Probs one of the best bbq spots I've been too. Enjoyed it here more than Texas go for the ribs. They're juicy and super tender. Also got the brisket which I wasn't too fond of. All of the sides are good. I really like the onion straws and corn. They also serve pickles, onion, jalapeños, a variety of bbq sauces table side. read more

Typical bbq chain. Nothing special at all. I make better bbq at my house, and for much cheaper and with MUCH better service. Our waitress was constantly behind and couldn't even understand basic English. Very hard to work with her and she brought all the extra sauces and trimmings that we asked for to the table late. Bar B Que is very good, but whomever cooks the steaks needs to be re trained. A very spongy steak means rare. A very little spongy steak means medium rare. This is what I was supposed to get. I got mooooooooo. If I'm gonna pay $23 for a nice steak dinner, I want it done correctly. I don't send food back, afraid of what they would do to it. The cashier still hasn't offered me the salad bar. Not sure if I'm supposed to ask. Guess if I want a good steak, I'll have to cook it at home myself. read more

What a treat to walk in to great smiles with great service. We had the sampler plus order of fish must say a 5 all around. All the sides ordered were top if the line. Amazing Atmosphere! I love this place. I was really sad to see Western Sizzlin leave, but Swadley's has done excellent to replace them. Everyone is so friendly there. The atompshere is unlike anything else in Enid. We enjoy going there everytime. The food is great, and so dang fast!!! I recommend them to everyone in Enid. read more

My husband and I had our date night and it was great. Attentive staff, great food, and good service. The smoked chicken was out of this wotld, my husband had the farmers sirloin cooked medium and he said it was amazing. The manager was kind and helpful too. read more

Well, well I clap to you Swadley's BBQ... Not once, Not twice, not three times did my glass fall below half, it never fell below half. The walk in feels like a theme park which is fun if you're into that. Though the bullet holes in the walls makes me a bit uneasy and fear for my life. Once you traverse the maze of peril that is the entrance you eventually find yourself at the counter where you order. I ordered the Firehouse sandwich, while my hop scotch bud ordered a Smokehouse Sandwich after ordering we thought the theme park maze was over only to find out it was not. The whole place is confusing. When we sat down they got our drink orders and brought them shortly after. A decent time passed but not too awful long we noticed a couple of waitresses walking around with two trays of food searching for a table they belong to, it was ours they searched for awhile until finally finding us. The firehouse sandwich was excellent being both well made and filling. My hopscotch buds food was NOT SO GOOD. I expected more from this establishment. A smokehouse sandwich is a classic sandwich. Low on meat and condiments being mostly bread is not what it should be. However this place has left a fine impression on me. A place I shall return to indeed 4 stars read more

There was a short wait to order, which I assume comes from its being the 'new' restaurant in town. The barbecue was quite good, with several sauces to suit most BBQ tastes. The restaurant was packed and felt a little claustrophobic, but we still enjoyed ourselves. read more

Enid Oklahoma location. We are from Texas so we do have a certain standard for food. Our review is not about correct way to BBQ. Visited in January of this year and had a wonderful experience. Food and drinks order were taken at the front. Drinks arrived as we were sitting down at the table. Waitress took our specific pickle, onion, sauce order. Arrived at the same time as our food. Food was good as well as hot. Fast forward to our second visit last weekend. Our food was cool not even close to hot. We had to waive the waitress down to get our drinks. Butter, pickles etc. arrived after we finished our food!! The customers in the next booth said, " This is the worst experience I have ever had" Yesterday we were back in Enid...family wanted to go to Swadley's. We thought give them another chance and go with the flow. I thought it has to be better. Think again!! We had to verbally tell /repeat the waitress our drink order 5 times!! 1 water, 1 coke, 2 unsweetened teas and 2 sweet tea. Remember this was given at the front and we have a ticket number on our table. Food was delivered at 3 separate times by staff. Drinks are delivered after we have began eating. Where and what was she doing? We finish eating and sit there visiting. We haven't seen our waitress...... we get up and go to get our own refills and a staff member saw us and told us to go back to our table our waitress would bring us refills. We finally saw her 5 minutes later!! Now about the food - BBQ room temperature. French fries were not fried fresh. They were held over under a heat lamp and greasy. Fried okra was burnt and hard. Save yourself some time and headache. Don't stop at Swadley's. read more

Swadley's is mediocre BBQ at best. If you're not used to good BBQ or come from a place that doesn't have BBQ then maybe come here. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. The pulled pork was over salted, making it slightly below average. Other people in my party agreed the creamed corn was not great either (I love creamed corn, but I did not finish this one). The portion sizes are good if you are extremely hungry or want leftovers. We waited in line for maybe 30+ minutes, but the food came out fairly quickly after. The servers were attentive at getting refills. Furthermore, this place gives free ice cream. However, the only reason why someone should eat this ice cream is because it is free, not for the taste or consistency. I'm shocked that there are billboards claiming this is the BEST in Enid. But maybe Enid doesn't have great BBQ like southern states do. read more

