Stem Cell injection made me PAIN FREE! Clarix Flo - Stem Cell treatment. My symptoms: Walking with a slight limp, spine/hip joint not stable, lower back pain, hip pain. I cannot sleep on my right side. If I am awake, I hurt. My mental symptoms: Hopelessness, sadness, fear that I may never walk/run again without pain. All my life I have been active. Soccer, tennis, softball, running, skiing, snowboarding... all the things we enjoy growing up in the Bay Area. Then one day, it all went way... so I thought. I am a 57m and I thought that my body started to "age" but Dr. Dani said that at 57, in my physical condition, I should not be experiencing the daily, constant pain in my lower back and hip. I had exhausted all the other treatments, PT, Kinesiology, stretching, pain meds... nothing was working. Thank goodness for Dr. Dani and Stem Cells (Clarix Flo). After an MRI, we discovered why... A labral tear. The labrum helps to stabilize the hip joint and acts as a shock absorber. I credit Dr. Dani with taking me from a wheelchair to winning a half marathon (in my gender and age bracket) in less than a year. I had an acute bimalleolar right ankle fracture (fracture of the medial malleolus, and lateral malleolus) and fracture of the distal fibula, acute grade 2 sprain of the calcaneocuboid ligament, acute grade 2 sprain ATFL, partial thickness tear of the peroneus braves tendon, tendinitis of the peroneus longus tendon, and moderate intramuscular edema. All this means that my right ankle was a mess after I fallen from height, and there was no way I could place any weight on it. I was very fortunate, however, because the bones were not displaced and they still lined up which allowed me to opt out of the surgery that traditional orthopedic doctors were recommending. Also, traditional orthopedic doctors were telling me that in a woman of my age (77 years old), this was a "life altering" injury and I could require assistive devices such as a cane or walker for the rest of my life! I was looking for something much better, and I found it in Dr. Dani. During my first visit with Dr. Dani, my husband wheeled me into her office in a wheelchair. I held up a picture of myself accepting a medal after completing a half marathon. I asked Dr. Dani not to see me as a 77 year old woman with a badly broken ankle but as someone who wanted to get back to doing half marathons. Dr. Dani was very positive, gave me hope, and sent me off to get an MRI of the ankle so we knew exactly what we were facing. During the next visit with Dr. Dani, she went over the MRI results, and we decided on a treatment plan. My doctor sent me here for my back issues along with sending me to Northern California Pain Specialists. I had 5 appointments here total. When I had came here, the only thing she told me was to try pilates because it can help with my back issues. I had 2 followups which were very pointless because she just asked how my back was. Which I said the same because nothing had been done or changed the past few months. Again, just told to try pilates. So pretty much a waste of my time and gas. I got back injections at Northern Cal which helped. Svetlana said she could do them since they are closer to me than Northern Cal. So I tried the back injections she had and they hurt like a you know what getting them and they didnt help my pain at all. So I will be going back to Northern Cal Pain Specialists. First she gave me some exercises, which really DID help, but upon next check she determined that due to inflammation, a cortizone would help. She could see inflammation using ultrasound, so this confirmed her diagnosis and enabled accurate targeting for the injection. I absolutely love Dr. Dani! I came in for Chronic Right shoulder pain due to calcifications in the Rotator cuff, also known as calcific Tendinitis that my PT suggested I see Dr. Dani for. My consult with her was spot on, she did an ultrasound on my shoulder and immediately found the calcifications that were bothering me for so long. She is so pleasant to talk to, she listens, and has excellent bedside manner. I cant speak highly of her. She recommended I come back in for a Barbotage procedure (ultrasound guided needle aspiration of the calcification) I scheduled that the following week and the procedure was nearly painless, just some pressure. After the procedure I had some discomfort and she made sure she followed up with me that week to see how I was doing which was very reassuring. I am literally pain free after 2 weeks of having this very minor office procedure done! its as if I never even had this calcification there, its AMAZING!
