Working with Susie on a custom engagement ring was an incredible experience. She walks you through the whole process step-by-step and made buying a ring (which I expected to be nerve wracking) entirely enjoyable. And as for the ring - it is stunning! The only person more excited about how it turned out is my fiancée, which is certainly the desired result. She is a member of Susie's massive Instagram following, which is why I sought to work with her. Susie is based out of NYC and I'm in Tampa. She coordinated everything over phone and email in a very efficient manner. This was my process with her: initial consultation, diamond sourcing and review, another round of diamond sourcing with feedback, diamond selection, ring/setting consultation, ring/setting design via computer imaging (measured to your unique diamond), final design selection (she'll run as many options as you want), ring creation, photos/videos of finished product, appraisal, and finally insured shipping - she does all of this. I was initially cautious about doing everything remotely, but she takes such high quality pictures and videos throughout that it ended up being easier. Buying a ring is a big deal, and Susie makes it easy. Even with my limited vocabulary and sense of design, Susie was able to extract exactly what my fiancée wanted and made an absolutely gorgeous ring. The last thing I'll say is she is very transparent on pricing and I was able to independently verify that I got a good deal on the diamond. When you factor in her custom design, setting, cost of labor, appraisal, insured shipping (and everything else I'm forgetting) it feels like a steal when you see the final product in person. Susie is absolutely incredible! I knew I wanted a marquis engagement ring -- it's a shape that's been special to me for a long time -- but they can be hard to find, especially in a classic and elegant setting. I came across Susie on Instagram and absolutely fell in love with her signature Everly marquis setting. Susie worked with my fiancé to create the PERFECT ring. Even though we are on the West Coast, Susie sourced diamonds in New York, sent options for review, and was very responsive, making it all work remotely. Once I received the ring (which was still a total surprise to me!), I realized I would need to figure out what to do about a wedding band. Given the elongated shape and low setting of the engagement ring, I wasn't sure how I would be able to pair a band with it -- something I hadn't thought of in advance. I had my heart set on a simple, full-diamond band. Susie truly made my dreams a reality with a custom band that fits exactly flush with my engagement ring, with a small space for the center stone of my engagement ring to sit. I've never seen a band like this before -- it's truly one of a kind and SO beautiful. It's everything I dreamed of. On top of all of this, Susie was able to work with us to stay within our budget. Can I give 10 stars?!?!! My (now) fiancee has followed Susie's work for years and has always talked so highly of her design and taste being an exact match for the type of ring she would want! After trying our luck with local jewelers, we found ourselves constantly coming back to Susie's website and perusing her Instagram.
