Moreover, Emily and Lucas have gone above and beyond to make personal connections and impact the community positively. This wasn't just a cafe; it was a place to belong and be a part of something greater than yourself. While I selfishly hope that Emilou's is only closed at this location and not forever, no matter what, I wish Emily and Lucas nothing but the best. They deserve it.

"The best part of waking up . . Is Emilou's coffee in your cup!" Isn't that how it goes? Ha!…read more Today I had the pleasure of fueling up at Emilou's Cafe. I went to grab my coffee order & get my day started. This hidden gem was located next to 'Hi-Tide Laundromat' right behind an oasis of plants. There is a large floor marker that reads 'locally roasted coffee' & I knew I had found the spot. A quaint space with a small ordering lobby & a couple of chairs, window-front. The small cafe offered an assortment of drink options, so I checked out the menu. After a quick study of the menu I went with the 'Whipped CBD Honey Latte' iced. Sounded like a nice way to get me a 'up' a little & down a little. Iykyk. My drink was carefully yet quickly crafted by a friendly gentleman staff member. I forgot to mention wanting to request a milk alternative but was asked just before it was added making it easy to adjust before receiving my drink. My gut thanks you, kind sir. I stepped outside to the plant cloaked patio to enjoy my drink. My drink [Whipped CBD Honey Latte] was tasty & refreshing. Perfect midday pick me up.. Rich coffee complimented with a hint of honey & ice to perfection. My only wish was that it was a little sweeter but otherwise this was 'the perfect cup'! I'll certainly be back to fuel up another day & will turn up the sweetness a notch. Thank for making a gorgeous cup of joe & for hosting my coffee experience! Cheers to a successful 2024!

I've been going here for years now and they are the nicest most wonderful people who give good tours and have wonderful silly and snuggly baby goats! They give you real time with them and don't have a forced amount of time on each part of the tour - unlike Harley goat farm. You can skip the tour and just hung with the baby goats the whole time if you want! Also can come early or stay late depending on when if there's another tour that day. I get enough time with the baby goats - and I loooove baby goats so that's saying something! Bring a meal if you want to eat and hangout at their picnic tables. I've gotten to milk the goats a few times, feed the adults, be there for a goat birth (just happened while on the tour!), and have all the baby goat snuggles and silliness. Love the family farm, love the folks who run the baby goat tours/visits. Also a cute town to go into after for food, beverage, also wine tastings nearby. I recommend a second set of clothes to change into after in case you get dirty (goats are relatively clean, but they're goats so not like indoor pets. I let the baby goats climb all over me.)

We are a family of six, including three generations - all of which thoroughly enjoyed the tour! We…read morecuddled baby goats, fed their mothers and learned about goat farming along the way. The farm is beautiful and Jennifer is a great guide. Highly recommended!

I had heard of them through Sonoma…read moreCounty Farm Trails and then followed them on social media for updates on their "high bloom" lavender season. Following their posts is a good way, in addition to the website to get details on ticketed entry, status of the fields and other openings they might have through the year. It's how I found out they'd have an extra opened day on Monday July 3rd. I took the day off and was able to enjoy the fields, crowd free. They do limit the number of visitors and set a 75 timed entry window. You do a complete loop around the fields, but not walk through the rows or have any u-pick opportunities. The location up on a hillside with sweeping views guarantees you a gorgeous shot no matter where you're standing. The folks checking visitors in and running the farm stand were very nice and welcoming. I purchased some lavender honey and lavender scrub from their on-site store. I sampled their lavender essential oil as well-something they are very proud of! It was wonderful. A short tour is offered as part of your admission but I opted out. I didn't think I'd spend the entire time window here but did! Very peaceful and beautiful place. You can also bring a picnic lunch and they have some tables over by a small pond. Just an all around fantastic lavender experience.

Kudos to everyone managing it- it's organized with specific places to stand for photos. Special kudos to manager Eric who gave us a small tour of the farm, its history, pollinator garden and gave us free pollinator friendly plant seeds to grow! We also bought lavender candle and lavender balsamic vinegar from the store. Wonderful afternoon spent!
