. I called the restaurant immediately to inform them it must be a mistake because it was an order for later. She told me "it's ok, we will hold it here for you." I requested the items to be made fresh at the stated time bc I didn't want it sitting out getting cold plus we have a 40 min drive home. She put me on hold and came back saying "no problem. We will remake the items at the requested time." I showed up later that evening and picked up the food. Checked it once in the car and all the fried food was cold and greasy. I went back in to speak to them and she said she couldn't ask them to make it again bc "they were busy cooking." There were only 2 others dining in when I arrived. I asked to talk to the manager and he told me he had them put the noodles back on the wok to reheat them. Pretty sure there are food safety rules about food setting out and being reheated. I explained all the fried foods were cold. He offered to remake everything if I wanted to bring in the 3 bags of food. I explained we don't have time bc I have multiple pickups to make. We won't be back again! Drove an hour to grab some sushi with some friends and arrived around 8:50pm and was told that the kitchen would be closing soon. We told the host that was fine and we would order quick and then I glanced at the staff behind the bar and they were rolling their eyes and staring at us with a look of disgust on their faces. Just because a business closes at 9:30pm does not mean that the staff leaves at 9:30pm. After seeing how the staff reacted to us coming in 30 minutes before closing I chose to make the decision for us to go elsewhere. Went today for my Father's day lunch. Was a alternate choice as my faves were all closed. I had the Hibachi Salmon and the girls had Cali Rolls and Ginger Chicken. We all shared a Gyoza appetizer. My Salmon was tasty and cooked well but slightly too blackened on the bottom for my taste. The veggies that came with it were very well done, tasty and still had a slight crunch to them. I hate it when the veggies are overcooked. The Gyoza was very good as well and the dipping sauce was nice and flavorful. I had Thai Tea for the first time and it was quite nice. Not what I expected of tea and a bit creamy and sweet for my taste but still good. The girls said the Cali Rolls were good and the wife concurred on the Ginger Chicken but said it was a bit greasier than she was used to. Overall, I'd call it a win and I didn't expect it to be that good. I'll be back to surf the rest of the menu as there seemed to be a great variety to choose from. read more

After a long day shopping we were ready for a great meal. Unfortunately, this was not the place to go. We were ambitious in our ordering. We started with a vegetable tempura appetizer. It came out soaked in grease and cold. We were so hungry we did eat it all but a few pieces. We also ordered a small Tom Ka soup. This was good and perhaps the highlight of the meal. We ordered two sushi rolls. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll and a salmon roll. They were adequate. The shrimp tempura roll didn't pack much flavor but for a run of the mill roll it was fine. I mentioned we were so hungry! We'd eaten breakfast and skipped lunch so we also ordered the Pad Thai. It was saturated in a thick sweet sauce with a pungent fish sauce undertone that made the chicken taste spoiled. We decided to forgo eating it because it was truly unpalatable even drenched in lime. We decided to fill up on our jasmine tea. A very polite gentleman came to check on our meal and we shared the Pad Thai was just too sweet and not to our satisfaction. He apologized and said he'd send our server over with our check. Our server shortly arrived and said she was sorry we did not like the Pad Thai and then proceeded to say that unfortunately she'd still be charging us for it. Ironically, we did not ask for the item to be removed or comped but common sense and good business practices should have prevailed. Save your money folks and drive on into Atlanta. Talk about insult to injury. Why bother asking if you don't really care or aren't going to make it right? read more

