It's an impressive list with a wide variety of crafting options and skill levels. I've done two workshops so far and attended a handful of events, each one was absolutely fantastic! And last but certainly not least - there's a great cafe in the back with big tables for laptop-ing, chatting, writing - whatever you fancy, you can do it here, and with a delicious cup of coffee/tea! They are known for using actual manhole covers in Detroit to make prints on clothing, which I think is really cool and would make a great souvenir for any Detroit lover. I previously stopped into a local grocery store to purchase a balloon, but didn't get any service despite being in the department for 10 minutes. I decided to take my business elsewhere and knew I needed to stop into Party Adventure in downtown SCS. Parking is located in the back. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two kind individuals, who let me peruse and admire all the balloons and various party items. I walked out with a large Mylar balloon and a garden flag for $14. Prices were great and I loved being able to support a local spot. Will definitely be making it a habit of stopping in.
