Hot towels in the room and waterfall sound was nice in addition to the pleasant aroma & music. Everything smelled wonderful. I reccomend this place for light to medium massages. I like deep tissue because I have knots. That is what I asked for unfortunately I received a light to massage. It was still nice just not what I was wanting which is why I only gave 4 stars. They did not charge the extra for deep tissue. However, they should have offered a complete replacement. read more

I wanted to get a massage while visiting the area, so I checked Yelp and found this awesome day spa. I booked an appointment with Rhonda and enjoyed a deep tissue massage and a body scrub. Rhonda applied a lot of pressure to the spots where I needed it the most, which is just what I like. She didn't even let up when I told her it was intense, instead she helped me breathe through it. The robes, footwear, locker room, sauna, and relaxation room all were very clean and quiet, which added to this great experience. If I lived in the area, I would be coming back often. read more

Went to the spa for gel nails and brow waxing. My gel nails were rough around the edges and polish was incomplete. Also - the UV light curing device felt like it was burning my fingers - very painful. After the brow waxing and clean up, I saw that I had scars all around my eyebrowswhere the skin was damaged. I was pleasantly surprised by this spa, and I consider myself a spa snob! I had a very relaxing wrap which began with a pleasant exfoliation. Then I had a nice shower with a 6 nozzles-way better than home. Then it was topped off with a relaxing 90 minute massage. My therapist-Rhonda- was accommodating, wearing a mask and thankfully did not talk all the way through the treatments! On my next visit to Texas will return! read more

I badly needed a mani & pedi so I looked around for a spa that I haven't been to before. I came across Sutera and liked that they offer a variety of services. I had a mani & pedi done on different days as they were pretty booked up when I called. The atmosphere is wonderful. Everyone was friendly. My pedi was super relaxing--she even dimmed the chandelier during my massage and foot soak. You instantly relax when you walk in the door. The spa is clean and peaceful. Kelly is a magician. I've never had a massage therapist listen to me so well. And, she has a strong knowledge of anatomy and what to do to relieve pain. I'll be back. While the inside of the building is gorgeous and makes you feel instantly relaxed, I was not a fan of everything at Sutera. I got a package there that included a pedicure, massage, and facial, and I had to get them done in that order. The thing is, for the massage and facial they ask you to take off everything but your underwear and put on a towel robe. Well since I had to get the pedicure first I sat out in the open, up high on a pedicure chair, in that robe (which wasn't great at staying closed) and I felt really uncomfortable. Obviously I did not need to undress to receive a pedicure but decided meh, I can deal. I picked up a small pillow and placed it over my lap to better cover myself. I then moved to a private room to receive my massage, which was fine. However this is where it gets super uncomfortable. Once I was done with that and had to wait for my facial, they put me in a waiting room that had a man present, fully clothed. A-w-k-w-a-r-d. I don't even know if he was waiting for a service, because if he was wouldn't he have also been in a robe? The weird dichotomy of it made me feel exposed. Maybe some people don't really care about that kind of thing but I don't like the thought of one of my body parts falling out for someone to see, especially an adult man. We both sat there for a good fifteen minutes before the esthetician came along and told me to go inside. I couldn't get in there fast enough. I'm not sure if the robe thing is still their policy but if it is, they need to explain upfront that 1) you'll be walking from room to room in that robe, 2) you'll be visible to everyone else receiving services, and 3) if you're uncomfortable by that prospect you don't have to wear it the entire time. Either that or implement separate waiting rooms. They made what was supposed to be a relaxing day an anxiety-inducing experience and it has made me not want to go back. read more

This is one of the best spas in the area. They treat you really well. When you go in, you are given a locker and a Kashwere Robe and slippers. You can go to the locker room and change, shower and sauna if you want. You come back out to a beautiful waiting area with fruit and water and big comfy chairs. Your therapist will come get you and take you back. When you come out, you can lounge in this area again and just relax. I like that they have showers, in case you feel oily. Overall an amazing spa and every therapist I've had there has been wonderful. read more
