Food was delicious and the waitress was super nice. Met my parents here for a late breakfast before they drove directly to New York and it was super easy to find and get to. We got the breakfast and the lunch menu and we all opted for breakfast. My dad drinks decaf because of his heart and the waitress was nice enough to not only brew him a fresh pot but also to double check every single time she filled up the cups at the table to make sure she didn't mess up. The food was good overall however service was slow. I was brought the wrong meal. The waitress did say it was her error but didn't offer to fix the situation. I didn't want to wait the another long while for my food and have the rest of my party wait as well. Money off the bill or a free correct meal to take home would have been appreciated. There seemed to be a discrepancy between the two waitstaff. One offered their tables things without asking (rolls, refills) and got them served faster and the other you had to track down and wait and eventually you did get what you wanted. Would go again especially if we could get the other waiter. I would rate 2.5 stars but that is not an option. read more

I have had breakfast at Bobola's about a dozen times and generally been very satisfied. The food is good, and the prices reasonable, but a few days ago I had issues with the service. I placed my order with my server "Isabella Q", and 5 or 10 minutes later, another server brought my meal, didn't ask if I needed anything else, and ran off quickly, before I had a chance to ask for the jelly. I asked a third server for the jelly, which I got quickly. Soon after, my server was heard to mutter under her breath "I only have two hands" on passing my table. Around the time I finished the meal, I noticed I never got the tea I had ordered. This was of course taken off the check. On passing my table the next time, my server was heard to mutter "Don't come back". It seems to me Isabella Q has a lot to learn about Customer Service. Don't worry, Isabella Q, I will never again bother you with my business. read more

Plenty of food choices and worth going back to try some other items. We did takeout and had the chicken cacciatore and fried haddock sandwich and they were both good. There was enough of the chicken to have 2-3 meals if we wanted to. Food was ready when we got there and nice and fresh when we got home. It's a bit out of the way but we had been by it a few times so knew where to go and glad we tried something new. read more

I'm an so confused about the reviews. We came for breakfast. We sat down and we're totally grossed out at how dirty the place is. Coffee was awful. The waitress brought a bowl of creamers that were half empty and cream split all over them. She noticed and grabbed a couple of the used ones and still placed the rest on the table. Can't say enough good about this place. Had the baked haddock for the first time - a generously sized piece of fish topped with a delicious house stuffing. Like another reviewer mention it is really a hidden Jewel!!! The French onion soup is so good and the onion rings are also!!! I had the chicken Marsala it always really good. The entire staff are so friendly and even I believe the gentleman that prepared our meal came out and asked us how we liked the food. The service was awesome and it was a very comfortable place. Strong attention to detail in food orders and owner often comes out to ask for feedback. Facility is very clean and well organized. Started with onion rings - these should be their signature appetizer, a generous portion crispy and delicious.Eggplant Parm was perfectly done, served over spaghetti. My companion had a baked chicken dish, also very good. Service is always on point without being obtrusive. We've been here twice in 3 days, and it's a solid 4 (3 for food, an extra star for effort!) Hubby and I stopped in on Sunday for a bite and Patriots kickoff. First to arrive in the bar (restaurant closed), we were greeted by the manager and bartender, Diana. She's a hoot, and tries her level best to ensure everyone is happy. The food on Sunday was a subset of the normally very broad menu. Plenty of choices for bar food, unfortunately the regular cook was not working, and the food was less than great. Burger was overcooked (asked for RARE, came medium) and flatbread was soggy (but the sausage, mushroom, sauce and cheese on top were delicious!) Diana assured us the regular cook was terrific, and that folks love the seafood and italian offerings. We decided to give them another shot last night - met friends for an early dinner in the dining room. Diana was right, the regular cook is much better. We ordered a fisherman's platter, baked haddock, and steak tips, plus a few deserts. Meals are generous, prices are reasonable, food is solid. Could be hotter when it hit the table, but that's our only complaint. Deserts taste store bought, but they had a good selection. Looking forward to trying the italian offerings next time. read more

My wife and I wanted to try a new place. She called this place a diamond in the rough. I had one of the specials, my wife had the shrimp scampi. The portions were very large and the food was delicious. The service was good the atmosphere OK. When we were there it was quite busy. Every table was in use, the turnover (wait time) was OK. My boyfriend and I finally ventured here for a Saturday night dinner after meaning to try it for several months. What we found was nothing fancy but still a very clean and inviting restaurant with lots of comfort food. We both ordered the French Onion soup which we enjoyed. They didn't skimp on the cheese but it tasted like they may have used wheat bread or wheat croutons underneath the cheese and my preference is a nice toasted slice of French bread or something similar. It was still yummy though. For dinner my boyfriend and I couldn't decide so we agreed on two meals that both seemed appealing to us (Spaghetti & Meatballs and Pot Roast) so we could share them. Unfortunately they ran out of the Pot Roast which apparently is a common occurrence. So keep in mind if you're in the mood for Pot Roast that you might want to go early. In any case, we selected the Turkey Dinner instead. The food came quickly and we thought both were tasty. I was pleased to see that the meatballs weren't dry but my boyfriend felt that had a little too much Italian herb seasoning in them for his taste. The turkey dinner was definitely something I would order again and the mashed potatoes were delicious and homemade. Service was phenomenal and our waitress, Jessie, was a total doll! We also had several other waitstaff greet us when we arrived and say farewell when we left which was nice. A man (who we assumed was the owner) also inquired about how we liked the food a couple of times so he seemed to take great pride in the establishment. In addition, we witnessed several instances where the waitstaff exhibited great teamwork by helping one another bring out orders or passing along information to one another. That was a nice change after some recent restaurant experiences we've had! One thing we did notice and didn't love though was the noise. Originally we wanted to sit outside but there was a loud, rowdy table out there which deterred us from doing so. When we sat down inside we were then surprised at the amount of noise coming from the kitchen. It was almost as if we were all in the same room together. Then at one point someone in the kitchen started singing which was kind of funny at first but then got a little irritating as we were trying to carry on a conversation and it was disruptive. We heard a nearby table also comment about it too. My only guess is that they are completely unaware of how noisy the kitchen area is when you're in the dining room. All in all, we would absolutely go back. We did enjoy our food, the ambiance (minus the noise) was comfortable and the service was excellent. We tried Bobolas for the first time last weekend, and were so impressed. First, our waitress Mel was super personable and right off the bat you can tell she loves her job and cares about her customers. We ordered the Seafood Bake (scallops were PERFECT), Steak tips, Walnut stuffing haddock and a chicken sandwich and everyone was thrilled with their meal. The portion sizes were big, and the quality was great. The owner even came around to ask everyone about their experience and food. You can tell they take pride in their business and rightfully so! Overall it was a nice experience. The wait staff was friendly, the food was good, and restaurant was clean. We got the fisherman platter and French onion soup. I enjoyed the soup, it wasn't to salty compared to others I had. The fisherman platter was big enough to feed both of us. I would recommend Bobolas. I eat breakfast out. Bobolas and especially Diana on Sunday morning in the bar area is amazing. She connects with each patron and has the whole place smiling. There is a full bar and the ladies at breakfast raved about the Irish Coffees. My eggs sausage home fries and toast are as inexpensive as the cheapest restaurants in Nashua. I'm truly tempted by the carrot cake pancakes! I recommend Bobolas and Diana with 5 stars! read more
