I'd give 2.5 stars, but that's not an option. My deciding factor was the "Meh. I've experienced better" caption for 2 starts vs. "A-OK" for 3. Decent, but nothing special. Everything was a bit bland. The "50% off" rolls menu is just a scam to make you think you're getting more for less. You're actually getting less for maybe a drop cheaper than other places...these rolls are very small. Environment isn't that friendly and the waitress wasn't that attentive. Our orders came out in waves that by the time my food came out the other person's food was cold already from waiting for my meal. They take forever in getting you water but ironically only seconds to get you hot tea. The food was pretty good but I can't say it was the freshest I've had. I do have to say that for the price you are paying it is worth it as long as you consciously grab the waitress to get her attention if you are thirsty. read more

When I'm in the mood for sushi, this is the only place I go. It's not fancy, but the fish is fresh and the price is always right. I don't go here for any special side dishes or appetizers. Can't say enough good things about Sushi You. It's hands-down the best priced sushi in the area. If you order delivery, expect it quickly! Last time around (on a Friday night, no less) they said 30-40 minutes, and arrived in less than 10! The Red Dragon roll is exceptional, and most of the regular rolls we've tried have been on point. My only critique, they tend to be a little light on the actual fish at times, and a little heavier on other ingredients like "tempura crunch." Still, it's worth checking it out. Most of the regular rolls are 50% all of the time. If you like straight forward sushi and a causal atmosphere it's a great spot for a cheap date or takeout. Ordered from them just two days ago because the prices were incredible. For 24 bucks we received, six rolls... The tuna avocado roll and cali roll were meh, but the eel avocado and the spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, and spicy crab were out of this world! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. You can't beat the price and the fresh quality. I would stick to their basic hand rolls as I have heard their specialty rolls are tiny for the price. My entire family has patronized Sushi You for quite a few years. Whenever I call, the young man knows just about what I usually order and my "Ginger Dressing" on the side. Just wish it was made with GLUTEN FREE Soy Sauce (I just found out soy has gluten),. My favorite dishes are the LynSanity Roll, Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Miso Soup. Ok so the sushi is not as big as you would normally get at a regular restaurant but, then again who can fit all of that in one bite? I think the size of the sushi they serve here is just right. My cravings are usually satisfied with 2 California rolls and an avocado salad. And you can't beat the price. The sushi is always fresh and delivery is fast. I also like that they give you a mini cup of soy sauce with your delivery as opposed to some places that send you soy sauce packets and expect you to have mini saucers at your house to dip it in. I've never eaten there, I always get take out so I cannot comment on the wait service, but everyone I have dealt with was always pleasant and spoke English well. The regular sushi rolls are well priced. Their sushi is tasty. Whatever you do, do not eat there. The staff is so rude. They look at you like they are upset you're eating there. My husband and I went to lunch there on a Tuesday around 1pm. The restaurant was empty. Their were 3 people working the front and none of them were attentive to us. We spent almost $40. They charged us an extra $0.50 for honey wasabi sauce and $1.50 to add kiwi to a roll. They did not even let us know their would be an extra charge when ordering. read more

Sushi You is my favorite sushi restaurant around town. Not only is it inexpensive but it's one of the better sushi places I've been to. I absolutely cannot stand when rolls are mostly rice. But this sushi is always fresh, very tasty, and the service is great. Atmosphere is quaint, nothing elaborate, but very welcoming. It's "BYO" and there's plenty of parking. If you have friend that are trying sushi for the first time, this is the place to bring them/recommend. Everyone that I have referred to this spot rave about how good it was and they become loyal customers! They have a large variety of cooked rolls for non-raw fish eaters. Sad to say this but I'm actually one of the few that's not a fan of this place. At first I was, especially seeing the everlasting grand opening 50% off all sushi sign. I mean what a great value right?! But after multiple times of eating here, the quality of the sushi and rolls is just too low for me. The rolls are quite skinny with lack of volume of fish in it. They put more crunch and cucumbers in there than the fish. On top of that, the rice on these rolls seemed low quality/preparation as well. I just called if they still open for delivery sometimes they take order even they closed. Lady answers the phone and tells me they are closed but then she goes to ask somebody if they can do it. I don't speak Their language i dont know what they were talking about I just know they were talking for couple of minute with me I the line still and then she just hung up on me with any explanation. Horrible service. We were the only people dining in and we were basically invisible to the staff. I saw the chef finish our order and a takeout order at the same time and the waitress decided to bag the take-out order and then check her phone instead of taking two seconds to bring us two plates.
