    Amazing Flavors
    K S.

Absolute best place around to grab an ice cream and a smile. Delicious flavors, including some unique ones- try their ginger! They have all the toppings you want to make an amazing Sundae and specials with great combinations. Plus, Ed and staff are the sweetest and most gracious humans you'll find. You'll leave smiling!

    Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder
    Shawn A.

I had the Lobster Roll. Big chunks of Lobster and little else, just like it should be. The Clam Chowder was also excellent. My wife had the Fish and Chips (she loves F&C) which she said were great. Very reasonably priced. We had Ice Cream for desert and weren't disappointed. The Banana Chocolate Chip and Strawberry Delight were great.

Whole cookies and cream that is not soggy. It crumbles and is soooooo good. *drool

The best ice cream of all time. Truly a hidden gem. Generous portions made with quality ingredients. Ice cream flavors are updated weekly. Put in your requests the week prior with staff. You'll be able to catch Uncle Ed in action on specific days throughout the week. Food served Thursday to Sunday. You may call in your order a head of time. A must for your tastebuds.

Whole Bellie Clam Special and Fish and Chips Special

Cute little place. Indoor seating and outdoor picnic tables. We got the whole bellie clam and fish and chips specials. Delicious and fresh food. Very good. Would highly recommend.

Small establishment on Route 44. Have only had the chowder and the ice cream but both were very good. Well worth stopping for.

Been meaning to write this for a while, since last summer in fact!. Saw the nice reviews on fish n…read morechips and the mention that even though it was not right near the ocean the fish was fresh and the fries great, and that is what we found to be true. They drive in to the fish market a few times a week and bring it into the store. There is a display case for fresh fish and of course they cook it up to order. I got the fisherman platter which included fish and chips, perfectly cooked fried nice and crispy fries, with fried clams and fried scallops. Fries were perfect and came with a nice little coleslaw cup too. Couldn't finish it! My buddy got a baked stuff lobster and that took a few minutes. It was stuffed with scallops! We sat outside at one of two little tables. It was a nice day, very pleasant out and quiet a few locals came in to grab take out. The place is well regarded. The owner's dad was cooking, and his girlfriend Kathy I believe ran the counter and both were super nice to talk to. Told us their story. Everyone has one and it's always nice to hear how people come to do what they are doing. Very small store and other than the 2 tables outside it's take-out. Has a case with some items and T shirts. I almost bought one, but they didn't have any XL today. It's located in a little plaza not far from Attleboro that has the Chartley Country store. It's not near to me but it was a fun drive, a good time and the fried fish is fresh and yummy.

The Cumberland, Rhode Island location has…read morebeen our special place for anniversaries and Valentine's dinners, so we already knew how wonderful their food and hospitality could be. Today we had the opportunity to visit the Taunton location for a bereavement luncheon after a family funeral, and I was truly impressed. The luncheon was held in a beautiful private room upstairs that was set up perfectly for our gathering. Everything was elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The meal was served family-style buffet, and every dish was outstanding. The quality of the food was exactly what we've come to expect from La Familia--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive to everyone's needs, yet never rushed our group. Considering the emotional circumstances of the day, their kindness and professionalism meant a lot to all of us. And I have to mention the bread--whoever makes it deserves special recognition. I would happily buy a loaf or two every week if I could. A sincere chef's kiss to the entire establishment and especially the function team who handled our event so beautifully. La Familia continues to prove why it's such a special place for our family.