Visiting some friends in Dublin, and they took us out to eat here. This was their first time here as well. Walked into this restaurant at around 2:15. Got our drink order taken about 5 min after we were sat by what looks like the owner. Here was only 4 tables here when we walked in. It took roughly 20-25 min before the drink came out and for us to even put our orders in. By this time, those 4 tables already had their food out. Our table ordered, tom yum chicken, crab Angels(crab Rangoon), pork pad thai, green curry with chicken, been yakisoba, and Papaya salad. The food took another 30-40 min to come out, which at this point only two tables remain including us. Let's start with the pad Thai, it was below average to say the least, was super sweet and sour, and my girlfriend hasn't even squeezed any lime on it either. She ordered medium spicy, had no hint of spiciness to it at all. The iceberg lettuce they placed on top was old and browning on the edges. The yakisoba was super disappointing as well, no real flavor to it, just like an oil and soy sauce that it's stir fried in. The papaya salad was made by an amateur, had no authentic flavors to it. The green curry with chicken I ordered with level 4 spiciness, came with a side of fried rice, the curry was average, bamboo shoots were tough and old. The fried rice was as bland is regular white rice, I'm sure they didn't fry the rice, it was most likely mixed with a coloring. Looked like colored rice. For a level 4 spiciness max being 5, it wasn't spicy either. My girlfriend can't handle spicy food too well was even able to eat it without trouble. The Thai tea was just bad, had a strange bitterness that I've never tasted before in a Thai tea. I've been to plenty of restaurants and even to Thailand for two weeks, this is not Thai tea. There was two positives, the tom yum chicken had good flavor, and the crab Angels was pretty good as well. The service was as slow as service could possibly be. The server was a nice guy very friendly, but it was just too slow for the amount of customers that this restaurant had. The inexperience was evident in the server. The server did apologize saying the kitchen was backed up, which didn't make sense to me since there was only two tables, unless they only had one person cooking in the back. For a place like this, even if I lived in the area I would never return or recommend anyone to this place. Very disappointing and unfulfilling. Moved to Georgia from NY and I was thrilled to have come across a Sushi AND Thai restaurant all in one place. It was the perfect opportunity to scratch my NY foodie itch with 2 of my favorite cuisines. I was extremely disappointed. To start the young man who took my order knew the menu about as well as I did! He had no clue if they sold spicy tuna rolls (which they don't) or if they had fried calamari on the menu (they don't have that either). I ended up ordering a tuna roll and Miso soup to take out. I was shocked when i saw that they'd bought me out a straight white rice roll! The tuna was pretty much non-existent! The Miso soup was okay but the portion was extremely small. I was not happy... But as per the food review rule of thumb, be nice and try it twice, I do plan to return for a stab at the Thai side of things. Hopefully that visit will warrant an increase in rating for Sushi Thai. Pretty awful. Atmosphere was less than stellar. Stained ceilings and floor fans trying to circulate air in the place. Took us 20 minutes just to get our drinks of water. I just wanted a basic crab and cream cheese roll and was informed that I could substitute the salmon in another roll for crab instead. Also I did not want this roll fried so it really wasn't the same as the other roll, yet they charged me for the more expensive style one. $8 bucks for a roll anywhere else that would be $3. The seaweed was very chewy and rice was falling off the roll. The side ginger salad I got, I was able to eat half of because the rest of it was butt ends of the iceberg lettuce. Definitely will not be going back again. I've had better sushi from a grocery store quite honestly. read more

I've been here several times for lunch so I decided to come here for dinner and was not very pleased with the food. The times I came for lunch were delicious, always accompanied with a deliciously well made vegetable tempura. However, this trip was a bit different. The tempura was over fried and the vegetables were cut too thick and the amount we received was much less than before...novice cook, perhaps? The pad thai I ordered held up our order for some reason and I asked for it to be very spicy but instead the sauce seemed to be a ketchup base lacking spice. The sushi was ok, but since the pad thai took so long, the sushi had to wait to be brought to the table and the rice became mushy while the ingredients started to just blend together. I was very disappointed because I have had great lunches there. Hopefully it will not disappoint if there is a next time. read more

I came here with my mom one evening a few months ago. I had the fried tofu and the ramen. The sauce that came with the tofu made it less bland, but it definitely wasn't marinated long enough. The texture was nice though and it was fresh so that was a plus. My mom ordered hibachi, chicken I believe, and she had no complaints. It was pretty slow when we went into and our server may have been a bit too attentive, but it was cool. He was very talkative and slightly awkward, but he did his job efficiently and was friendly so I'm not going to complain . I would go back. read more

My father and I were looking for a sushi place in WR after I moved into the area. He ordered sushi and I ordered Pad Thai. The sushi was okay/typical. The Pad Thai was terrible.. Normally I enjoy Pad Thai and all the flavors mingle and the different ingredients meld into a nice dish. This was missing something. It was like everything was just thrown on the plate separately with nothing to bring them together. It was tasteless and bland.
