Incredibly unsatisfied with my cake. I put this order in…read moreabout 3 weeks ago, sent pictures with specifics to Jordan, and ordered 12 mini cupcakes on top of that. The cake was INCREDIBLE OVERPRICED! Well over $230 and thats for the smallest size (6 inch). On pickup today, i was so unhappy. It looked like a shein/temu version of what i had hoped for. Cheap decorative toppings. The girl who was working suggested I put it in the front seat so it wont move around too much. Welp! It DID! The top smashed into the box and the top layer started sliding off the bottom layer! I was angry! Because how does this place charge a lot more than your average shop and not have secure & larger boxes to place the cakes in!!!!! Wal mart could have done a better job for 1/6 of the price!!!! The yellow is what i wanted. The pink is the shein/temu version. Will not be ordering here again not recommending!

Thank you so much to the worker who saved the day and helped saved the birthday!!…read more I came in July after a terrible weekend and desperately needing a vanilla cake for a birthday. There was a family emergency that made it so all plans had to be cancelled and it was already a difficult time due to the emergency. I wanted to get a nice cake from a local bakery to help make up for the cancelled plans, so it can still feel like a birthday. I had tried several other places, but was unsuccessful. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect. I appreciate that she went above and beyond to try and help, especially because it was after closing and the cake that was provided to me wasn't originally for sale. Thank you so much!

Omg. Like I host those for my minis but I would love to go to one where I don't have to do set up and prep. Yasss. Anyway, people are super nice there. Good vibes. I'll have to stop off at the actual shop sometime. The goods: They looked tasty so obvi I ordered a bunch. Giant macarons, peanut butter sandwich, oatmeal cream pie and chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie has a sprinkle of sea salt on top, exactly how I like mine. It was FULL of chocolate chips. It's the only way. It wasn't too sweet, but obvi is sweet as it's a chocolate chip cookie. It was soft and chewy and these remind me of chocolate chip cookies my mom used to make when I was a child in the Midwest and she sold them to the ragbrai cyclists. Buy lots of these. The oatmeal cream pie is like an elevated Little Debbie in a big way. If you like oatmeal cream pies, this does not disappoint. The oatmeal cookie isn't too dense and even with the filling is sweet but hopscotches the line of sweet/too sweet. Overall if you have a glass of milk or coffee or tea with this, it's a treat. The peanut butter sandwich cookie. Perfect for peanut butter lovers. The filling is also peanut butter. If you are a peanut butter lover, you need to eat this. The giant macarons, were pretty close to how you want macarons to taste. It was a tiny bit too sweet for me. But I'm sure it's completely fine with a cup of tea or coffee. Crisp exterior, chewy almond goodness with a soft vanilla Swiss buttercream filling. I like that it's not super dense filling. Will I buy from there again? Absolutely.

We flew into Arizona on a Wednesday and reached out to her in between flights to see if she could make a birthday cake for the next day--and she made it happen! Not only did she take on our very last-minute request, but she was also so flexible with pickup times and just so genuinely kind throughout the whole process. The cake itself was delicious--so good, in fact, that everyone dove in and finished it before I could even get a picture! I can't recommend Emma and her business enough. If you're in the area, definitely support her--you won't regret it!

I really wanted to love this cake, especially because it was for my 50th birthday celebration…read more Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with both the appearance and, ultimately, the cake itself. I provided an inspiration image knowing, of course, that no baker can or should be expected to recreate an image exactly. However, the deep plum color and understated gold details were the defining elements of the design I requested. What I received was a much lighter Easter egg purple, and the large yellow/gold medallion on the front looked very different from the elegant, subtle design I had envisioned. I ended up spending an additional $40 on fresh orchids myself to help bring the cake closer to the look I wanted. I had hoped that, regardless of my disappointment with the design, the cake itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, it didn't. The cake was surprisingly dense while also being very dry, and the flavor was underwhelming. Even eating the leftovers a few days later, I found myself thinking again about how disappointing it was. At $250, I expected much more! Not perfection and certainly not an exact replica of an inspo mage, but a cake that reflected the overall aesthetic we discussed or at least a heads up that she was unable to create the design. And, most importantly, tasted delicious. Sadly, this one missed the mark on both. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I don't write this to be unkind. But for a milestone celebration and at this price point, I think it's fair for future customers to know what my experience was. Despite letter her know how disappointed I was, no offer for a discount or partial refund was offered which would have been appropriate.
