This is a really cute little shop with a huge selection of honey and other honey-related products…read more The woman working there said When we walked in, 'You can taste whatever you like." I got to taste a couple of really interesting meads that were made locally, and got to hear a bit about the history of the person who made them. I got a bottle of the one that is full of winter spice flavors, which will be good for Thanksgiving. A friend with me who wanted some honey tried a few until she found the one she wanted. If you are a fan of honey or mead, this is a great place to check out.

The first thing that you notice was the lovely smell. But when I saw all the different honey from around the world I want to taste them all. Turns out, they have a cute love seat at the counter and you can taste the honey. I think the owner waited on me and she offered samples of the lotion, oil & lip balm. I bought the dry oil, I never heard of such a thing. This oil made with honey extract was soothing and did absorb into my skin and wasn't sticky leaving a nice scent. I bought it. I use it after every bath and it feels like I have a spa in my bathroom. I purchased their Crème Legere the light face cream. I am so pleased with the way it works, I stopped using my other face cream. The final purchase was the lip balm. It's made with honey extract and works better than any chap stick or lip gloss I've used. The gloss has a slight glimmer to it and looks good as the final touch to my lipstick. There was a QR code on the balm so I looked it up on an app I have that lets you know, if there are toxic or cancer causing ingredients. So far I have never seen a product that had 0 toxic ingredients. Now I'm on a search for a lipstick with that excellent rating. I've not found one yet. Having something on my lips that is natural and could be edible is what all lip product should be. Looks like I'll be using this perfect lip balm from now on. I use it every day. There isn't one thing in the entire store that I wouldn't buy. Everyone should go to this crème of the crop store!

This is the kind of place with soul where you can relax in the shaded or sunny courtyard outside with a glass of wine or bubbles if you decide not to do a tasting. They were originally making olive oil and still do but eventually became a vineyard. There is a peaceful little garden outside and there are even pigs to say hello to. We were given a sampling of three different wines to try, and ultimately decided on the sparkling for a glass as we walked the gardens. There was hardly anyone else there as it was late in the day, but it felt peaceful as we strolled and as if we had the whole place to ourselves. While the wine was quite good, what really makes this place stand out is their olive oil, the pollinator garden, and of course - Petunia the pig. As animal people, we gravitated to her and felt it was hard to pull away from her adorable grunts as we scratched her to sleep. Thankful for the downtime experience and excited to try the olive oil we purchased now that we're home!

We were on a tour that ordered from Big John's. We liked it so much we came back again the following day to grab another sandwich to eat while we were wine tasting. The store is a full market plus a big selection of pre-made and To Go foods. And they have a great wine selection! Lots of great locals finds there. Mind you... they don't carry Everyone and Everything but they have a lot of the local wineries there at reasonable prices. If you need to put together snacks (aka fancy Chacuterie) for a party, this is the place to go. It's better than Whole Paycheck (Foods) IMO and the prices are better. If you are staying at a rental with a kitchen, definitely come here to stock up on meats, breads and produce. Highly recommend making a stop here!

We also wanted pasta and they have a large variety of high quality pasta. We went to a winery and we were recommended to come here from a local and it's definitely worth stopping by if you are staying in an Airbnb or a great place to find items for a charcuterie board or pretty picnic if you're doing one at the vineyard. We wished we had stopped by sooner in our trip! If comparing to LA grocers, this would be similar to Bristol Farms, but they had a wide variety of prices for their goods so that they had reasonably priced, nice items as well. We also saw cute stationary items in their gift wrap, gift bag and cards area.

Parking is fairly plentiful in the strip mall it's located in. Stepping inside you'll find a nice market with many different products such as produce, a small salad bar, olive bar, groceries and drinks as well as a deli. Everything looked really good quality. We chose two Tuscan veggie sandwiches which were already prepared in the deli case and looked incredible. The helpful deli counter employee recommended that they were best heated up and offered to do so while we looked around. Soon our sandwiches were warm and off we went. The sandwich was delicious. Absolutely a delight to the senses. Visually it was fresh and vibrant. The layers were impressive. The taste, amazing. The olive tapenade, pesto, greens and veggies were delicious. It's been a while since I've had such a delicious sandwich. We both were saying "yum, mmm" with each bite. Epic sandwich. The service was great. I highly recommend Shelton's Natural Foods market.
