After my usual eye doctor dismissed my headaches and vision complaints, I asked my ophthalmologist for a recommendation and she recommended SVS. Dr. Joncas listened and identified a couple issues. I picked up my new glasses today (2 pair- one for regular wear and one for computer work). Oh my gosh! What a world of difference. My eyes no longer hurt, I didn't realize how strained they felt. No more headache and I can see!!!! I can work on my computer. Dr. Joncas - THANK YOU! You have really improved the quality of my life. The optician was very nice and helpful to find the frames for my face type and explained all the options very well. Thank you for taking your time with me. (And I'm sorry I don't remember your name.) Pricing: It had previously been 3 or 4 years since I purchased glasses. My out of pocket was similar to last time. My husband thought so too. Your vision is so important. I can trust these people. I changed my eye doctor and came here for the first time. I had issues with my contacts in the past and instead of passing me off with a script and calling this appointment a day. However, this doctor took whatever time was needed to see me week after week to get the right fit of contacts for my eyes. It took over a month to find the right contacts and he never made me feel like a problem, but was as invested on coming up with the right solution as I was. The level of care I found with his staff was so comforting. I never felt judged or unwelcome. I actually enjoy the conversations of the staff. What the precious reviews explain as unprofessional was in fact welcoming and like you were coming to see old friends. They never pressured me to buy anything. The patience and attentiveness of this staff was incredible. Haven't been to this location in years except to get my glasses adjusted one time (service was great) because the Okemos one is a LOT closer to where I live. I have been a customer for over ten years and will be switching back predominantly to this one. Why, do you ask? The managers at both locations are great. Staff at the front desk are fine at both. However, the doctor at the Okemos location clearly hated me and wasn't shy about letting me know during my last visit. The doctor at this one was much more personable, even though my prescription is complicated. read more

I have been extremely happy with SVS Vision since My Eye 'Dr I have been going to for years went there to work They have treated me respectiviily and things have went well. Hopefully this year will be the same. He had to adjust my perscription up a couple notches. I have faith all will be well with he had done for me. I have always so far been happy with the service I have gotten and SVS Vision.l THey were wearing masks and disinfecting as protocal. The girls are always friendly and up beat and DR JONCUS IS MY MOST FAVORITE PERSON. I have followed him everywhere he has worked. Started with him when my son was about 10 , he is now 42! Excellent customer service! Staff took extra time helping me find the perfect glasses and clearly explaining my options with insurance. Dr. Joncas was very personable, easy going, and explained each step of the examination so I felt comfortable with the procedure.
