Pizza has gone down hill. The amount of toping they put on there pizza has shrunk if you order a pizza that happens to have sausage or ham toping on it you get ver few pieces of either. Got a large all meat not long ago there were 8 pieces of ham on it (JOKE). They have no sign on there door of there cash register that they charge a few for using a credit card and a fee for using your bank card.IT IS THE LAW THAT IF THEY CHARGE A FEW IT MUST BE POSTED ON THERE DOOR AND AT THE CASH REGESTER (look it up). When they sold there Mt Vernon store why in the world would you shut down your Fredericktown store for a week. A good way to loose customers. Past couple week weeks there A/C has been down and by my guess they do not have the money to repair it. Seems it about time for the owner to put Pep's pizza up for sale and get an owner who in there that can bring it back to to what Peppys pizza used to be and what it stood for in Fredericktown Ohio read more

This place was great a few years ago but after today's visit, we will not be back. This afternoon our family of four were caught in a bad storm and ran into the restaurant. It was 4:10'pm and they opened up at 4pm. We walked in and were not greeted by staff who were behind the counter and in the back kitchen. Not one person greeted us. Is it that difficult to say, "Hello, welcome in. May we help you? " We approached the counter to order and an older blond lady looks at us and says, "We won't be able to get your food to you til after 6pm because we have a 22 pizza order. I said, "Could we just get one pizza and you could make it before the 22 pizza order since we came in. (There was no one else in the restaurant) . She said, "No, we have to do this order first." I was shocked, "There was no apology, no "I'm sorry." While my family and one child who has medical/special needs stood there soak in wet from the storm, this employee had no empathy at all. Just plain and simple...RUDE. Too many other establishments to spend your hard earned money on people who just don't have etiquette or manners. First off, why would you even open your restaurants doors if you aren't taking orders? We wanted to have a nice place to sit down and have ONE PIZZA. Just one pizza! Shame on you. Do better or lock your doors and just take phone orders. Luckily good ol' Dominos was open two doors down and our family had the three nicest gentleman greet us, take our order, and had our food out in less than 10 minutes. read more

Used to be amazing..but now the owners are lazy and so are the workers.thy close hours early.terrible customer service.dont answer the phones.list goes on.sad to see this places downfall.should have never been sold to the newer owners. read more

This place is a must for anyone that calls themselves a pizza lover. The little cups of pepperoni grease is a plus in anyone's book (or should be). The pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms was in plenty supply as toppings and the mushrooms, STHU I could have ordered a mushrooms pizza alone. A little price, a 15 large pizza was 17.30 bit really worth the experience. I'm short fat, and bald, but a drive thru were I don't have to get out of the car. Yeah I'm all about that. read more

I was thrilled that Peppys in Fredericktown had new owners and they delivered. When I would place an order I'd always ask that they tell the driver to ring the doorbell when they got here because when we are in the family room we can't hear someone knock on the front door. Sooo...after all the times we order from Peppys...about once a week...our doorbell has been rung ONCE. The driver has actually left our order on the FRONT PORCH & left. So the other night we ordered and I told the manager herself to please tell the driver to ring the bell. So what happens? He came & knocked on the door...AGAIN! If I hadn't opened the front door incase he knocked...I'd never of heard him. I opened the door and tapped the doorbell and told him..this is a doorbell. He said no one ever told him to ring the bell. Ii believe he's lying. Either he is or the manager is. Anyway, he cried to the "boss lady"...told her I was rude to him and she told them not to deliver to us anymore. Just to be clear..I've always tipped very well for a delivery that is A MILE from the store...even the time our order was left on the porch & the bell was never rung. I called the "boss lady" to give her my side of the story & she was rude & I was more or less called a liar. She told me I could still order & pick it up. HA! If our business is no more important than that..she can shove it. Sooo...instead of trying to keep a VERY good customer, they've lost one. We have ordered from Pizza Dock for years so I guess we'll go back to giving them our money since Peppys doesn't want it read more

GREAT PIZZA! Found this awesome pizza place by chance on our way back from hiking. Not too thick, not too thin, crust is perfect, cheese is perfect, friendly staff, ran into someone from 15 years ago and learned "Peppy's" name comes from "Pepe Le Pew" . Tell everyone about this place and the town is cool to visit as well. read more

Pizza was fine. They make thin crust pizza. We are from out of town and pizza is a bit more complex where we come from which makes it hard to review Peppy's. For example this pizza was $14 and pizza at home is $35 for a large so it is hard to compare. The pizza was fine and the staff was very nice. If you looking for decent pizza Peppy's would qualify. read more

People kept telling me about Peppy's. Went to the one in Mount Vernon an order small EBA. They have wall to wall topping on the pizza. Beat all other pizza places. Little more expensive but I am firm believer in you get what you pay for. Highly recommend you try this. Only thing my hearts go out to the employee as she has to run the drive thru an pizza orders. 40 minutes from order to p/u your pizza but was worth the wait. Definitely has my business. read more

This pizza is amazing! Definitely a TO GO pizza joint. Dough was cooked to perfection not to doughy and not at all dry or "well done" the sausage on the pizza was premium sausage and not peppered so no kicked back after a few bites of pepper! Veggies on top we're fresh tasting and even fresh looking. And let's talk about cheese. Super delicious pizza. My boyfriend and I just happened to end up here and didn't know what to expect. The employees are nice and super friendly, the pizza itself is amazing. We got a large chicken ranch pizza and then drove half an hour to get it home... even cold we can't stop eating it because it's so good. We stopped here because of the reviews. My father and I both ordered the deluxe sandwich. It was a really good sandwich. The meat was good quality, the sauce they put on it was pretty good and the other toppings that go on it were decent. The only thing that would have made it better would have been fresh baked bread and no canned mushrooms. The bread they used was good, but fresh would have been better and the canned mushrooms threw me off a little. Regardless, we both thought the sandwich was good. The staff was really polite and the baked sandwich came out in about 10 minutes which seems just right. I would definitely go here again. read more

it depends whos working whether the food is good or not. zero consistency ,cannot follow directions, cut corners to save a few cents was just there on 3/14/2021 pizza had 2 cuts in it 2 calzones for 2 different people in the same box on the same foil 1 was supposed to be well done hard to do on the same piece of foil. kitchen staff to worried about talking and giggling than doing their jobs and short manager that looks like a bullfrog didnt care about any of it oblivious to anything a complete waste of 36 bucks i would NEVER SEND THEM BUSINESS NOR WILL WE EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! read more
