After checking them out online, I was very excited to see what they had to offer. However, when I got there, I was quickly disappointed. There was only one employee who was busy appraising jewelry for a customer. This would not have been a problem, but it honestly seemed very unwelcoming how completely we were ignored. A simple "Welcome to our store. If you need anything I can help you momentarily" is nice, but I am not the type of person that gets huffy if I don't get greeted, but I was completely invisible for at least 5+ minutes while we waited by the display we were interested in trying to make eye contact from 5 feet away. I guess he realized we weren't going to leave, because he decided to help us. I was finally able to try on some pieces, but the lighting in there was so poor (unlike traditional jewelry stores that are very well lit) that I really had a hard time seeing the pieces I was trying on. I know vintage pieces were designed to be viewed in candlelight, but that's not the case anymore, and it would be nice to clearly see what I am planning on purchasing. Also, everything looked really nice online and had ratings of VS2+, yet in the poor lighting, there appeared to be significant flaws in the diamonds that were visible to the naked eye. To me, a lot of the pieces looked like they had taken a beating. Besides being a cold experience, at one point, while we were looking at one tray of rings, the guy pointed out that one was missing so he would know not to assume we stole something. What?!? Besides the fact that I apparently look like a jewel thief, are you going to seriously say that to a customer?? Maybe Pamela is what makes this store slightly friendly (she was not in this day) but the employee she had working there last Saturday, left me still hunting, thoroughly disappointed, and slightly insulted.

Pretty good deal.

You write down all of your favorites and then narrow it down your list to the top 4 scents you think smell best together to create your own signature candle. You can also make a reed defuser, room spray, or soap as an alternative option. Before pouring the wax and mixing your scents, you choose from their selection of jars, ranging in price around $40-60. After creating your candle and naming your scent, it takes around 90-120 minutes for it set. I think the experience could be elevated with a few things: An option to customize your candle with glitter, color of wick, color of wax, ability to select a cute label with your scent's name or create one, even a label maker would do the trick. They have some cute vessels, but I would love to see more variety in different styles, colors, and sizes. I asked the owner, Marleen what ingredients were in the fragrance oils and she couldn't really give me a complete answer other than they are not 100% essential oils but they're synthetic and safe because they don't buy them from overseas. hmmm.... With that said, I'm sure they contain toxins like phthalates and ethyl methoxycinnamates. Reputable brands of oils will clearly label their products and disclose all the components. I try to use scents, body care, and household cleaners free from toxins so this is a little concerning not knowing what chemicals are in the candle. I'm sensitive to irritants which aggravate my asthma and also give me headaches. I just wish i knew for sure what was in this magical potion of oils we mixed. Overall, I had a fun time and made some great memories. It's a unique activity for a date night or group outing with friends that all ages can enjoy.

We started by smelling several scents, they have 90 scents to smell - I skipped some that weren't appealing like bacon and old books LOL Be sure to grab you a bag of coffee beans to cleanse your scent palette. I don't want to spoil the process so I won't tell you everything! So just go ahead and make a reservation, the fee goes towards your reservation at the end. I'm going to wait 2 weeks before light my custom candle so that I get the best scent payout. It's worth the money. You can make a candle, room diffuser, and/or room spray. Not a great experience here. We took two watches in to get fixed. For one we paid $90 to get a…read morecrown fixed because it had fallen off. When we picked up that watch the crown was attached, but the winding movement was notchy. So we took it back to remedy the problem. Two weeks later, when we were able to pick up the watch, we found that the crown still had that sloppy and notchy winding movement. The second watch was a Rolex that stopped self winding. Got the estimate back that it'll be $800 to fix. We bit the bullet and went through with it. When it came time to pick it up, they had polished the sh!t out of the watch. I asked them to remove the polish and make it look like my old watch. Next day picked up the watch and it looked good again. The watch now is back to self winding, but it runs fast. Jeeze. Forget it. Both watches not fixed correctly, cost $890, had to go to the shop at least 4 times.

Well they do have coats during the fall and winter seasons, but come the end of January you'll be hard-pressed to find one. If you come in here looking for a deal on a coat you really are left with a bare minimum of what you'll find and not really at a deeper discount than any other time of year. They do also carry lots of clothes, children's toys, baby items, and other things. There's a nice selection of men's dress shirts and ties, and the children's clothing area particularly for little girls is kind of nice. The dressing room area is a disaster so be aware of that if you do have to try something on, and for some reason you think that most of the cashier's it might be their first day. Take that as whatever interpretation you want, but check out usually is a longer experience than a normal Marshalls or TJ Maxx type place. You could compare Burlington to one of those type of stores but it's a little less underwhelming and you won't really find that good of a deal in my opinion. If you're really in a pinch to look for something or need a baby shower item, which is what I usually stop in for, then you might find something here. That's the best I can tell you.

They understand my mother was an elderly woman who loves her bracelet (didn't matter if it was fashionable to fine jewelry) but just needed a different claps bc her disability of her fingers; she just doesn't have the fine motor skills to get her bracelet on by herself, so I got her an easier clasp to be put on and they were able to altered it promptly! They truly were sincere in hearing the sentimental story about my mother's bracelet and went all out to make sure it fit her tiny wrist and installed an easier clasps for her tiny fingers. I told them it's hard finding a genuine custom made jeweler who truly is knowledgeable, can also alter and can fix existing jewelry these days! This experience I had with them really wanted me to come back in the near future for any jewelry issues and/or wanting a new costume made jewelry (a hint for my husband to checkout for my jewelry wishlist at their location;). I highly recommend them, we need these wonderful family businesses to stay in business! I've been to other major big fine jewelry stores like Tiffany's but was never been greeted and treated as a valuable customer when I first walked into their door! They truly care for whatever your jewelry maybe! FYI they just open a new store in Farmington Hills off of orchard Lake and that's when I had the pleasure talking with the owner Kevin and Harout!
