Took a garment in to have re zippered and it broke first time I tried using it. The owner wanted to charge me a second time and I was shocked. He said the zipper he buys he's not responsible for them if they break. He also said he needs to redo the whole zipper, which going to another dry cleaner I learned was a lie. I've been to Swan Cleaners a few times to clean sheets, alter clothing and the works...each and every time I've been thoroughly disappointed with their service attitude, quality of work and overall experience. I think if you want okay quality dry cleaning, poor quality clothing alterations for an okay price, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I suggest you find another shop for better work. Very poor service! They charge a lot and don't do good job. They give me my shirts back dirty with all the stains and they ruin my expensive jacket. They guy is very rude and obnoxious. I'm such a fan of Swan Cleaners, I've been going there weekly for years and take all our dry cleaning and my husbands button down shirts there. We've never had an issue that hasn't been resolved quickly and to our liking. Every now and then I'll ask for an item to be re-done or they will even bring it to my attention that spot didn't come out all the way and they have always made sure I am happy when I leave the store. I requested once for my pants to be hung over the hanger, not clipped at the top and they always remember. It's not a fancy place, but they have good service and get my clothes clean. read more

NOT ADVISED. I dropped off two pairs of jeans. Both to get cleaned and starched. One to be hemmed to be the same length as the other. I returned three days later for pick up ,and the guy told me that the pants were already the same length and they didnt alter them. As for the cleaning and starch. I drive past dozens of cleaners to get to Swan. I could go to any one of them, but I don't. Why? Because Swan provides excellent service. The staff are knowledgeable, they answer all my questions, and most importantly, they take excellent care of my belongings. One time I brought in several scarves and one of them had a pretty bad stain on it. The staff member said they would try their best. When I picked up the scarves, the staff member said they tried the best they could, but there was still a hint of stain left. I told him not to worry about it, it was my fault for not taking care of the stain sooner. He didn't charge me for the scarf AND he gave me a small discount on the total bill. I thought that was a generous gesture. Well, when I got home and peeled the plastic off the scarves, I couldn't believe my eyes. The scarf was near perfect. I couldn't find a hint of stain anywhere.
