Suits and sport coats are pressed by hand rather than stamped by a commercial press and the materials are always handled with Care. Their pricing is also very fair. Cost U Less Dry Cleaners will end up costing you more in time and money. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS…read more I took in 3 pairs of straight wide leg pants for an original hem. That's it, just an original hem that anyone who knows how to use a sewing machine can do. I was told to pick up in a week. A week later, when I go to pick up, all three pairs were shortened, but no original hem. The guy there says, "Don't worry, we will fix." Fast forward It's been four weeks of me going back and forth checking on the status of my pants and they were still not done in the original hem. The man who runs the place, Manny, is clueless. He will assure you that all will be taken care of, but you really can not trust a word he says. A month has gone by, I confronted Manny and he refuted by saying that it was me who did not ask for an original hem to begin with. Incredulous, I had to show him my receipt where it said Original Hem - 3 pairs. He said to give him one more day to fix, but I told him, "I gave you a month and you couldn't get a simple original hem done, I do not trust that you know what you are doing." I then asked for credit back as I did not get what I paid for and yet, he would offer no concessions. He did give me back my cut up strips of the original hem though. So there is that. I ended up bringing my clothes to a legit tailor as I really wanted original hem. The two tailors took one look at the pants and the scraps of the original hem and they immediately said that it would be impossible to fix to keep the integrity of the pants. To fix, would mean to have to taper the entire length of the pant to line up with the original hem, resulting in an MC Hammer parachute pant and therefore highly advised against it. They continued, "your pants are not bad...but they are not good, either. Whover told you they can fix these, doesn't know what they are talking about. You should have come to us first." Not what I wanted to hear on the $500 I spent on pants. Knowing what I know now, I would have gone to a shop that specializes in tailoring and not to the shoddy tailor that Cost U Less has crammed in the corner of their laundromat. To make matters worse, Cost U Less is actually expensive for what you get. I called around and the legit tailors were only $5 more. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.

I had an important interview coming up, so I dropped off my suit and shirt early like I always do....just in case something went wrong. This time, something did. When I went to pick everything up, my shirt was missing. I'm sure Kelly saw the look on my face while I was mentally trying to figure out how I was going to replace it before the interview. Before I even had to push the issue, she stepped up and made it right. She paid for a replacement shirt and comped the suit dry cleaning. About a week later, they found my original shirt attached to someone else's order, and I picked it up yesterday. Mistakes happen anywhere. What matters is how a business responds when they do. Kelly and the team handled it the right way, and that's why I'll keep coming back.

My husband's suit came back with 5 noticeably damaged buttons on the vest, and the sport coat was also pressed incorrectly so the lapel doesn't lay flat. I asked for a supervisor to call me, but no one did. I had to call back. Kelley offered to replace the buttons with something similar. (The suit was custom tailored at Nordstrom's; so random replacements would never suffice). I expressed concerns about my wedding dress being there for spot cleaning, due to the lack of care and quality check we experienced with the suit. She said that when the suit was cleaned last week, she was gone, and the owner was responsible for cleaning the suit. She literally blamed the damage on the owner Cindy. She also said that there was no guarantee on my dress not being ruined, asked me to come pick it up while raising her voice at me and being short of breath! I politely pointed out that there was no reason to raise her voice at me, and she hung up. I had her on speaker phone with my husband present and we couldn't believe her tone and lack of professionalism. I prepaid $325 for my dress to be cleaned, and the employee who took my order in did not mention that there was any risks or lack of guarantee on hand spot cleaning my dress. UPDATE: the owner, Cindy, reached out to me and said that she doesn't remember the vest buttons being damaged upon cleaning but she did mention that the buttons are made of shell. So, she was deflecting all responsibility here. I was not even offered a full refund, she just wanted me "to come pick up the dress". I had to ask for a full refund! It's been a couple of days and there is no pending refund on my credit card. This company is also false advertising, as they claim to specialize in wedding dresses and that each dress comes with a consultation for best cleaning options.

It's dry cleaning: you want reliable and consistent good service and they deliver. I do want to point out that Rita has a huge personal touch. When picking up after my first drop off, she recalled and addressed me by name - very welcoming. It's nice to support a business that cares about you as a customer. I'll be going here from now one.

When I returned two weeks later to pick up my dress, everything fit perfectly--but as I was about to pay, I was suddenly told the total was $70 more than the original quoted price. I was never contacted to approve any additional charges before the work was done. Instead, I was put in the uncomfortable position of paying this extra amount. Both of the women working there did not respect the original receipt and made me feel stuck in a situation where I had to pay. Would not recommend this place, as it seemed they do this often.
