Pros: If eating in, food is always perfect temperature, tasty and comes out exactly as described. Cons: If ordering for delivery, packaging could be a better. Arrives somewhat soggy and not as good as ordering from dine in. Staff is always very helpful and patient. Kids are always treated like family which is a huge bonus for me personally. If your visiting from out of town, I would highly suggest you give this spot a try for dine in as this is what Windsor has to offer to make you feel at home!

The ambiance is casual, and the service was great to throw some tables together for our large group without advance notice. Our server was Heather, and she took great care of us the whole meal, which lasted almost three hours! Never a rush for a birthday party. For food, we always have our favorites here: the wedge salads (whole and half!) and, for appetizers, the Frickles, Kin wings, and calamari. We also had some other great dishes, such as the YBC burger (Certified Angus Beef patty, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, on a toasted brioche bun), the Dip (Thin sliced, slow-roasted top round, melted Grand Cru Gruyere cheese, smoked horseradish cream, toasted hoagie, garlic au jus), and a Michelangelo (two 4oz burger patties, American cheese, house aioli, house-made pickles, lemon pepper bacon and onion jam, crispy potato strings, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted brioche bun) - truly a masterpiece! I also grabbed two pizzas to take home: the Mac Daddy and the Smokehouse. Their mac n' cheese as an entree is great too, but not this visit! We tried some adult beverages as well, and the margaritas this visit were a disappointment - very bitter. The Mai Tais were amazing, by comparison, and soon several of us found a new beverage to enjoy. All the food was great, and the Frickles were well-fried and hot, but not greasy at all. The wedge salads are substantial, so a half for us is usually enough as an entree when taken with all the appetizers. And again, Heather was a great server for our needy group! Thank you! Looking forward to the next road trip to Windsor.

Woah! How does this only have a 3.8 rating!?…read more Hubs and I had the most wonderful experience here in July 2026. Beautiful location, friendly staff, great beer and delicious food! This place is HUGE! So much seating everywhere!! My only complaint is that we asked for a great view that the hostess liked and she should have warned us she was seating us in the dog friendly patio area. After we had already ordered, some woman had her dog literally laying on top of the table. So that was disgusting. Their whole table was extremely loud and annoying. Other than that, it was a beautiful area. Now on to the food and beer. We ordered a couple beers, what a great price for most! They were ice cold and delicious! For the first appetizer we ordered the riblets (I wish there had been more), they were very tasty. Next we ordered the grilled artichoke- make sure you order this!! What a flavor explosion! So so good. I only wish our two appetizers were warmer, but we didn't let that stop us from devouring them. Then we shared the Russian River cheesesteak and upgraded to the Pliny fries - you must do this! A delicious white cheese fondue on top of fries with jalapeños and Parmesan on top, then dip your sammich in the cheese fondue. Yum yum yummmm! The cheesesteak was very tasty!! Carlos was our server and was very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our time here. You can't eat outside but you can take drinks in metal cups to enjoy the scenery out back. Kid friendly.

I love local wines, but this Italian girl also loves exploring and trying these imported Italian wines and provisions too. Variety...the spice of life! The owners are extremely knowledgeable about all the wines they carry. Need a recommendation? Just ask! I've been in a few times so far to purchase Italian wines and treats including Antonio Mattei Biscotti di Prato (the best biscotti ever!), torrone (a nougat confection), pasta, and tomato sauce. They also carry Italian sardines, olive oils, cookbooks, wine decanters, and more. Follow them on social to learn about their Friday wine tastings (I still need to get to one), and give them a visit!

Finally back Yelping after a 2+ year absence due to the pandemic. It's great to be back!…read moreWe have been visiting Ciao Bruto for the past few months, it's a fabulous new Italian wine and Provision store (along with French Champagne) that is unlike any other wine and provision store in the North Bay, or even in most of the Bay Area. Large, excellent selection of high quality wine from every region in Italy. Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany etc. etc. they are all covered and in EVERY price range. I have bought numerous bottles based off the recommendations of the owners, all have been exceptional. Add in a large selection of French Champagne and Italian sparkling wine and you have a truly unique assortment of Italian wine and French Champagne. If that was the extent of Ciao Bruto it would be great but the provisions part of the store is awesome! Specialty Italian ancient grain pasta in all shapes and sizes. Believe me, you can taste the difference compared to chain store pasta. Also a large assortment of tinned fish-shellfish, honey, spices, vinegars and oils, pickled veggies, various pestos and sauces, flour, chocolates and others confections, pasta making machines, Italian cookbooks and a whole lot more. All this imported from Italy! You can't quite completely "grocery shop" there but you can get specialty food, wine and provisions you simply can't get anywhere else. Ciao Bruto is the creation from the people next door at Idlewild Wines, also makers of great Italian Piedmont varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbara, Nebbiolo, Arneis etc. all grown in nearby Mendocino County. Service at Ciao Bruto is friendly and very helpful. Not sure about Italian wine, French Champagne or specialty food from Italy, no problem, just ask for help from Courtney whose expertise is French Champagne or Thomas whose knowledge is all about Italian wine and food. We are so happy to have Ciao Bruto locally here in Healdsburg!
