Both massages were perfect!! My husband and I always get massages together and usually one of us thinks it could have been better but this time we both thought it was fabulous. We don't usually go for the sauna, pools or special showers at spas so I like that this plan doesn't have a bunch of that stuff, I think it makes the cost so much more reasonable. There is another spa that I have been wanting to try but for the same service, the cost is double... after yesterday's experience, there is honestly no reason to try anywhere else. I want to say, this spa knows what they're doing. I had a Swedish massage completed by Louisa. Not only was this massage therapeutic, but it was informed. I was silent for the entirety of the treatment but I could tell that Louisa was tuning into my areas of dysfunction with intention. Although massage therapy is a completely different field from the field in which I've trained (osteopathic medicine), I felt as if she was promoting self-healing during our treatment session. A few years ago, I initially booked at Sutera because they offer weekend/extended hours which help with my schedule (work full time/2 children/husband travels every week). I met Tera at that time and haven't wavered on returning back to her every single time for facials. She is amazing at what she does and is an amazing person. I had an aromatherapy massage with Louisa and an anti-aging facial with Kimberly. I have found my people. The spa is clean and nice. I felt completely safe during covid times. I opted for a Swedish massage instead of a deep tissue and it was so nice. Louisa knows what she is doing. I could feel all the yuck slip away as she rubbed and soothed. I look forward to a deep tissue with her in the future. Kimberly is exactly who is missing from my life. She told me I am dehydrated and I know very well it's true. For her to see it showing signs in my face I realize I have to fix it. She educated me and wants to sell me products BUT she wants to know exactly what I already have so she can counsel me through what I may already own. She understands it can be hard to buy a lot of products at one time. So you know what she did? She gave me a consultation appointment for later today and in the meantime I will go home and gather my facial products and bring them with me. Then she will help me prioritize what products I need. She also gave me a hydration packet to mix with water that she really likes so I could try it. I'm happy with my visit. I'll update in a few months. read more

Very nice therapist. BEAUTIFUL facility. Front desk ladies were super nice. O was offered a robe upon arrival. Hot towels in the room and waterfall sound was nice in addition to the pleasant aroma & music. Everything smelled wonderful. I reccomend this place for light to medium massages. I like deep tissue because I have knots. That is what I asked for unfortunately I received a light to massage. It was still nice just not what I was wanting which is why I only gave 4 stars. They did not charge the extra for deep tissue. However, they should have offered a complete replacement. read more

I wanted to get a massage while visiting the area, so I checked Yelp and found this awesome day spa. I booked an appointment with Rhonda and enjoyed a deep tissue massage and a body scrub. Rhonda applied a lot of pressure to the spots where I needed it the most, which is just what I like. She didn't even let up when I told her it was intense, instead she helped me breathe through it. The robes, footwear, locker room, sauna, and relaxation room all were very clean and quiet, which added to this great experience. If I lived in the area, I would be coming back often. read more

Went to the spa for gel nails and brow waxing. My gel nails were rough around the edges and polish was incomplete. Also - the UV light curing device felt like it was burning my fingers - very painful. After the brow waxing and clean up, I saw that I had scars all around my eyebrowswhere the skin was damaged. I'll probably have keloid scars around my eyes because of this terrible spa visit! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this spa, and I consider myself a spa snob! I had a very relaxing wrap which began with a pleasant exfoliation. Then I had a nice shower with a 6 nozzles-way better than home. Then it was topped off with a relaxing 90 minute massage. My therapist-Rhonda- was accommodating, wearing a mask and thankfully did not talk all the way through the treatments! On my next visit to Texas will return! read more

I badly needed a mani & pedi so I looked around for a spa that I haven't been to before. I came across Sutera and liked that they offer a variety of services. While the inside of the building is gorgeous and makes you feel instantly relaxed, I was not a fan of everything at Sutera. I got a package there that included a pedicure, massage, and facial, and I had to get them done in that order. The thing is, for the massage and facial they ask you to take off everything but your underwear and put on a towel robe. Well since I had to get the pedicure first I sat out in the open, up high on a pedicure chair, in that robe (which wasn't great at staying closed) and I felt really uncomfortable. Obviously I did not need to undress to receive a pedicure but decided meh, I can deal. I picked up a small pillow and placed it over my lap to better cover myself. I then moved to a private room to receive my massage, which was fine. However this is where it gets super uncomfortable. Once I was done with that and had to wait for my facial, they put me in a waiting room that had a man present, fully clothed. A-w-k-w-a-r-d. I don't even know if he was waiting for a service, because if he was wouldn't he have also been in a robe? The weird dichotomy of it made me feel exposed. Maybe some people don't really care about that kind of thing but I don't like the thought of one of my body parts falling out for someone to see, especially an adult man. We both sat there for a good fifteen minutes before the esthetician came along and told me to go inside. I couldn't get in there fast enough. I'm not sure if the robe thing is still their policy but if it is, they need to explain upfront that 1) you'll be walking from room to room in that robe, 2) you'll be visible to everyone else receiving services, and 3) if you're uncomfortable by that prospect you don't have to wear it the entire time. Either that or implement separate waiting rooms. They made what was supposed to be a relaxing day an anxiety-inducing experience and it has made me not want to go back. read more
