Another fantastic breakfast at Suzie's! We love to stop in before getting our nails done and we have never been disappointed. They really have something for everyone and always have a variety of different specials every day. I am slowly making my way through their griddle menu and I love that there are multiple options with ice cream treats on them!

Went here with a group and we all enjoyed our food! I got the corned beef hash (REAL corned beef hash, none of that canned stuff). It was so good! Our server was very kind and answered all of our questions.

Tucked away on a quiet corner, this cozy little diner might be easy to miss--but once you've tasted the food, you'll never forget it. With its retro booths, handwritten chalkboard menus, and warm, welcoming staff, the diner feels like stepping into a comforting slice of Americana.

Early morning snowy Sunday breakfast before grocery shopping. We got a couple coffees, I got the breakfast burrito and the wife got a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. Everything was great and priced perfectly. It was our first time going since we moved to Hudson but we will definitely be returning.

This diner kept popping up on my Yelp, so we finally tried it. The turnover is very quick. There was a line when we arrived, but within five minutes we were seated.. The food was excellent. The portions were plentiful. Pretty typical diner, but very clean and comfortable.

We went here for breakfast before heading on our weekend getaway and we're glad we did. It's a small diner but with lots of nice locals who many seem to be regulars and the servers knew them by name. Everybody was cheerful and nice. Good vibes, clean tables and prompt service. Food was made to order and brought out piping hot. Everything we had was delicious and portions were huge. Their homemade hash is s must try.

First off, the staff are SO friendly here! The bar lady who was describing the specials to me seemed wicked eager about a few of them. I wondered if she had practiced that speech in front of a mirror every night before bed. Or perhaps she really does love those specials (even though I can't remember what they are at the moment). Next, we have the interior. Now....a brief background for the non-locals not familiar with the history of this location: In the not too distant past, this place used to be called "Donna's Place", which was subsequently shutdown for reasons unbeknownst to me. However, the general layout is similar to its predecessor; with the exception of the table rearrangements. They ostensibly retained the bar and even threw in a few add-ons to the overhead. Also, just a caveat when you first arrive: you have to use the side entrance instead of the one facing the street. Okay. We gotta talk about the coffee real quick. While the roast itself presents a nice bold flavor, I gotta tell ya....this coffee mug is HUUUUUGE!! I swear to you they bring out like, a bucket of coffee. Thing must be at least 16 ounces! I took a picture of it next to a standard size sugar container for comparison. Friggin' HUUUUUUGE! So far, my all time go-to breakfast is the build your own omelet with cheddar cheese, tomato, and onions with a side of homefries and toast. I've had this combo with and without ham, plus a side of bacon. But I was really curious about the infamous homemade hash. And so it was. I'm still the misfit who prefers canned hash over homemade. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Ordinarily, I'm forced to get used to the trend of homemade hash consisting of shoe-leathery brisket mixed with potatoes, all of which is typically bland. But not this hash. GP's hash is surprisingly well seasoned and tender! It's strange, but almost like a combination of canned and homemade. The corned beef is minced similarly like canned, only with a different texture. It's tricky to explain to folks unfamiliar with hash. All I'm saying is....definitely give this one a try. The omelets here are phenomenal! That's all there is to say, really. Sure, they could be seasoned up a bit (along with the potatoes). But this is the restaurant biz. Chefs have to play it safe when it comes to salt, after all. As many know, I'm always down for supporting my local hot spots. And this one will certainly remain a continual revisit for moi. Therefore, I'll give The Good Place 5 sensationally built omelets with all the fixins and a side of hash out of 5.

It was buzzing with people the entire time but as it is roomy inside, I never saw anyone having to wait. SERVICE: Adrienne took wonderful care of us, keeping coffee topped off and making sure we had everything we needed. FOOD: Good, solid diner food, fresh ingredients. One pancake was the size of the entire dish, could have used a few more chocolate chips. The campora omlet good, would be made better with something savory added or maybe more garlic/onion spice. Home fries were tasty, grilled english muffin excellent. The corned beef hash is crunchy, preference is for the beef to be a bit softer. The bill can be paid with credit card, but the tip must be in cash. Plenty of parking. Beware, if going during winter, the entrance walkway is barely shoveled, we had issues getting a walker through as one side was a very thick layer of ice, so a tricky entrance and exit. I'd recommend they put way more ice melt down near the entrance and chip away at that ice to prevent falls. The parking lot was nice and clear.

I am in a wheelchair and the staff must have seen us coming as ChrisAnn (unsure of spelling) greeted us and assisted us (husband and I) with the doors (which are not automatic) and, as we entered, stated that she already set us up at the first table, which I found to be above and beyond the typical service of any establishment. The menus were already at the table and a chair removed, to make space for my wheelchair. Both of us ordered the steak tips and eggs, which we both enjoyed, cooked exactly as ordered, and as tasty as one can expect. Husband had his with hash browns (?) [pan-fried potato chunks] & toast; mine with grilled English muffin and a side of baked beans. What I really like was the plating, such that none of the food items ran together, that is, the beans were in a small dish separate from the eggs and English and the steak was on a separate small plate, making it easier to cut (without bumping up against other foods). When our son was a young child, we referred to this as "no-touch-atarian" as he really disliked his foods touching one another. Now, some 30+ years later, I have to agree that some food items are just best as stand-alone items. I would have given a full 5 star rating except that I tend to be slightly more critical with my assessments as they relate to accessibility. The parking lot could use a repainting as the lines and handicapped parking symbols were barely visible. They have a ramp to the entrance but, without automatic doors, it can cause difficulties at the top as there is no level area at the top to allow one to stop and prevent the chair from rolling backwards to allow one to open the door. I have a care giver that gets me in and out, so it is not a huge barrier for me personally but I can see it being difficult for more independent wheelchair users. Access to the restroom is a bit awkward but not impossible And the staff helped with that as well.

Meaning to click on someone's check-in or something, I ended up clicking on this diner instead. I read the menu, saw they had one of my all time favorites (the hash & eggs), then I was instantly sold! Naturally, the hash & eggs lived up to their rep. Cookies offers both canned and house made hash (though I almost always choose the former for personal reasons) and the homefries were well seasoned and crispy on the outside. Unfortunately, as with most breakfast places, they can't seem to butter toast very well. A minor inconvenience, at worst. My recommendation would be to maybe sub this for a bagel with cream cheese (note to self), unless you're one of those jam on toast types. In which case, have at you. The coffee was decent. Obviously a breakfast blend that's not too bold. But at least it didn't taste like tea. Now, I gotta talk about the layout real quick, because it's rather unique. You may have noticed in the outside photo that there's two entrances. That's because the one on the right is meant for handicapped accessibility (hence the ramp). I have to say...that's rather thoughtful of them. Of course, given the inordinately high volume of senior citizens residing in NH, why am I even surprised? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, the interior is interesting because it has these two sections; the main dining area where the restrooms are also located, and a smaller back area with a mini bar and a few other tables. If you manage to be seated at one of the tables along the middle of both areas, there's this open window where you can view the mini bar and kitchen. This is also where the servers operate from if you're sitting at said tables. I hope I described that accurately, since taking photos of the interior without accidentally capturing a few faces was next to impossible. So, would I return? Certainly, if I ever manage to convince the wifey to join me (she's not what you'd call an early riser). The food here is very diner-esque (IYKYK) and I dare say rivals that of The Good Place on Lowell road. I'm giving Cookies Diner 4 plates of savory hash & eggs out of 5.
