Claimed she told us at pickup that we weren't charged for the sub, then claimed we were given credit for the sub (neither of which is true). She proceeded to tell us (in an obnoxious and rude tone) that the sub was made the way she likes her subs, NEWS FLASH, customers typically order food the way THEY like it. The rudeness and unprofessional approach was not needed in ANY way. I understand that you may be busy around dinner time (you're a restaurant for goodness sake)....that's also not an acceptable excuse for the way you handled this situation. Will not recommend anyone to go there, if they want to be treated with respect as a paying customer.

The owner was just closing up after the lunch business, but was kind enough to stay open to accommodate our little group. We had two pizzas: a large works and a plain cheese. It is Under New Management now they have free delivery in town, later hours, and starting soon if not already they will be delivering beer on Friday and Saturday night. Who would have thunk someone would be delivering beer in Cardington. Haha He also stated that they make fresh pizza dough with a new recipe everyday and changed their sauce. We have not tried their pizza yet but will be trying it next time. Would recommend their chicken and logs to everyone. Would be or will be a 5-star rating if their Pizza is as good as the chicken.

The wait staff was fine, nothing over the top but polite and attentive enough. The big issue of the night was the pizza. It took about 45 minutes to come out, which was surprising given the restaurant wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the center was undercooked and raw--a real disappointment. Management was very understanding and offered to make another, but with the time already invested we couldn't wait around for a second attempt. On the positive side, the appetizers were really good, and the wings were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. That alone makes me want to give them another chance.
