They are not at all agile in neither customer service nor accommodating needs of the disabled. I do not drive due to my injuries. My Uber was late and I tried to call at 4pm regarding a 4:20 appointment, but it took 10 or more minutes to reach a human. I had to coonect to the billing depot before I was able to speak to a person who xoonected me to bellmore. By the time I got a person I was nearly there when I was told I would not be seen today. I arrived, first time there, and their street facing door is actually their back door, with a sign that said please knock loudly. I knocked, soneone came, open the door and asked what I wanted. I said to come in. He said you have to go to the front which is actually the back. Here I am barely able to walk and this idiot wants me to walk around the building rather than accommodate me and let me in. The director was not available. I believe this business is too busy to care about being customer friendly and accommodating, and too big to be agile and adjustable. I was asked I'd I wanted to reschedule and I replied absolutely Not. I will not do business with such an establishment which is probably an indication of the level of treatment I would receive.

They immediately call you…read moreafterwards with a bunch of questions along with wanting your credit card number (even though it's a free class) the class was rougher than I thought and my body was trembling at certain points. I understand it's high intensity but there are other high intensity workouts I'd rather try. As soon as the free class was over, they had just enough employees on hand to come to each of us taking the free class ready to get our money. They already had a schedule ready for us, whether or not it actually worked around our lives. If you have the time, money and strength to do this, go for it. But I'd personally prefer a place that doesn't come for you like a shark. You could tell they were following a script as it sounds like what's written in their email communications. And when I said I wasn't ready to sign up and that I don't get paid until next week, I was met with a "well I'll trust you that you don't get paid until next week" I know it's Garden City, however that doesn't mean all the clientele walking in comes from Garden City where they can afford this. It was also a holiday where schools were closed and people were off of work. The surrounding businesses were packed with people, I thought this class would be full with regulars as well. It was only three of us which also raised a red flag because why wouldn't people be getting their workout in on their day off, unless people really weren't going there? My bar also conveniently had a ribbon tied around that a staff member cut off and made sure to tell us a that it was to celebrate someone's milestone in the previous class which to me seemed a bit staged as a way to lure us in.

WARNING: AVOID THIS STUDIO AT ALL COSTS! This establishment displays a callous disregard for the…read morewell-being of its patrons, showing no regard for pregnant individuals, those experiencing postpartum complications, or struggling with postpartum depression. Their sole focus is profit, devoid of any compassion or decency. I was told early on in my pregnancy that I cannot work out and so I froze my membership and even after my 6 week postpartum appointment I still couldn't resume my membership. Had I known they would have wanted a doctor's note I would have gotten one a long time ago, but they asked me the Friday before Christmas when it was not possible to get done within their timeline and so I guess they didn't believe me or like that and so they charged me for a full month regular membership without warning, exhibiting a blatant disregard for my circumstances. I had already been paying $15 a month to have my account frozen for basically the whole year of 2023 because I was pregnant and was not allowed to work out. They told me they would refund me for the full month membership that they charged me without warning, if I could provide them with a doctor's note. Their offer of a "refund" was a deceitful manipulation; it amounted to nothing more than store credit. Let me be unequivocally clear: store credit is not a refund. Their attempt to deceive me further illustrates their deceitful practices. And, WHY THE HELL would I want to return to a studio like this. This is all I need when going through post partum depression is a small BS studio giving me shit and stealing my money. Upon requesting cancellation, they callously demanded a written letter, a petty and unnecessary obstacle. Subsequently, when I rightfully disputed their unjust charges, they resorted to egregious tactics, involving a collections agency and fabricating absurd fees of over $800!!!??? This doesn't even make sense. Furthermore, their failure to acknowledge my relocation to upstate NY, which warranted cancellation long ago, highlights their incompetence and lack of accountability. It is evident that this studio owes ME restitution, not the other way around.
