This is me and my partners go-to spot for sushi and they always deliver a delicious and satisfying meal. Their menu is reasonably priced from $2.50 miso soup to special rolls staring at around $10. They offer a variety of different fancy rolls to choose from - we always order a new one everytime to try something new. My go to rolls are usually their Jade Roll or a classic spicy yellowtail roll. We usually do takeout when ordering since their space is kinda small - around like 3 or 4 tables. The staff was also super friendly over the phone and at pick up. However, the sushi wasn't that great. Didn't leave me wanting to come back for more. To start, the rolls are tiny. There's not much rice to them. I found that two of my seven rolls had harder rice, which wasn't to appetizing. The other five rolls with softer rice were better. One of the better sushi spots in the area. Prices are the lowest of all other sushi spots in the area (Koshi, Ninja, Aki, Sea Shea) but portion sizes are also smaller!! Sushi is always fresh as more people order from here probably due to the lower prices. Portion sizes also vary depending on the day of the week you order (refer to pictures of same salmon lover order placed on two different nights, you can visibly see one of the orders is 25 percent smaller than the other). Believe it or not, this is our favorite sushi spot. Located off the beaten path, it is never very busy when we go and seems like they get more takeout then dine-in. We hardly ever deviate from the same sushi rolls! Snow Mountain (crab and shrimp tempura), Crazy Lobster (lobster with crab), and Wonderful (shrimp tempura with mango on top), and classic spicy tuna. The combinations are great and they don't even need soy sauce or spicy mayo. We sit and eat in silence - a true sign that the food is delicious! The place is usually fairly quiet when I eat in and service is always super friendly and tentative. Frankly, I wish I had a better experience with this place after reviewing all the positive feedback. First time visiting this place and I am rather disappointed. Pros: convenient online ordering, not too hard to find with the GPS, friendly staff, great prices! Cons: very small parking lot and less than mediocre quality of sushi. I ordered the salmon avocado and the queen rolls. The salmon quality was not the best. Instead of a bright coral pink color of what good salmon should look like, their salmon had a dull translucent color to it. There wasn't too much rice with that roll either. The queen roll, consisting of crunchy and spicy tuna topped with tuna, tilapia, and avocado wasn't that great either. I like to do this thing where I pick apart at least one piece and try the ingredients individually. The tilapia was really really cold as if it came right out of the freezer...and it was too chewy. Some of the crunchy was too hard and clumpy as if it had been sitting there all day and dried up, not the softy crunchy I'm usually use to. Like I said, I really wished for good quality sushi and was rather excited for it, but I was let down. At least I didn't get a stomachache. My family orders from here at least once a month and we've tried several rolls but the sweet potato are our favorite (add eel sauce). I ordered the seaweed salad, pork gyoza, three special rolls, and a salmon avocado / tuna avocado roll. The fish was not fresh and the taste was very mediocre. The presentation was not nice at all, I have had better sushi from the supermarket. My boyfriend only ate a couple of pieces and had to stop, as it wasn't appetizing or appealing. I suppose a red flag was the huge sign on the storefront that said "50% off delivery" - if they craving business that much, there must be something wrong with the food. Sushi You! Oh the joys of my favorite very local sushi spot. It literally takes me less than 5 minutes to get here, and it never disappoints when I'm in need of a quick sushi fix. One thing I'll tell you off the bat, do not let that "50% off sushi" throw you off into thinking this place is cheap. The prices are good, but their "full price" for basic rolls such as a Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, Philadelphia, etc. are ridiculously high. Luckily, this 50% off price on these rolls is pretty much a "permanent" discount. I feel this place has been around long enough to dump that 50% off sushi promo since most people have seen the sign already and realized the "trick". However, all tricking aside, Sushi You is a solid choice if you live nearby. Along with the usual "50% off rolls", they have specialty rolls which are delicious. My personal favorites are the following: Dynamite Roll: A fried roll with salmon, yellowtail, crab, avocado, masago, asparagus and scallions. Fire Island: Spicy crab tempura topped with spicy tuna and scallions. Godzilla: Alaska snow crab and avocado topped with eel and tobiko. Snow Mountain: Shrimp tempura topped with snow crab Volcano: Shrimp tempura topped with eel and spicy sauce. Xanadu: Spicy tuna tempura with cucumber topped with salmon, avocado and yellowtail. One roll that I got recently that I liked was one of their specials: Linsanity Roll: Inside and outside has a combination of spicy fish (i.e. tuna, salmon, etc). (Forgot what exactly was in it, but I felt it had a good mix of flavors. They have the typical appetizers of different types of tempura and soups, along with fried ice cream for dessert. The fried ice cream is made upon order and is actually partially on fire when you get it! The place itself is very small, around 2-3 two-seat tables and 3-4 four-seat tables.
