I have never had an eye exam done before and was very nervous. The moment I walked in the door I felt at ease with a very welcoming staff and modern and sleek office décor. While the visit progressed I felt extremely valued by Mrs. Thompson and Dr. Thompson, they were very sincere in getting to know me on a personal level. When doing each set of eye test I felt very assured, they took the time to explain each part of the process very thoroughly so nothing was unexpected. After my prescription was made I made a follow up visit to pick out a pair of glasses. Dr. Thompson and Jessica took the time to help me pick out the perfect pair. It is important to me to be sure of my decisions especially when it comes to fashion. I spent a very good amount of time trying on almost every pair possible and was never alone in the process. They were very helpful with their opinions and were patient as I took my time. They are very knowledgeable in their field and also about their product. I went to Thompson Eye Care twice now. I went to a well known place in Lanisng first and I had to eventually have 4 different eye exams there by 4 of their different eye Dr's, they still could not get my prescription right. So I went to Thompson's and I'm still using the same eye prescription years later... and my eyes did not hurt when I first got his prescription. I'm so thankful for the right one. I can't say enough great things about this business. The office is very clean and professional, their inventory is impressive, and the staff is beyond exceptional when it comes to customer service. I don't have vision benefits, and they were more than fair with pricing. Dr. Thompson provided great advice and comfort to my 6-year-old and me after her school eye exam results were abnormal. I was impressed by his ability to relate to a first-grader and teach her about her vision as well as proper handling of her new glasses. Jessica took her time with us, making sure we found the PERFECT frames for a budding fashionista (that wouldn't break mom's pocket book) that are still durable for a child new to glasses. My family just switched over to Thompson Eyecare from another practice. Between my husband's appointment and my appointment, our insurance company changed. Luckily, they worked with both companies. It was nice to have personal service from both Mrs. Thompson and Dr. Thompson. We were able to make appointments that worked with our work schedules and we were in and out very quickly. They have great knowledge of their projects and explained to me why there was a better contact for my usage than the style that I had worn for years. I chose Thomson Eyecare for my annual eye exam. The service provided was first-rate. It was easy to schedule an appointment at a convenient time. The staff is professional, helpful, and warm. Dr. Thompson conducted a very thorough exam (including a couple tests that other practices appear to overlook). He attended to all of my concerns and provided great insight while answering my questions.