Food was good and the establishment embraced our current predicament by being super careful in food service process (masked workers and social distancing). In a word, disappointing. In two words, shockingly disappointing. Hot Links must be bound in corn byproduct because they taste like Frosted Flakes as much as sausage. The Mac and cheese lacked anything of merit or restaurant quality flair. The mashed potatoes, were fine. Nothing worth coming back back for. The ribs were large, matching up the large price tag. On the good, it's new, it's in Enid, staff polite and facility clean. The rolls were the best thing on the menu. Won't be back but might go with a group if they twisted my arm. Support this business because anything new and modern should in this town. read more

We have been to the Enid, OK location 3 times now. 1st time rib dinner. Sides on point, ribs like leather....literally. . 2 visit ordered ribeye medium rare.... got a well done steak. 3rd trip tonight.... tried the ribs again.... leather...maybe jerky...not sure. Sides were great as always.... staff was awesome....quit overcooking the meats....try your stuff before you send it out. Just my opinion. read more

We have frequented this place almost weekly since it opened and have been extremely satisfied. However, the last two visits have been very disappointing. I/we almost always order the chopped brisket special and the quality of the food is always great, but the portion size seems to have been reduced considerably. Smaller portions of the entire meal. While I understand that restaurants are trying to hang on and stay open, this to me is the wrong approach. Swadley's has dropped out of first place to consider when I go out to eat. Good luck to them and I hope they survive the pandemic because their food quality and service are very good. read more

Bottom line, outstanding!! From the counter service cashiers to every server we had interaction with, the service was courteous and very fast. The BBQ was very good and the sides were outstanding!!! Free soft serve ice cream and to go drink cups were a nice addition. All that combined with a great rustic atmosphere, and a Christian/Family theme, makes this a great time place to have a great meal of comfort food!! read more

Very good BBQ. Brisket on my sandwich was excellent. Well trimmed.... Did not have a bad bite in the whole sandwich. Spicy sauce was a bit hotter than I had anticipated..... But I cannot complain. Being from the KC area the bar is set pretty high for good BBQ. read more

I put a review on this sight and somehow it was deleted. So I'm trying again. I ordered a BBQ Chopped Brisket Sandwich and ordered Chicken which was overcooked (very dry) And the chopped sandwich was 65% Fat. I guess when you get it to go thats how it is. Also they need to learn to read my sandwich was dry their was no BBQ on it at all. This was the worst meal I've had in a very long time. Will never go back to this restaurant again. Don't waste your money its not worth it. If you want a good meal go somewhere else. read more

The first 2 times we visited Swadley's in Enid we weren't very impressed. But they were new and still working out the kinks so we decided we would give them time to get things in order and try them again. We have been 2 other times recently and have been very impressed and pleased. The staff from the manager to the servers have been great. They are very nice, caring and attentive. The food has been very good. We have tried the cheeseburger, chicken fried steak and the all you can eat salad bar and have been pleased with it all. They are willing to answer questions about what ingredients are in their foods - we ask due to diet restrictions. They have not acted like it is an inconvenience and if they don't know the answer immediately they go find out for us. read more

The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Ordered the Oklahoma Sampler. The best part of the meal was the fried okra and rolls. The sweet beans were good as well. The meats (rib, brisket, chicken, ham, and sausage) were just okay. They lacked a smoky barbecue flavor. Actually, the place didn't even smell like smoke inside or out, which should have been a clue. The food was ok, not over the top. The prices were somewhat on the high side $12.00 for a sandwich not including a drink. What completely turned me off, was the sign posted as we waited to place our order. Mr Swadley informs you that his servers rely solely on your generosity, by tipping. Swadley's is making money hand over fist, but will never get another dime from me. I also want to comment on the excellent service we had while dining. We were asked if everything was ok at least a dozen times (which because an annoyance). If your wondering I left my server 20%. I sure hope she finds better employment! read more

What happened!! After treating myself to a cowboy steak dinner for 6 or 7 times since your opening in Enid I was pretty well stuck on becoming a once weekly diner, if not more often. But then came Tuesday. Maybe it was because it was a Tuesday or perhaps the time of day...but I was presented with the worst steak ever. Firstly, it varied in thickness from about an inch up to two, or more. No way something like that was gonna have a chance of being cooked even close to evenly, throughout. I could figure that out from the get-go. Plus, it wasn't a very "good" piece of meat as far as my experience has been. I ended up leaving half on my plate because it was just not a good steak. Of course, as a courtesy, I was asked to cut into it by the presenter to "see if it's cooked okay" but I would never send a meal back, regardless. A badly cooked meal....and then a madly re-cooked meal?? Uh-uh, Anyway, I thought you should know that something was definitely amiss on Tuesday at about 2:45. I do not require, nor desire, a return comment. I believe that, due to your excellence of service, you deserve the respect of being notified when something like this occurs, no matter how uncommon. I love Swadley's but not the one in Enid. I paid $13 plus for the Country Boy with two sides. The Okra was burnt to a crisp, portions of the pulled pork burnt and dry. Next are the portion sizes. I didn't just pay $13 plus for a kids meal. I have eaten Swadley's many times while I lived in OKC and never, have I had burnt small portioned food. Also it would be nice if you employees here in Enid could maybe change out the grease every once in a while. read more
