We had also seen plenty of positive reviews before making the trip, so maybe we just caught them on an off day. I was disappointed to find out afterward that they have a Sunday brunch menu with a lot more options, including dishes like catfish and shrimp. Even a table of older ladies sitting beside us mentioned wishing they served cornbread--or any type of bread. There were no rolls, biscuits, cornbread...nothing. Personally, I think offering some of those Sunday menu options every day would make the menu much better. I was disappointed after driving over two hours to try this restaurant, but I am willing to give it another chance. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment.
