I have been coming here since 2002. Great food all day long and great prices. Friendly service and you are like family. Try it and you'll be hooked.

    Casual, home town dining!

For lunch time, was seated quickly. Sarah came to take to take order. Easy-peasy! All summer…read morethey've been advertising $10 burger & fries so that's what I ordered. Comes as a single but for a small up charge you can get two patties. For me though, one patty was fine. The burger came with cheese, bacon, pickles and sauce. First bite has sauce oozing out the side down onto the plate. Fries were crispy and golden brown. Sweet tea was perfect, Very laidback atmosphere. No one seemed in a hurry so can only surmise they're regulars. But I enjoyed the atmosphere because of how relaxing it felt. Didn't feel compelled to rush even though I had to get back to work. P.S. Don't know why this posted only two pics but here it is again

Back at Sunset Cove/Seafire Grill for lunch -- no complaints worth filing. Server Cece was great,…read moreeverything came out right. Shelley had the smash burger, fries crispy and exactly as ordered. I went with the Fish Fryday special -- fried cod, fries, tartar. It was fried fish. I ordered fried fish. Hard to complain when the menu delivers on its promise. Kitchen threw in extra tartar sauce without us asking -- always a good sign. Happy hour pricing on my Corona, no dreaded credit card surcharge. Open air Marina view still the best seat around, watching the boats drift by. Only letdown: last visit we had dolphins putting on a show table-side. This time, nothing. I'll be speaking to management about their apparent failure to order dolphins for our table. Unacceptable. Location: Sunset Cove, below Seafire Grill on 19 South in New Port Richey.

We were attracted by the Yelp! reviews. I had my eye on the World Famous Chicken Benedict. It was…read moreeven better than everyone had said it would be! Our server, Jerrica, was wonderful and helped us choose from among the many appetizers as well as and the entree selections for my wife and myself. It has a very local homey feel in all of the best of ways (i..e., made from scratch, not too kitschy). It was a better experience than we expected, and we had high expectations because of all the great reviews we had read. Please make the time to come on down here. (We were in NPR to kayak ourselves.) Yes, I wrote here because I'm writing this before we have finished dessert. Well, I should say our second dessert. We couldn't decide so we went with the Limoncello cake AND the homemade bread pudding, which is huge! We ate the first desert so quickly I didn't get a picture of it. Pics never look as good as the food IRL, but I put one in for posterity. (It looks pretty good!)

We walked into a friendly better diner-like atmosphere. There were booths and a counter. The Parmesan Chicken and the scratch Fettuccine were delicious with hearty portions. We started with the cheese bread and pork belly guacamole - both delicious. Drinks: wife got Pina Coloda and I got the Caipirinha, both made well. We order the 3 lbs of meet and the premium meet tray with mash potatoes (garlic and great!), asparagus, sautéed vegetables and caramelized bananas. This dinner was wonderful and we came away with take home box with some left over meat. Service was prompt and took excellent care of us. Only negatives: small area, we were lucky wasn't that busy but tight accommodations. Drinks: zero refills, unless you get tap water. We will return? Absolutely. If the owner keeps this up he will soon be able to expand his operation into a larger setting.

In the manner of all Brazilian style steakhouses, ALWAYS, ALWAYS OVERPRICED! The food is good, the…read moreservice is mediocre to nearly good service. I have no idea how they "get away" with charging such prices for their beef, chicken, lamb served with "sticky rice" (by the way on my trips to Brazil, I do not recall EVER getting lousy sticky rice - normally it is a Jasmine variety that is delicious and never sticky!) Also Black beans and a small assortment of side sauces that were decent. Oh and very soft Pao de Queso... one of my all time favorites, very much UNDERCOOKED - but I still liked it, due to the difference in cooking style. I have always had Pau de Queso well baked, with a hard crusty outer shell and a soft inner cheesy delightful center! Ani was the waitress, she is Cuban, while the remainder of the staff appears to be Brazilian, not sure, did not have the opportunity to ask. Ani worked her butt off, while the 4 others stood around watching. I hated that I had the sense of prejudice, maybe my "American" sensitivities were set off? I am a conservative, usually not looking for such BS, but this just seemed to be a bit obvious. Albeit the initial amount of people dining was 5 tables with an average of 4... she was able to do her job, but at the sacrifice of timely service to tables. The "ambiance" is fine, nothing truly distinguishes this as a Brazilian restaurant; I have been to Brazil 6 times, there restaurants do not really have anything distinguishable. Except the road side Churrasco - or those inside wayfaring gas stations... always loved those set ups! After sitting and being served for 1.5 hour, the people started to come in... and the place was full of families having a good meal! The other staff finally stepped up and did a good job! All of the staff were congenial, engaging and proactively serving, once the crowd showed up. Do I recommend this place? Yes, but only for an event where you seek a casual ambiance, decent food, pretty good service and you want a less expensive (albeit still expensive) alternative to the "high falooting" Brazilian Steakhouses like Rodizio or Texas de Brazil... those are off the charts!
