Tried this AYCE sushi place in Downtown Stamford Sunday lunch and we were really impressed! The weekend price is 30.99 and they had a great variety of fish and rolls and kitchen item. The quality of fish was great and fresh. The food came out fairly quick as well. I would definitely return for more sushi!

Came here with friends for AYCE sushi. We were met with efficient/not friendly or unfriendly staff, and sat immediately. The seating and decor are super plain but it's completely fine and clean and works. The fact that they have really good apps and food included in the price is great. We started with some good crab rangoons, shumai, and vegetable tempura. All of the rolls that we had were amazing but the sunshine, firecracker and especially the crazy girl were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Large space, plenty of tables. It's pen and paper order AYCE. Service is pretty prompt but if you're trying to do damage / get the most for your money, I'd put in your next food order as soon as the food hits the table. It's about $30 per person which is a little pricey in my opinion given the lack of variety. There's some fish that get put in their rolls that i would've loved to be able to order as sashimi but it's not an option. Kitchen food comes out hot and the fish tasted pretty fresh. A good AYCE option downtown.

I eat here often but I was actually disappointed with the last set. The spicy salmon roll was 98% crunch and 2% salmon. As you can see in the photo- the middle roll you can barely see any specks of salmon :(

Excellent AYCE place, was worth the revisit and planning more in the near and far future!

Decent spot, but in my opinion, $30.99 for the all you can eat option is a little expensive. Also, they don't serve anything alcoholic other than beer, wine and sake. And for some reason they put lemons in the Coronas instead of limes.

Popular all you can eat sushi in downtown Stamford. The location is good, however sushi quality is hit or miss. The bbq squid also left much to be desired, and while the rolls were tasty- the rubbery texture was a turn off on the sashimi side. Seems like a good deal for large parties, as many were seated around us.

Since the last few weeks, I have been here quite frequently since it's very close to my current location and I really like sushi, especially all you can eat. When I go here, I order a ton of Salmon sashimi and white tuna sashimi. Both are delicious and reasonably fresh. The restaurant is very nice and willing to give me shrimp rolls without any rice. It's not necessarily the best sushi I've had, but you really can't go wrong with all you can eat sashimi that isn't placed on a buffet. I usually just sit right in front of the sushi bar, so that I can quickly relay my order and optimize the service. The only issue I've had with service is that the servers do not speak the best English and I have frequently received other peoples orders on accident.

Probably one of the best sushi spots in Stamford, I was initially thrown off by the unlimited sushi option but the quality of the fish is very good! My only downside is that the food from the kitchen could use some work.

Today I got the lunch special to go! I got the shrimp tempura bento box. It came with soup, salad, 2 shrimp tempura pieces, some tempura veggies, white rice, shumai, & a California roll! That is a LOT of food for just around $12! The first thing I tried was the salad- the greens were fresh & the dressing you can tell they make in house by the fresh ginger flavor. Next, I tried the miso soup. Class miso soup, delicious, no problems there! The shumai was yummy. The tempura was crispy. The rice was cooked perfectly. The California roll was actually pretty good! I'm not a fan of California rolls usually but this was was good! Overall, great experience with my takeout. I'll have to update my review when I eat in & do the all you can eat sushi!

Super racist management. Refused to seat me as an African American at a table but allowed others to walk in. Don't go if you're black!

I like it! The prices are fair and the food comes out fast. East sushi spot in downtown Stamford. Clean and friendly.

We came about 1:30pm on Sunday and almost all tables are taken. We all had the sushi buffet.

I'm officially updating my previous rating because MẹCha Noodle Bar has seriously stepped things…read moreup. For anyone wondering about the name, it's pronounced "Me-uh Chah" (not "Mek-ah") and translates to "Mother and Father"--which feels fitting given how much more "soul" the food has lately. A few years back, I felt like they were missing the mark on the essentials, specifically the phở broth and the nước nắm. If you know Vietnamese food, you know those are the dealbreakers. The great news is they've clearly dialed in the recipes. I've been coming back regularly now because the flavors are finally hitting those traditional notes that are so hard to find in this part of Connecticut. My typical order: * Phở Gà (Chicken) * Phở Tái (Rare beef) * Phở Bò Viên (Beef meatballs) * Chả Giò (Fried spring rolls) -- Absolute must-order. They do have a lot of non-traditional stuff like Bao, Handrolls, and a solid Spicy Miso Ramen, and while those are actually very good, I usually stick to the Vietnamese classics since they're doing them so well now. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning. It has a really cool, organic vibe with tons of wood accents. The ceiling is covered in hundreds of 2x4s that hang down like a weeping willow canopy--it's unique and looks great in person. Pro-Tips: * Parking: Don't even bother trying to find a spot on Bedford Street; it's a nightmare. Park in the lot around the back and just use the pedestrian passage to walk through the building. * The App: If you're doing takeout, use their mobile app. It's a lifesaver on the weekends when the dining room gets slammed. So glad to have a reliable phở spot in downtown Stamford again!

stopped by Mecha Noodle Bar on my lunch break and ordered the pho ga, adding Thai chilis and bone…read moremarrow. the prices are definitely on the higher side compared to other local, more authentic pho spots. I actually went during restaurant week, but since I ordered it to go, I didn't get to take advantage of any of the promo pricing. the ambiance is always nice at Mecha, no matter the location. Even just popping in, you can feel that trendy, laid back vibe they're known for. This was my first time trying bone marrow with my. pho, and I'll admit I thought it came mixed into the broth. Instead, you have to scoop it out of the bone yourself, it reassures you that it's fresh, but I think I might've ordered it wrong. I'd probably go with marrow oil next time for a smoother experience. The pho itself felt clean and comforting, definitely one of those meals you can enjoy a little guilt free, especially if you're feeling under the weather. Overall, it's a good option, just a bit pricey for what it is. I'd be open to coming back, especially to dine in next time during a restaurant week if I have the time.
