Got a pedicure done. For the price, it's worth it. Although my pedicure was definitely rushed.

EXCELLENT! I should've came here in the first place to get my acrylics done. This salon was recommended to me by a friend. I came here for a fill on my set of acrylics after being unhappy with the shape that was done at another salon in Gainesville. The nail tech was amazing and kind with me. She was also extremely patient with my tense hands. She reshaped my nails to give them a more natural shape and did an excellent job on the fill. I will certainly come back here, I think they're the best in Gainesville.

This was my first time here & I got a fill with regular polish.. appt was made but I had to wait another 20 minutes, I didn't mind even though Tina apologized several times about the wait! My nail tech was super nice and made sure I was happy with the shape and shared her knowledge with me on what I wanted and why. This is my new go to place for sure. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the polish selection, there wasn't many glitters for an accent nail.. but that's super minor

I was pretty happy with my French tip manicure. It was $35 + $5 to remove the gels I had. I thought Tina did a great job. I got her to remove a little too much length & round them out too much, but that's my fault. The next time I get new tips, I will get them longer & keep them more squared. But she did exactly what I asked & did an awesome job. They could have put more lotion on my hands, or been a little more personable, but all in all, I liked the location & they did a great job. They should get kid prices, tho. Besides that, I liked it, & will prob go back for fill-ins..& to get longer ones next time. (I'm partial to French tips--I got gels at a different nail salon the day before, & was Not a happy camper.) (I'd give them 5 stars if they were just a little friendlier, & if they'd put lotion on ur hands or something-a light massage, something a little more to moisturize ur hands.)

Being new in town, I did what I always do, and chose my nail salon on the basis of Yelp ratings. Well . . . People were friendly. The price is definitely right, $20 for a pedicure though I'm happy to pay a bit more to get a great job. I waited 1/2 an hour for a chair, but that's what I get for walking in on a busy day. The pedicure is okay, though I can see tiny traces of color on my skin. I prefer to have my toes "set" under lights, but although no one was using the light, the tech insisted I sit in the chair for an additional 1/2 hour until I was sufficiently dry. I finally just said I had to leave, and she helped me slip my foot into the sandals. My concern focuses on cleanliness -- rinsing the tools under the tap after use does not constitute sufficient cleaning, let alone sterilizing between clients. Also, her sponges and buffers were just stuck back into the tech's tool basket, and used directly on the next customer. I can't be sure, but I tried to watch carefully, and I didn't see any use of disinfectant or cleaner on the soaking bins between clients - just let the water out, swish a bit with water, and on we go. While I was waiting, a woman came in who said she had a pedicure just at the beginning of the week. The polish on two of her toes had lifted -- "How long will I need to wait to get a touchup?" The response, though said politely: "We don't have time to do this, but you are welcome to use the polish yourself." Ummmm. Not good enough, my friends. I'll be trying elsewhere.

We wanted to do it as early as possible, so we came in when they opened. We were out of there in 20 minutes. The ladies were really friendly and efficient! We loved our gel manicures, and it was a great price too! Unfortunately, they didn't have the color changing gel polish I wanted, but I was still happy with the outcome.

The nail tech I got was not good. I have a bad memory but I do remember my toes getting painted haphazardly and barely cleaned.

I got a full set. It wasn't bad; however, I've been picking glue off my fingers all day. I've had better and I would consider this average.

The back massage I got from the chair during my pedicure was also a gift from heaven. My nail tech was quiet, but friendly and paid attention to details; however I do wish she would've scrubbed my feet harder/more aggressively. The leg scrub massage was fair, but I think that part of the service really depends on who is working with you. But she was super sweet and let me try on 3 colors because I couldn't make a decision. This is still one of my top two places (in GNV) to go to for nail needs. I plan to return in the future! Update: I went home & looked more closely and saw that my right big toenail's gel polish didn't set right & now the whole thing is lifting and about to peel right off. Hoping that they'll agree to help fix this issue when I try to go back tomorrow. I'd return and get it fixed today, but have a wedding to attend. It really sucks though because this was $50 before tip (-$5 for the review) & now my toe looks ugly for the wedding :( definitely willing to update the review again if they agree to fix! *also found another toe that had this same issue with not curing correctly*
